View Full Details of Watermeadow GrangeFrom the start with Watermeadow Grange, we felt we were dealing with friends and family. We were looking for short-term respite care for my Dad who lives with us, while we went on holiday. The home admissions advisor was fantastic - and our initial visit with Dad to the home was like visiting a 5-star hotel. I could not have left Dad in anywhere I would not have stayed myself, and honestly it felt like Watermeadow Grange was a luxury home from home. We had a lovely home visit prior to admission, where Dad's interests, routines and story were tracked. When we dropped Dad off for his 2-week stay, my husband and I joined Dad for a delicious lunch (and wine!). I honestly can say Watermeadow Grange has been absolutely amazing, and given us options to have some time together as a family, away from care-giving responsibilities. I cannot recommend Watermeadow Grange enough. The staff are amazing, the fabric luxurious, the food delicious. You can trust them to care 150 per cent with your loved one.
I am 95 years old and became a widow in 2017. I lived alone but early this year found that I needed more care. My family introduced me to Watermeadow Grange in March 2024 and I moved in on 21/3/2024. I can only recommend this care home as being of the highest quality and as you will see I have awarded the highest marks to all the relevant questions. I guess each one of us would prefer to be independent but if one has to live in a care home this is the best.
Very pleasant, kind and observant.
Watermeadow Grange has been fantastic. Mum is very happy here and thinks all the staff are very kind. She loves the accommodation and the food. Watermeadow Grange staff have been nothing but extremely helpful and keep us updated with Mum's progress.
We are very happy indeed and the staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and my mother is getting excellent care. We have noticed at the weekend there aren't as many staff but overall we are satisfied.
We hired the function room at Watermeadow Grange to celebrate my father's 97th birthday. The room was really well set up for this event. The manager was incredibly helpful in making sure everything went according to plan re food and drink and visitors' well-being. A good time was had by all. Much appreciated.
I had a lovely visit to Watermeadow Grange to visit my friend who is a resident there. We booked out the private dining area and had personalised service from one of the care home staff. He was very attentive and the food was delicious! Thank you to all the staff for making it such a wonderful visit.
My experience of Watermeadow Grange was excellent. There is a wonderful calm ambience in the building. All of the staff I encountered were extremely calm and helpful. I have not answered two of the questions below, being activities as I have not witnessed any, also value for money because I do not know the cost of staying at Watermeadow Grange so could not comment. However I was and am very impressed with the facility.
We held a 97th birthday party for my father in the private dining room. We provided all of the food and drink; however the room and table were beautifully arranged and the crockery and cutlery nicely wrapped and presented. Plentiful tea and coffee were provided and the staff member who assisted on the day was very attentive and helpful. He was extremely hard-working and kind. Nothing was too much trouble.
Checked in for some respite care and a lovely experience. The staff are caring and friendly and my family member reports enjoying the food and outings. A lovely environment to visit.
It is a super friendly safe place to visit my grandparents.
We find the staff and home very helpful and the care they give my in-laws is excellent.
Can totally recommend 110%. Had a family celebration today and the food and service were excellent. Always feel welcome, everyone. Friendly, very happy with the service and care provided. Mother also agrees.
Four of us, two daughters and granddaughter, went to visit my oldest friend. One daughter was the goddaughter of my friend. I was delighted to see the residence which I thought was first class. Beautifully appointed. I loved the decor, plenty of space, sitting areas and gracious dining rooms. We were given a tasty lunch in the private dining room. A first-class experience. Residents are privileged.
Lovely lunch and friendly service. Food was delicious, especially liked the dessert.
Excellent. The home admissions adviser was very, very helpful - as was everyone else.
The staff are amazing! They have such a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism. The facilities are great and the rooms are done to a very high standard. You can tell this is a very special place and everyone is treated so well.
I have now been here since the 23rd of August 2023. My husband died in February, and we had the most incredible help from the wonderful staff. I am quite content to think I shall spend the rest of my days here. The carers are fantastic and give 100% occupied with love. You could not ask for more, you could have every facility you could possibly want and entertainment (I have experienced the homes).
My father has been a resident at Watermeadow for 9 months and it is something that I can truly say was one of the best decisions. He is far happier than he was living on his own due to how welcoming the staff here and their continuing support. His quality of life is much improved which is a credit to all at Watermeadow.
From the moment I stepped over the threshold I knew that I was going to be taken care of and chosen the best place to recuperate. The accommodation and all the public rooms are beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The staff are so caring and they remember everyone's names. I love the food so will be disappointed when I return home to cook for myself! Thank you.
