My father is very well looked after. The staff are very attentive, caring and friendly. They know him well and encourage his interests. We are warmly welcomed by all staff when we visit.

Excellent level of care and attention to needs. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Interests are considered and every effort is made to ensure engagement. The lifestyle leader organised a room, decoration and refreshments (without us asking, a lovely surprise) for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday so that my father-in-law and the rest of the family could be included in the celebrations. It is a great relief that we know that my father-in-law is being cared for and is made comfortable 24/7.

Very pleased with the attention shown to Dad's needs and the care given. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and all are very helpful. Lifestyle staff have considered Dad's interests and have set up a chess club with one member of staff, who is organising this, teaching herself to play in order to join in, really impressed with her. Escorts on mini bus trips have been excellent, this included a Christmas visit to a family members home which was lovely for Dad. Most importantly we know that Dad is being cared for and is comfortable for 24 hours a day.

My mum is currently at Llys Herbert Care Home having respite care. This is her second time there and she is thoroughly enjoying it again. Not only is my mum being cared for but she has also made new friends and is taking part in the daily activities. The facilities are excellent, her room is lovely as are the communal areas. My mum is really grateful for everything that is been done for her and the support she is being given. All of the staff are excellent, they are very caring and nothing is too much for them. I can highly recommend Llys Herbert as the care home to go to for either respite or full-time from the service my mum has received.

What a stunning care home. Llys Herbert is the next level of beautiful. Superior decorated and each time I've been there the manager has been welcoming and most helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and everything looks perfect.

This place is wonderful, from the first show around to the present. It was a big step as a family to put our Mother in on respite, even though we knew it was needed. The whole team made the check-in a smooth, pleasant experience and put us all at ease. We are thrilled with how quickly our Mother has settled in, made friends and joined in with the activities on offer. It's lovely for us to see her so happy and the change in her. We call it her five-star hotel. The rooms, meals and facilities are excellent. The care given by the team in the dementia community has been amazing.

When visiting today, my mother-in-law was going to join the Activities Manager for the chair exercise class. It was fabulous. She was very personable with all the residents, she knew all by name and their abilities to conduct some movements. She was very safety conscious of their personal limits and referred to their progress. The activities were fun. She had a lovely way with the residents to win their confidence and trust. The mindfulness/breathing activity was relaxing and then the residents loved the end of the session doing the 'funky chicken' move, along with upbeat music. All left the room smiling and happy.

The whole package at Llys Herbert is excellent. The team who look after Dad are exceptional. Their attention to detail, kindness and compassion is really superb. The culinary team are very accommodating and the chef offers tasty and delicious meals which are presented as if you're at a 5-star hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with all of the modern needs and offer a relaxing space to rest. The facilities are plentiful and all are presented in a high-quality way. Dad has called it a 'happy place' where nothing is too much trouble. The Llys Herbert family go above and beyond to ensure it's a caring, positive and welcoming home from home. Thanks Llys Herbert, we know Dad is in great hands.

Dad was taken to hospital, resulting in our decision that the time had come for him to move into a care home. As this was unexpected, we needed to do this quickly and with very little knowledge of care homes. The whole team at Llys Herbert were amazing in doing everything they could to expedite the process and reassure us during such a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble in making the transition as smooth as possible. The home has everything he needs for a comfortable and happy life going forward. But, most importantly, he is being looked after by a professional and caring team.

100% happy with Llys Herbert. Beautiful place, with gorgeous homely rooms. Fantastic staff, all so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Dad was there for four weeks, and we were very sad when he had to leave. Loved watching him join in with all the activities and enjoying all the lovely meals he was given. Whoever stays here won’t be disappointed in any way.

My wife has been a resident at Llys Herbert since early December 2023, and we have nothing but the highest praise for the care she’s receiving. She has a comfortably furnished room with excellent en-suite facilities. The residents’ lounge has been thoughtfully designed, and the dining room is a pleasure to eat in. I joined her and the other residents on Christmas Day, and we were treated to a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable meal, beautifully prepared and served. It was her birthday a few weeks later, and the chef baked a superb cake, especially for her. We were joined by close family members who made the day. Moving into a care home is a big step, and any apprehension we may have had was soon allayed after experiencing the very caring manner in which the staff look after residents. Llys Herbert is a care home where the staff really do care, and it shows.

Completely exceeds expectations. Llys Herbert has given my mother-in-law a new lease on life. She is happier and healthier. I haven’t seen her smile so much in years (and she has a beautiful smile).

Excellent care and support from a lovely team, who are all very friendly and kind. The food is really good. Mum has been here a month now and is very happy and enjoys all the activities. It’s so lovely to see her enjoying life again.

I needed short-term respite care for my father before Christmas. I feel very lucky to have found LLys Herbert. The home is beautiful, more like a five-star luxury hotel than a care home. The staff are excellent, happy and upbeat and most importantly, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Visitors are made very welcome and encouraged to use the beautiful lounge areas, with refreshments on tap. There is a cinema and hair salon. The food is excellent and well-presented. I cannot recommend highly enough for your loved ones.

What a wonderful experience we had on Christmas Day, the staff really went above and beyond to ensure Mum had a good day. The food at Llys Herbert is very good and is a big part of the experience here.

Our father was at Llys Herbert for the last months of his life. We were hugely impressed both by the home itself and especially the care and kindness that the staff gave Dad. Without exception, everyone showed him the kind of consideration that we hoped we could find, giving us great comfort and reassurance when we could not be around. The staff went out of their way to find out about the person Dad was and had been, his interests and achievements, helping him to adjust to what must have seemed a big change in his life. We were particularly grateful for the way that the staff afforded Dad the dignity and respect he deserved at the end of his life. In our family's experience, Llys Herbert provides a very welcoming, comfortable and safe environment for residents and visitors with a variety of stimulating activities and excellent food.

Mum (92) stayed for respite care in September 2023. Llys Herbert is an amazing care home with beautifully appointed rooms and a range of facilities that provide comfort and a real touch of luxury. Without exception, the staff were friendly, caring and totally committed to making Mum feel welcome, safe and at home. They also went the extra mile to make family members feel welcome. Can't thank everyone enough!

My aunt moved into Llys Herbert when it was brand new. The facilities are excellent, with lovely rooms and common areas. But the absolute best thing is the staff - they have been wonderful. Caring and responsive. Within a week of moving in my aunt (who is 100, and elected to move in here without any prompting, having been living independently in her own home until she moved in) announced that she was here for good! That says it all.

Mum (95) moved into this beautiful, modern and caring home a couple of weeks ago following a stay in hospital after a fall. We as a family cannot praise enough the welcome and care she is receiving. They are having the official opening on 5th October and my wife and I are looking forward to going along. If you are looking for care for a loved one go along to the opening day and see for yourselves. Well done to all the team at Llys Herbert.

Wow where do I start, the manager is so kind-hearted, easy to talk to, she was simply amazing then you got my friend so lively, always smiling and made me feel welcome, I met a few of the team too, there was a girl in a pink uniform quite shy but she still had a chat with me, there was a lady in a green uniform full of energy she came over and really politely asked if we would like a drink and a cake, we chatted for a bit and the whole time we were just laughing I think she had brown hair not sure my eyesight isn’t the best, then we met a lovely handsome man in pink uniform I wanted to take him home. This care home thinks about everyone and the staff there are very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. When we were walking around there was it’s if singing and laughter, keep up the grand job.
