View Full Details of Beulah Vista Care HomeMy mum has been a resident for a over a year and I'm extremely happy with the support and care provided for my mum from the Willow team. They are always kind and loving when dealing with my mum. I want to give a special mention to three members of staff, in particular. Finally, I want to give a big thanks to the home manager for taking the time and being so accommodating with us when we were initially trying to get Mum into your amazing care home.
I am so pleased with the care that my mother is receiving at Beulah Vista. The staff are very professional, warm and kind. The staff have a good understanding of dementia and how to support service users with dementia. Mum is always well cared for, the home is in fantastic condition, there are daily activities and the meals smell delicious. I would highly recommend this place!
We looked at several care homes for Mum and in addition, I have seen three others where a friend has been a resident. Without doubt, Beulah Vista Care Home is the best I have seen and we feel confident that Mum is receiving excellent care there. Beulah Vista feels like a hotel rather than a care home and the staff are very motivated to provide high quality care. Mum always said she never wanted to go into a care home and when the time came it was very difficult because although we knew it was in her best interests, it was hard to go against her wishes. But we needn't have worried because within two weeks, she had settled and Beulah Vista had become her new home. I believe the speed of the transformation is testament to the high quality of the care she has received. If only all care homes could be like this.
My friend was admitted on a temporary basis, as her husband was ill. She had dementia and significant complicated medical conditions. She settled in very well from the start. The staff were kind, thoughtful and attentive and I was very impressed with the trained nursing staff who knew her and adjusted times of her meals and medication if her sleep pattern was disturbed. As a frequent visitor, I will never forget the patience and kindness exhibited by the carers and support staff if a resident was being tiresome and difficult. My friend's husband died most unexpectedly, the staff, from top management down, were full of empathy and kindness. The food is absolutely excellent and a generous variety at all mealtimes. There are many activities, I attended some with her. She died a few days ago. She recieved very good end-of-life care which was very important to me, as I am a nurse and was a palliative care nurse latterly. I would recommend this care home to everybody.
My mother was a resident at Beulah Vista Care Home for the four months up to her death in January 2025. She had been for respite care at other care homes in the past but none came anywhere near the quality of Beulah Vista. The environment is, of course, lovely and the building a very high quality however the most significant contributor to her happiness was the incredible staff. The staff were so kind to the residents and helped and engaged whenever possible. On my frequent visits, my mother would often comment about how nice everyone was and what a great place it was. The activities were also fantastic, she particularly liked the opera singer who came in to do a show tunes concert every few weeks/months. She couldn't have been in a nicer environment to spend the last months of her life.
I cannot speak highly enough of Beulah Vista Care Home, the facilities and most importantly, the staff. From the very first telephone conversation, I was confident that this was the right place for Mum. The facility feels like a small boutique hotel, it is a new building that is clean and comfortable. The food is excellent and residents have quite the selection to choose from. But what makes Beulah Vista stand out is the management team, the carers and the support staff. At all times I have felt confident that every member of staff that my mum comes in contact with is 100% committed to her well-being and her feeling safe and at home. It is a great relief to know that she is so well taken care of.
I am happy with the attention I receive, the staff, food, everyone is very kind and I feel well looked after.
I wish to commend the care and compassionate nature excelling in her role as deputy care manager. She has given such personal consideration of the pain I am experiencing, continuing with ringing the doctor to comply further treatment of pain relief of a very painful and multiple left shoulder break of the bones. Her help and kindness have helped assist me to feel more positive and accept my unfortunate position of recovery which will be slow.
It was a massive decision to move my mum into a care home. She had lived all her life in Wales where she had lived alone and independently for over thirty years after my dad died. After she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she began to struggle on her own. I am an only child and had no other family left in Wales. I knew that moving her near me would be the best thing to keep her safe and cared for and where I could visit frequently with her grandchildren. I knew my mum wouldn't settle somewhere that felt like a standard care home. Beulah Vista Care Home is nothing like a standard care home. It feels luxurious, is very clean and is furnished beautifully. For me, though, what stands out is the care and empathy of all the staff from the minute you enter. It must be a difficult job but I have no worries that they are looking after my mum. Watching her hold hands with her fellow residents during a sing-along was a highlight and showed me she was really settling in.
Superb home, excellent care and surpassed our expectations. Beulah Vista Care Home ticked every box for the modern facilities, food, homely, luxurious rooms and communal areas and most importantly, the care given by all the friendly, attentive staff at every level. My mother stayed for one month respite care and I would have no hesitation about her becoming a permanent resident if needed in the future. Initially, I felt guilty and anxious about placing her in respite care but that changed to feeling guilty about bringing her home! Mum has dementia and is nonverbal but I can see that she was happy, relaxed, incredibly well cared for and in fact, thrived during her stay. Beulah Vista most definitely has it right!
After a fall at home, my mother required specialist care. The nursing home sent a member of staff to the hospital to learn how to manage her neck brace so accelerating her departure from the ward. Family is at the core of Beulah Vista Care Home and are encouraged to visit whenever and as often as possible. There are monthly meetings for the families of residents to raise issues and suggest improvements. Mum was encouraged to treat Beulah as her new home and was treated with respect, friendliness and professionalism throughout. We really couldn't have asked for more.
We couldn't have found a more perfect, attentive and caring home for Dad's last months. It is a very special place. There is always a warm welcome and the staff are genuinely passionate about making a difference with every interaction with residents, family and friends. Every detail was considered to ensure my dad's transition into the home was as comfortable, reassuring and gentle as possible for someone with late-stage Alzheimer's. He formed close and trusting relationships with carers and the nurses who were always kind, attentive and knowledgeable. Having visited several care homes, Beulah Vista Care Home is in another league. While the clean, homely environment is excellent, what stands out most is the warmth of the people who work there. The management really looks after their staff and has high standards for excellent care at all times, and this is reflected in a team who are outstanding. Their kindness, empathy and support made such a difference to our family when he sadly passed.
An amazing, exceptional home with compassion and respect at the heart of everything they do. My mother was cared for towards the end of her dementia journey here with kindness and tenderness. The staff all wanted to know about the person she used to be as well as who she was then and treated her with gentleness and courtesy. The nurses are thorough, attentive and professional. The building and facilities are extremely well-appointed and the activity schedule is brilliant. I always enjoyed visiting as the staff were so friendly and welcoming from the reception onwards. I have spent several years visiting people in other homes in South London and the standard of care at Beulah Vista Care Home, the physical environment and the empathic and helpful approach of the management are all a cut above those in any other care home I have experienced. The staff supported my siblings and myself with compassion and sensitivity when my mother was sadly at end-of-life. Strongly recommend.
We recently took the difficult decision to move our father into a care home and had no idea how to go about it. The manager and the rest of the team have been absolutely wonderful. They always make time to talk to you, and their knowledge is very reassuring. The nurses have a wonderful way with my father, and he has grown very fond of them. The home itself is very smart, luxurious and, more importantly, very clean. Moving a parent into care is a very hard thing to do, but the staff and especially one lady who has provided wonderful support, and I really can’t thank them enough.
I would like to thank Beulah Vista Care Home in so many ways for the fantastic experience I had when I was in respite care. I came from there a different person and would have loved to stay longer. I really enjoyed everything that went on. Everything was very well managed and it was a tremendous experience. Everything at Beulah Vista was superb – accommodation, entertainment and the company in the dining room and lounge was excellent and plentiful. I would never have doubts about returning. It gets 10 out of 10!
Since moving to Beulah Vista in October, due to deteriorating health conditions, my mother has received excellent nursing care - the staff really do go over and above in their level of attention and kindness. Understandably, Mum was very upset to leave her treasured home, however, all the staff have welcomed her and taken time to make her feel as comfortable as possible. The home is immaculate and so well managed, it is so comforting to know she has such excellent provision at this stage of her life.
It was complete luck to find Beulah Vista Care Home on a google search. When we first walked through the doors to the beautiful reception and lounge area we were very impressed! More like a hotel than the usual care home setting. The staff were all so very welcoming and could not do enough to make Mum feel comfortable, with a choice of bedroom which was altered to accommodate her. It is not an easy decision to have to move a relative from their own home to a care home but we knew Beulah Vista was the right choice. The last few months have proved the staff to be exceptionally caring and considerate. Mum's dementia means she is often unsettled but we are kept informed on a regular basis. Various activities are on offer to keep residents entertained and the food is a very good standard. The only improvement would be if there was a minibus to take residents out although I understand this may be something that is being considered.
It’s the little things that go a long way. My aunt loves a set TV channel - it’s kind of her go to, feel comfortable and happy. I had asked if they could help her find it and set it up, and the following week or was set and ready for her. The home itself is beautiful and so well laid out; just as importantly, the staff are warm and friendly, and the residents are autonomous. We are very fortunate to be able to be here.
Beulah Vista has achieved the perfect mix of great staff and facilities, resulting in the delivery of great care that is personalised to the needs of the individual residents. It is a calm, exceptionally clean place and a real pleasure to visit. Best of all is the commitment of the manager and team to canvass opinions from visitors in order to maintain the high standard already set. I am very impressed with every aspect of Beulah Vista.
Beulah Vista Care Home provides outstanding care for its residents. Initially, as a family, we were very nervous about placing Mum in a care home, however, it has been the best decision. Mum is happy and well, there is a real family feel. My family and I have been made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this care home as it provides the care and dignity that everyone should receive when they reach this stage in their life.
