View Full Details of Dearbourne ManorMum moved to Dearbourne Manor in February 2024 following a long hospital stay after a massive stroke. From the day mum moved in she was treated with loving care from both medical and care teams. Her face would light up and smile when she saw them come into her room The management staff and reception team cared about us as a family as well. Mum's last 8 months of her life were genuinely the best they could have been under the circumstances and we could not thank Dearbourne enough for that. Truly a first-class facility.
Dearbourne Manor took so much care of my beautiful mum in the last months of her life. It's a wonderful care home. The staff were all kind, loving and extremely attentive. Sadly mum had dementia and sometimes she could be quite 'hard work' for the carers but each and every one of them was simply kind and caring towards her. I highly recommend Dearbourne Manor as a wonderful care facility. Simply amazing!
Couldn't be happier with Dearbourne Manor. So confident my sister is in good hands. The only concern was it's a shame Dearbourne has not got transport for the residents.
I've worked in many care homes as a mobile hairdresser so when we started looking for Mum to go into one I was delighted to find Dearbourne Manor. Its staff are friendly and helpful. The home is really clean and never smelly, which has been a problem when I've gone into other homes. My one concern is the food, I can only speak on behalf of Mum but she really doesn't enjoy it. When I've been there and the food arrives she's not happy, it's not hot enough and there seems lots of spicy food which is definitely not for Mum. On a positive, she loves the homemade soups.
My parents have both been here for a while - since opening. They have received the best care I could ever hoped for. The staff are kind and respectful and do an amazing job. I have nothing but a huge appreciation for them all for how they care for my parents. We, as a family, could not wish for them to be in a better place. So grateful. We are all so pleased to know they are safe and looked after and also such wonderful surroundings. Thank you all.
I've had a very good experience with the care home. Any questions I've asked have always been answered honestly. Also any concerns I've had about my husband's care have always been acted upon, e.g. doctor's visits etc. The staff have always been very kind and caring.
The employees at Dearbourne Manor, without exception, cared for our mother until the 8th of September 2023. The kindness, patience and compassion shown to her during her fourteen-month stay was exceptional and we could not have wished for a better place for her to be. We cannot thank them enough for their care.
My father stayed here from February to April 2023. The staff were always friendly and polite, as was the manager. This is a purpose-built brand-new care home. The rooms and en-suite bathrooms are huge. Own toilet, sinks and shower area in each en-suite. The decoration and furnishings are stunning. The garden area is amazing, beautifully landscaped with water features and beautiful planting. I could sit out there all summer. The food is a high standard. This place is very new, so people have not really discovered it yet. In twelve months it will probably have a very long waiting list.
This is a fantastic care home. It has every possible facility. The staff are attentive and caring. What more could I ask for?
My grandmother arrived at Dearbourne Manor a week ago and is here for three weeks of respite. I have been hugely impressed with the brilliant facilities, the food and most importantly the staff. Everyone is kind, friendly, responsive and efficient. I am so pleased we chose Dearbourne Manor and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
We have recently moved our mother to Dearbourne Manor as she was no longer capable of looking after herself. She had become depressed and prone to panic attacks. Thanks to the efforts of all the staff at Dearbourne Manor, she has become calmer and much happier. Initially, we had booked a short-term placement but as a family, we quickly came to the conclusion that this was a good place for our mum! If you are looking for a good care home for a loved one I would recommend that you book a visit.
We are delighted to have found Dearbourne Manor. The care received for my brother-in-law is quite outstanding. The staff are compassionate, caring and always informative. The care home manager has been exemplary.
The home is always clean, bright and fresh smelling. The staff are always caring and friendly and treat my friend (who has dementia) with the same love and respect that shows a true love of caring for others. His room is always immaculate as is his appearance.
So pleased I picked Dearbourne Manor Care Home. From the minute you walk in the door you're greeted with a friendly smile. From the girls in reception, the cleaners, the carers, managers etc. everyone is so kind. I really appreciate the fact the staff have taken the time to get to know Dad, enabling him to settle in very quickly. I couldn't be happier with Dearbourne Manor and would highly recommend.
Excellent care home with lovely rooms and facilities. My mum was there for 3 months after her previous care home closed, the staff were all very caring and kind and nothing was too much for them. My mum passed away recently and during the last couple of weeks of her life nothing was too much for the staff and they looked after Mum and the family brilliantly.
My nan had been a resident here for the last 3 months or so. She was in the last stages of dementia. On every visit she was always clean and well presented, her room also was always clean. Whilst visiting her carers would always pop in and check that we were all ok and asked if we needed anything. Carers were also polite and showed a genuine warmth towards my nan, the care she received was first class. Sadly she passed away the team were kind and respectful to all of us and allowed us as much time that we needed to be with her after she passed. I would highly recommend Dearbourne Manor to everyone. A big thank you to all the staff at Dearbourne Manor.
We realised our dad could no longer live on his own and needed somewhere that would be home from home but with twenty-four-hour care. Dearbourne Manor has provided this for him and we couldn't be happier, they really have thought of everything. The staff are always very welcoming and so lovely with Dad, which has helped him to settle in really well. His room and ensuite are a generous size so it is easy for Dad to move around. He is safe and being looked after which is very reassuring for us as a family. The food is lovely and Dad is enjoying the variety it has to offer. Dad being happy and cared for is our main priority and we are so pleased that we chose Dearbourne.
Wow, coming out of the hospital to this nursing home has been outstanding, from managers to carers - all 100%. Everyone is 100%. I feel very welcome, nothing is too much for everyone in here. They even will help with laundry and shopping. I am so happy.
Following my fall in April this year, I had the good fortune to be admitted to Dearbourne Manor where the care, accommodation and food have been first class. The most important personnel are the carers, most of who are non-English but whose care and consideration for all residents is of the highest order. With their care and understanding, I have made increasing progress and gained strength from day to day. One particular problem has been my catheter but the staff are fully conversant with the care for this specific problem. I do not take part in the arranged activities so cannot comment on this. The management is also of the highest order and being in Dearbourne gives me the greatest confidence in my ultimate return to reasonable health of a 96-year-old. I am a retired surgeon and fully acquainted with the needs and of the sick and vulnerable.
