Having visited other local care homes, I believe Lovell Place to be an extremely well run care home. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very caring and compassionate The facilities and activities are first class.

Everyone friendly and welcoming. Mum feels safe, secure and very happy and well support here. I have full confidence in the care she is receiving. We all enjoy visiting her in the home. Really lovely surrounds, staff and comfortable facilities. Have highly recommended the home to friends and family and will continue to do so.

From his first day at Lovell Place Care Home, Dad was made to feel welcome. He was greeted with a box of biscuits and a pot plant for his room, which was large, clean and airy. The en-suite bathroom was big enough for the array of hoists that were needed. The communal areas are clean, fresh and brightly decorated according to the season. The staff are wonderful, showing endless patience. They are always kind, greeting everyone with a warm smile. Lovell gives the care needed from residents to the final days, increasing the level of nursing as needed.

My mother has been at Lovell Place for 7 months now and I's like to say what a wonderful home it is. It is such a relief to know she is safe and being well cared for. The building itself, is bright and airy - especially as it is purpose built. Her room is lovely and we have made it very homely - we were able to bring some of her own furniture. The staff are fantastic - always got time and always cherry despite being in a difficult job. You always get a warm welcome and I can whole heartedly recommend Lovell Place.

We would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff and we mean every single member, for all the care and compassion shown to our mum during her two years at Lovell Place Care Home. It is a hard decision for anybody having to send a loved one into any care sector but please be assured this care home is one of the best. Mum had a social life again after moving to Lovell Place not only with other residents but she classed all the homemakers, nurses as her friends. During her final week the care and compassion was not only there for mum but for us as a family. Providing us with meals, drinks and checking in on us at every opportunity. She proved to be a very strong lady and we know that was because of you all. You all know how hard you work and how dedicated you are. Anyone thinking of looking for a care home should look no further. The staff excel in there roles. You should all be very proud of yourselves each and everyone. You will always be a big part of our lives. Thank you.

My mum came into Lovell Place in September for 3 weeks of respite. The staff were all lovely, happy, professional and very friendly. My mum was very happy and would go again. We would definitely recommend this care home and will definitely be using it again for my mum and my dad when needed. Very well done and thank you Lovell Place.

Lovell PLace is amazing. So clean, very welcoming, I attended the ladies night and what an amazing evening. I have not enjoyed an evening for so long. So much effort was put into this event. I would thinks residents, family and friends had an evening to remember.

My mun aged 90 moved into Lovell Place after a bad fall. Previously she had been living independently. The staff have been absolutely brilliant in helping her understand her new situation and settling in. Her room is large with a lovely view. The staff are lovely and are always smiling or laughing. It is a happy place.

We are both constantly impressed by the welcoming and friendly demeanour of the staff, the comfortable ambience within the building, the excellence of the accommodation and care provided. The quality and diversity of the food/menus and the range of activities provided, noting that all characters and personalities are catered for. We would both have no hesitation in recommending Lovell Place to those who are looking for a care home.

Lovell Place has provided excellent care for Dad. he has built lovely connections with the care staff and they always show compassion in their interactions with Dad. The activity schedule is varied and caters for all tastes. The openness and inclusivity for families to join in is brilliant. As a family, we take comfort that Dad is somewhere that puts individual residents' needs at the heart of what they do. I have no reservations in recommending Lovell Place as a quality care home.

I was impressed how quickly my transfer to Lovell Place was arranged - my having fallen at home and spending over a week in hospital. During my respite stay, I have found all the attention I have received to be first class. I arrived feeling anxious, in pain and sleep-deprived. The homemakers' welcoming and homely environment have been key to my regaining strength and confidence. All the staff at all levels genuinely care about me and have supported all aspects of my well-being.

My dear mum was cared for with compassion, dignity, kindness and empathy during a five-week respite stay following hospital discharge. My family and I have found all the homemakers to be incredibly kind and all go the extra mile to make Mum feel at home and we are particularly impressed by the way they have taken time to get to know Mum as the person she is, providing reassurance, encouragement and warmth. The home itself is bright, airy and cheerful. Reception and admin personnel are all incredibly friendly and helpful. All are a credit to Lovell Place.

We, as a family, cannot praise and thank the staff at Lovell Place enough for the outstanding care and attention given to our Cousin for almost six months. Kindness and understanding were also constantly shown to all my family when visiting or telephoning. We would not hesitate to recommend Lovell Place Care Home to anyone.

I spent twenty-one days respite care in Lovell Place Care Home following a visit to hospital and a different care home after a fall at home in early January. I found Lovell Place very welcoming and I was taken good care of for my short visit. I was given confidence and encouragement every day. I was well-fed and slept well too. I would like to have seen more emphasis put on exercises to aid my recovery.

We, as a family, are extremely satisfied with this lovely place. I can't believe how lucky we are to have my mum stay here, it's like a five-star hotel. We would recommend this home to everyone. Caring, professional, attentive and sheer luxury. Nothing is too much trouble. In one word, fantastic! Many thanks to the lovely staff.

Lovell Place has transformed my dad from a very sad, introverted widower back to the happy, hilarious and confident person that he was before my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and subsequently passed away. He came to the home lonely and working on his mobility having fallen at home and broken his hip. Today he is happier than I have known him be for many years. The care and encouragement he has received from all members of the team is exemplary. Each homemaker that cares for him is respectful but friendly making him feel very welcome and cared for and about. The nursing staff are on the ball with all aspects of his medical requirements and access to GP’s has been brilliant - they have a good relationship with a local surgery who visit every week. Running out of space but every single member of staff that we have dealt with has been phenomenal. Thank you all so much for being brilliant.

What an amazing team in Lovell Place! The team's dedication, professionalism and care is excellent. They have really made a positive difference to my father-in-law's well-being. The building is excellent and always clean and tidy.
