View Full Details of Weymouth Manor Residential & Nursing Care HomeWhat a lovely care home this is. And how the residents are well looked after, the food choices are excellent, and all the staff are very helpful.
We were extremely impressed with the standard of care at Weymouth Manor. The staff were always kind and compassionate, and were caring towards both residents and visitors. The environment was light, clean and comfortable.
All staff that looked after my 92-year-old father-in-law in the eight months he was there were caring and looked after him with respect. He died with dignity and this has been a great comfort to his family. I cannot recommend this care home highly enough.
Staff are all lovely, caring and welcoming and supportive. The home is a fantastic alternative for someone who cannot live on their own. My mum now has company and structure every day and there is something to join in with if she wants to. She is safe.
I was made welcome and comfortable very quickly. There were 11 residents in situe at the time.
What a lovely care setting for our grandad. The staff work conscientiously to ensure that Grandad receives the very best care, always offered with care and dignity. They continue to keep Grandad state and protect him from harm and have put rigorous safeguarding measures in place. Grandad feels safe and secure and loves the staff, food and wide range of activities offered. They are all truly amazing.
A grand hotel experience. Excellent Food; soup and puddings were unbeatable. All staff are extremely helpful and keen to please.
My husband has been made very welcome, the staff are wonderful. The care home is beautiful, facilities excellent and the gardens are lovely. The food has been first class and he will be very happy to return for another respite later in the year!
Accommodation is excellent and all the staff looked after me very well. The facilities are good and well thought out, all needs are catered for for my respite care. My only criticism was the food was not to my taste and for me bland. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home
Excellent level of care and service given. Great interaction from all staff. Great daily activities and events. A real home from home.
My overall stay was satisfactory in a lovely room. The meals were excellent. The staff were good, however, response times to the 'call alert' was sometimes lengthy and sometimes exacerbated by having to wait for the availability of transfer aids. I noticed an inconsistency in organising routines from the management. It was my choice not to take part in the organised activities.
Mum recently enjoyed a two week respite break at Weymouth Manor. It was outstanding in every way. The staff were friendly and helpful and always had a smile and kind, supportive words for my mum. She very much enjoyed the activities, including an excursion to Weymouth seafront, and socialising with other residents. Standards of safety and cleanliness were very high, and all processes and procedures are professionally managed. Of all the care homes I have visited on my mum's behalf (more than a dozen) this comes first! I would have no hesitation in recommending Weymouth Manor to other families who wish their relatives the best care possible.
My sister is 83 years old and over the last two years experienced the loss of her husband and also very poor health requiring moving to a care home and numerous hospital stays. We were desperate to find a care home which would offer all the help she needed but equally real care, compassion, stimulation and 'home from home'. A huge quest but we found it! Weymouth Manor Care Home is not only beautiful but the staff are also too. Nothing is too much trouble. From the moment you step through the doors, you are welcomed with smiles and laughter. The care is amazing and my sister is happy at last and so are we. Thank you to all the dedicated, caring and wonderful staff.
From the very first visit to look around Weymouth Manor we knew this was to be his future home. Every member of the team have been warm, welcoming, caring, engaging and friendly. there is a very special atmosphere. From the moment he arrived, he settled in and loves it. He is interacting, enjoying his meals and engaging in all the activities, especially the gardening. All the staff were involved in the planning and supporting us to plan the perfect special 100th birthday party which will never be forgotten by family and friends - he is so happy here.
The admission process could not be faulted. All the staff involved were extremely helpful and supportive and nothing was too much trouble. Any questions were answered fully. Staff were very knowledgeable and responded very quickly even at weekends and outside normal working hours. On my father's arrival, he was made so welcome and all the staff were so supportive and helpful - nothing, no matter how small was too much trouble. He now feels very much at home here. It is outstanding here. Thank you to all the staff.
Mum moved into Weymouth Manor Residential Care Home in January 2023, she absolutely loves it here as the staff are so friendly with a nothing is too much trouble attitude! This makes all the family relaxed and less worried, knowing that she is so well looked after. With regards to her room, it is modern, big and her wet room is great. The food is also fantastic.
The standard of care, kindness and support from all members of staff to residents and visitors is outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. The management should be very proud of each and every one of their staff.
I think it is very, very good here. The staff are so lovely. The food is lovely, I can't fault it. I like looking out of the window at the rabbits running around in the field. Weymouth Manor is a lovely place.
The care and support I feel Weymouth Manor provide to my mother are so unbelievably wonderful. From the moment we approached them through to my mum taking up residency, their attention to detail, forethought, compassion and practicalities shone through and continue to do so. I always feel that the staff go above and beyond to consider every aspect of the people they are supporting and offer a tailored and individual service that I feel you’d be hard pushed to find in other local settings. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. I have found all of the staff to be kind, courteous, considerate and above all really friendly and so accommodating. All of my mum's changing needs are quickly noticed, established, and reported, and plans of action are put into place giving us, her family members, peace of mind that she’s in good safe hands and truly being well cared for. I can always approach staff members with questions or requests, and they, in turn, are always updating you, which is just so fabulous. Bravo.
I have been really impressed by the staff, level of care and the facilities provided. I was very apprehensive about the transfer of my father from another care home but I need not have worried. The staff have all been kind, patient and very supportive. They have taken the time to get to know his ways and find the best ways to support his individual needs. I have been impressed with the support and care provided and my father is already looking much better than he was prior to the transfer. It is very reassuring to know that he is safe and well looked after.
