Lovely happy place. Proper home for residents to enjoy there later years.

I have had my father in Mayfield for a month and found the home, the staff absolutely brilliant. All staff are very friendly very helpful and nothing is to much trouble.

My Mum moved into The Mayfield in Aug 2024. To leave her home and move into care home accommodation is very daunting but all the staff have gone out of their way to make The Mayfield her new 'home'. She loves the staff and whenever I visit she and they are laughing - she's made genuine friends and is safe and secure. I'd recommend The Mayfield to my friends - Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thank you.

I feel most fortunate to have found such a first-class care home, so near to my residence, to look after my wife. It gives me great comfort.

My mum has settled in the home now. She is eating well and there are plenty of things to hold her interest. It is a shame that to date two hearing aids have gone missing.

The management and staff were attentive and supportive to my mam and myself. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and facilities were of the highest quality. The room was of high standard. The food menus well planned and of excellent quality.

A very warm, kind and caring place to visit. The staff do a brilliant job with taking care of the residents, keeping everything clean and tidy and making lovely meals.

This was my first experience in The Mayfield, was staying for 2 weeks respite care after hospital. I was very pleased with everything I found there. I was particularly pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and the delicious food served.

Mum has recently moved to The Mayfield and received a very warm welcome from both staff and fellow residents. The facilities are excellent and the staff are kind, considerate and caring. Mum has had no problems settling down, it's as if she has been part of the Mayfield family for years! Many thanks.

This was a wonderful post-operation respite time. The care, attention and service was amazing. I cannot think that I could have been better cared for, and service given. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and supportive.

I cannot praise the staff enough. Always friendly, time for a chat and showing enormous respect and care towards my husband. This home fully deserves the high recognition it has earned. Love the idea of being invited to the occasional meal! Many, many thanks to all.

All aspects of my husband's care whilst in The Mayfield have been exceptional. Support for me has been amazing, I can stay with him as long as I like, which I am truly grateful for. All the staff on every level are excellent. They are all so kind and caring.

I genuinely could not write enough to say how grateful we all are as a family to see Mum so well cared for and looked after. She is safe, clean and always looks in good health. The staff, without exception, are an amazing group of people.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent care. Residents are treated with respect. Spacious corridors, light, airy building and tastefully furnished. We're delighted with my friend's improvement in health since she moved in.

My grandad has recently spent time in The Mayfield Care Home and I was blown away by the exceptional service and fantastic staff. Every single member of staff is professional, and polite and went above and beyond to make his stay there the best it could be. Highly recommend!
