View Full Details of Wilmslow Manor Care CentreMum had a struggle settling in. The staff have been so supportive and caring for both of us, gently encouraging her and assuring me. The Manor is beautiful. The staff so welcoming and kind. Mum is doing so much better now. Thank you.
Very welcoming atmosphere. All the staff are very professional and make sure the care is first class for the residents. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The home has alot of very good facilities I have been visiting a freind who is very happy there and feels at home.
After my independent father of 92 was taken ill after Christmas he was in hospital and then sent to The Manor Care Home Wilmslow, for rehabilitation. He was treated with total respect and care, they helped to build up his confidence and reassured him. All of the care workers work very hard to make this care home the wonderful place that it is. I would 100% recommend this care home for anybody who is considering care for a loved one.
This place is amazing! And I have experience of other care homes which also try hard to do a good job but this place is just on another level! My father has been a resident on the dementia floor for 19 months and I visit him once or twice a week so I know how this place works very well now. The carers are extremely good, not only are they highly professional and qualified but they are deeply empathetic. Just one example: I often see them holding residents hands and stroking their backs to show the residence love as well as professional care. The food is first class, which is very important - meals are definitely something to look forward to for residence and visitors are like! The entertainment team are also fantastic! They organise simple inclusive events that go down very well. Finally, on the 16th of February 2025 the catering team and carers organised a beautiful 94th birthday party for my dad which will live in my memory always.
My uncle is very happy and healthy at Wilmslow Manor. I'd highly recommend it! They have gone the extra mile to find him small jobs and responsibilities which helps him keep his mind active which is very important for his neurodivergence traits.
I was naturally worried when my brother was admitted into care at Wilmslow Manor but have been delighted with everything they have done. He is not only cared for but given friendly help when needed and encouraged to take part in the many activities they provide - he's been doing activities he's probably never done before and he is always telling me about what's been happening or where they have been on a visit. The staff are very welcoming when I visit and seem genuinely friendly and happy in their work. The private bedrooms and public rooms are all very clean and well-kept. I know he enjoys the food very much! When my brother had some health issues, as can happen as people get older, the care they showed was excellent and the liaison with the local GP has been very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wilmslow Manor to anyone looking for a friendly and safe place for any family members who need care. I would have no hesitation about going there myself!
Wilmslow Manor Care Centre has proven to be the perfect place for my brother. I can only give it a 10/10 review for the quality of care, commitment to care from the staff and management alike. We did look at other care homes in the area and were very concerned trying to find the right one. We were so pleased to find what is the perfect home. It is a joy to come and visit, and feel confident that the best care and attention is being given. Many people like us have concerns to have a family member move into care, but Wilmslow Manor have given us all a sense of relief that we did not expect. Well done to the home manager and the team!
Wilmslow Manor has such a warm, caring environment with wonderful staff who always greet you with a smile whether you are a resident or a visitor. Mum chose to stay on at Wilmslow Manor after staying there for respite, after being discharged from hospital. She didn't want to look at any other care home in the area as she was impressed with the level of care she was receiving. Her room is large and bright with direct access to the garden outside as she is on the ground floor. Her previous room on a different floor for respite, was equally large and comfortable. I would certainly recommend looking at Wilmslow Manor if anyone is considering a care home for their loved ones.
I did review the home in 2023 and my views remain the same. My wife has been a resident since May 2023. The care could not have been better. It is not easy to look after her because of her progressive Alzheimer's disease, but the personal care and help she has had has been exemplary. It is very much more than a care home at Wilmslow Manor. The residents are very much treated as they would be in their own home. They look at the individual needs of each resident. The staff are extremely kind and caring. I'm always made to feel extremely welcome when I visit as are my family and my wife's friends.
Lovely caring staff who have really helped to settle my husband into the home. They always do their best to make sure his care is of the highest standard. The facilities are very good - stylish decor, beautiful garden.
This really is a fantastic care home and exceptionally clean. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome when we visit. My Mother-in-Law is happy and very well looked after, which means my wife is happy. Win-Win.
So much better than we expected. We were very worried about putting my in-law into a home. But we are delighted with the care provided. Staff lovely and very friendly and competent. Couldn't want for more and my in-law seems very happy and settled.
My father has been a resident at Wilmslow Manor for over 2 years now. I feel he is very well looked after, with care, compassion, patience, dignity and respect. There are some absolutely wonderful staff there who have become like family and it's really comforting to know they don't use agency staff. Dad has a complex cocktail of medical diagnoses and his needs are well met. He's clean and well fed, I don't worry about him like I used to - as the staff keep me fully informed of any problems that occur. The food is good and, although Dad prefers to mostly eat in his room, the dining room is very nice with plenty of space. Within the dining room is a well-equipped kitchen where visitors can make themselves a drink, although staff are very kind and quite often offer to bring me a drink, which is very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone in need of care services.
We have always found the staff to be very helpful and kind. Although Mum has had difficulty settling in, she has found it very reassuring to have friendly staff that she can ask for help. The care home is very clean and welcoming. You can always ask for a cup of tea or whatever is needed.
Wilmslow Manor is such an outstanding care home! My Mum really is in the best place and I'm lucky to be able to visit her several times a week. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Knowing that she receives excellent care, within a 'family' environment where she feels very much loved means everything to me! Forever grateful.
The home handled the transfer of my mum from just needing dementia care to the nursing floor in a very quick and efficient way. The care given to Mum has been excellent, all the staff have been very friendly and handled Mum in a kind and caring way. It was really good to see the staff from the dementia floor coming upstairs to visit Mum. I am sure in her own way she will have really appreciated seeing them.
We were all worried about Dad moving into a home, but can honestly say the experience for us and for Dad has been amazing. The home itself is immaculate, modern and doesn't look or feel like a stereotypical home. All of the staff are amazing and so so friendly. I've told everyone who asks that we couldn't have hoped for anything better. I'd quite like to move in myself!
Mum is well looked after by staff at Wilmslow Manor and she is treated as if she were their own mother. Mum is comfortable and settled and absolutely loves her spacious room. I am confident that staff provide the best care for her.
Wilmslow Manor is outstanding in my opinion. My mum, having been in previous care homes, there really is no comparison. Wilmslow Manor never fail to go above and beyond for the care of our precious family members and for that I will be eternally grateful. They are amazing.
Fabulous care home. Such super friendly staff and lovely rooms, very spacious and lovely large ensuite. My mum is really taken good care of and loves it here. Good choice of meals every day. Extremely clean, 5 stars. Can't ask for any more.
