View Full Details of Hatfield ManorHis room didn't look like it had been hoovered in several days. Table not been wiped over for ages. The home itself was very clean and had a lovely smell.
Mum has been at Hatfield Manor for around 10 weeks after 30 years in her own home. The team have been welcoming and caring and the facilities are wonderful. Mum seems to be settling well and really likes the staff from the housekeeping team up to management and of course the carers. Of course, issues arise but everyone is keen for feedback and to help resolve anything.
Mum is very well looked after and staff go all the way to make sure she is happy and safe. Facilities are great and the staff provide opportunities for the guests to be entertained. Telephone use is difficult, Phone is not always answered and signal is not very good.
I am writing this review after my mum has sadly passed away. I can definitely give Hatfield Manor 10 out of 10 for their professionalism, care and kindness in everything they do. I will miss going in there as I felt they were one big family that I was part of. Well done to the manager and all of your amazing team.
Hatfield Manor is one of the nicest care homes in the Herts. We are very happy, the staff are very caring.
I would just like to say a big thank you to all your staff and management at Hatfield Manor. They all went out to help my mother and support her needs too and honestly, this has been the first care home that I trusted for a long time. I felt that she was very supported here by your staff too. So thank you all once again.
What an amazing home, friendly caring staff, who demonstrate a high level of professionalism and dignity towards my friend. The rooms are spacious with lovely upholstery. I would definitely recommend this wonderful place.
Mother-in-law moved into Hatfield Manor back in November 2023. She was given six months to live back in June 2023, 14 months ago. She has come along well since moving here. The staff are so caring and do anything for my mother-in-law. They also treat us as part of the Hatfield Manor family.
This place puts my mind at ease. The staff here are so kind and caring and do their utmost to make life as good as they can for the residents and their families. They cooperate with relatives rather than setting rules. I couldn't recommend them more highly. The rooms are like hotel rooms, big and clean, but with the freedom to add personal pictures photos, etc. This is an excellent and uplifting place.
The home, I would like to call it home, not a care home as my husband calls this place home or hotel. He seems happy here thanks to all the professionals and loving care he receives from 'all the professionals working hard to keep him happy and safe. My experience so far has been so lovely as I can see my husband is settling nicely in his new home. This is his 5th day since his admission, and he felt so happy and safe that he called me last night and said that he would like to come and get me to be here with him as he feels happy here. Since that phone call I felt so reassured. So thank you so much for looking after my husband.
What a wonderful place. Not only is the home itself is modern, well decorated, clean and welcoming the staff and care team were fantastic. Grandad was very happy here and it was a joy to visit.
Hatfield Manor has such a good atmosphere. As soon as I walk in, I fear that everything is calm and running well. The decor is so good and it always looks clean and cared for. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. My sister is happy and friendly. My sister is happy here, and that is the most important thing.
I cannot thank the staff a Hatfield Manor enough for their wonderful attention, patience empathy and care for my 98-year-old mother. She is blind and deaf and suffers from dementia so she needs to watch constantly. She spent five appalling months in her previous home where she needed five ambulances for multiple serious injuries, finally necessitating a month in hospital. She is lucky to be alive but the greatest good fortune is ending up at Hatfield Manor to live out her days with dignity and proper care.
The care my father received was of the highest standard, all the staff are so dedicated to the residence. We give thanks to all at this home and the care they give.
Very good and attentive care. My mu was in safe hands at Hatfield Manor. The care staff were very professional and kind. We never had cause for concern over her wellbeing.
My mother was sent to Hatfield Manor for palliative care at the end of February 2024; she sadly passed away just 3 weeks later. Her needs were complex, but the care she received was exceptional; she was treated with great kindness and dignity throughout her stay. I am so grateful that my mother's last days were spent in such lovely, caring surroundings. The home is beautiful, from the elegant reception area to the spacious, beautifully decorated bedrooms and communal spaces. Hatfield Manor is not like any care home that I have ever been in, it always smells and looks lovely and clean, the staff are motivated and the residents seem very content and well looked after. The home manager and the staff are excellent. Every member of staff that I met smiled and introduced themselves on the first meeting, always said hello and couldn't have been kinder to us when our mother passed away. Hatfield Manor is a supreme example of how a care home should be and I would highly recommend it.
We were offered a place at Hatfield Manor on November 2nd. Mum took residence on Monday 6th, she was confident and content with the knowledge that the home and staff were going to make her final weeks as comfortable as possible. The family can only offer sincere gratitude to all at Hatfield Manor for the care, kindness and love given to Mum and the family. Thank you
My sister moved to Hatfield Manor Care Home in October 2023, and she spent the last 3 months of her life there. This beautiful, new, purpose-built care home offered her a home from home. It provided her the safety and palliative support she needed whilst enabling her to continue to live independently for as long as possible. The staff there were amazing. The home manager and her team provided outstanding care from day one. The staff really cared for my sister, and we were very touched when seven of the team attended her funeral. The in-house nursing team took great care of my sister's complex medical needs. My sister was able to remain in the home for end-of-life care, surrounded by her family and being cared for by staff who knew and cared very much for her. The support my family and I received from the staff was incredible. I will be forever grateful to the team for taking such great care of my sister.
My husband is currently staying here and if you have any thoughts about care homes Hatfield Manor will put your mind at rest. The staff, meals, room are first class. I know my husband is getting top-class care from such caring people.
My best friend was a resident and sadly passed away to a terminal disease. The care myself and her family was shown was outstanding. Every single carer showed how much care they had for my friend. They looked after her when we were not there. The care home was so clean and tidy. It was my friend's birthday recently and the care home went all out for her... they got her three cakes and decorated the lounge. They sung to her and made her feel extra special. I am totally overwhelmed that my friend spent her last few months in a place she could call home. A huge thank you to each and every one of the staff at Hatfield Manor. For me a big shout out to one member of staff in particular who stood out for me and showed such respect to my best friend. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
