View Full Details of Kailash Manor Care HomeOur original plan was for mum to stay at Kailash Manor for a month for respite care. Due to her existing health conditions this turned into palliative care. I would like to praise and thank the staff for the way they treated mum and the family. Full of love, compassion, kindness and respect. All the staff were lovely. The nurses in particular treated us with such sensitivity at a difficult time. I felt mum passed away in peaceful, comfortable and dignified surroundings. A big thank you to all the staff.
I have been a resident since 25/07/2024. Since I am both mentally and physically fit (91 years) it has taken time to adjust. However, over these few months I am settling down and praying with the care and support I am receiving from the management at all levels of the two as well as other staff members, I will be able to accept Kailash as my home and livelihood. I have had some issues with food; particularly dinner but with the help of management this is improving. Overall the management continues to ensure I am happy, comfortable, and approachable for which I am grateful.
This is my last review as my Mother passed away a couple of weeks ago at Kailash Manor. As she became more frail in her final weeks the nursing and care staff seemed somehow to be even more loving and attentive to her every need, making sure she had no pain or discomfort, ensuring she felt loved and special in between our visits. They kept us sensitively informed about any downward deterioration, obtained a medical review when needed but did not over-intervene, and did not let her feel anxious about her condition. We really appreciated the way in which they also looked after us as a family before and after her passing. We feel very fortunate that Mum had her final two years in the most caring and high-quality home we could have imagined. Our thanks go to all the staff, and our love to all the other residents they are still caring for.
I cannot thank enough all the staff at all levels at Kailash Manor Care Home. My Father had the best 15 months of his life here. He was palliative but they extended his life by making him so happy. He was very fearful of death and Kailash did everything to make him comfortable and happy. They went above and beyond to help me and my Mum too.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion Kailash Manor showed my father, especially during his last days. The nursing staff, particularly the night-time nurses, showed great kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication which meant a great deal to both him and our family. Knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him brought us immense peace. From the small, thoughtful gestures to the attentive care you gave every day, the team went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and at ease. We will forever be grateful for the support you provided, not just to him but to all of us as a family. Kailash has a true family feel, and it was evident in every interaction.
Has anyone seen a "heaven"? Honestly, when I visited this home (now I am visiting this home regularly because my sister is there) I was astonished to see such a beautiful home, very, very clean. The staff are extremely very polite and very caring. The rooms absolutely spacious, clean, and tidy meeting all the necessary needs of the resident. The general outlook gives you the impression you are visiting an 8-star hotel. Though this home is based on a Hindu theme (there is a temple, and lots of statues of different idols of Hindu, gods and goddesses) many said items are everywhere. The food served is excellent and the residents are given a choice of food they love to eat bearing in mind their dietary needs. This place is a heaven.
All the residents are very well cared for with dignity and empathy. The staff are friendly and welcoming evening times included. The management team are very professional in their outlook and funding of Kailash Manor. My Brother has been very happy and there has been a significant change in his health - all due to the care he is receiving.
This will sadly be my last review about Kailash due to my mother sadly passing away. I just wanted to highlight the amazing service and support my mother and also myself and my family received from Kailash in the lead-up to her demise. As sad as I am Mum is no longer with us, I take comfort she passed peacefully at Kailash which was her home. I also appreciate Kailash staff attending her funeral on 09/09/24. Keep doing what you do Kailash, you work wonders for residents both physically and mentally.
Very well-maintained care home with excellent staff, food, services and care. Well managed and pleased with the various activities they have for the elderly. Stimulates them. Comfortable stay for them. Very welcoming to visitors. Great hospitality. Especially the Bistro is well stocked with delicious food.
Amazing, dedicated team to look after and care for residents. Beautiful facilities. Excellent vegetarian food. A spiritual atmosphere with in-house temple.
We are getting amazing services here. My father-in-law is very happy here. The food, health care services and friendly behaviour of the team always make everyone feel free to feel at home.
Excellent care home, a nice comfortable home. Very high standards and service, Temple and activities. The availability of traditional food, homely atmosphere and caring staff give assurance that the resident is comfortable and enjoy their stay without worries. I think the prices are just too high, could be maintained at a reasonable price.
She was here for respite care for 4 weeks. Mum really enjoyed her stay and she felt like family. She had a very good time. All team members are very helpful. Admin team and Business Development Manager have been helpful with coordinating her stay. We have recommended this place to many friends and families. Keep up the good work. Blessings to all.
Great experience and Mum enjoyed her stay. Thanks for all your help and appreciate your support.
My mum recently moved to Kailash Manor. The whole management team have been a huge support for us and welcoming as was all new to us. Each member of the team personally introduced themselves and made my mum, who was very anxious, feel welcome and settled in.
Kailash Manor has welcomed my mum in a professional manner. Mum was very anxious when she arrived, she was welcomed by staff who made her feel at ease and helped settle her into her new surroundings. my mum has already told me she is impressed with her room, the food and the prayer room.
My sister came to Kailash Manor Care Home at the end of July 2023. Her condition has improved a lot since then. She eats well and loves her food. She enjoys the activities and cooperates with other colleagues. The staff are very caring and support my sister very well. The management team are very caring and always there to support my sister.
My experience is very good and calm. I feel at peace here and well looked after. I have no tension and my heath has improved.
Very good experience and very well cared for by the staff and the manager.
My husband was extremely ill and on palliative care when admitted to Kailash Care Home. Not only was he physically ill he was going downhill mentally too. The atmosphere at Kailash Manor changed it all. He became better both physically and mentally. I feel his life got extended due to the care that he received. The staff are extremely professional, kind and caring. The manager is impeccable at her job and very compassionate. My deepest gratitude to everyone at Kailash.
