View Full Details of Jubilee House Care HomeFrom first contact, the customer focus, responsiveness, empathy and attention to detail from one staff member in particular at Jubilee House has been outstanding. It's still early days for my parents' stay, but the first experience of customer service and care has been excellent; warm, human, professional and kind.
I have just been to visit a friend in Jubilee House and was amazed at the facilities on site. I felt very welcomed by all the staff I met and could see how my friend felt safe and comfortable with them. The communal areas are very comfortable and were full of people, enjoying the different things that were on. It completely changed my view of care homes - this is what good care looks like.
Mum came in initially for a 4 week stay while her house sale finalised. Right from initial contact, I've felt confident that everyone has mum's best interests at heart. She had lived on her own for a long time and was comfortable with her own company but she has rediscovered a part of herself that seemed to have died along with her friends over the years, the positive effects of interaction with others. The food is of a high standard and the variety is excellent. I've been made to feel welcome each time I visit and the fact I can drop in for coffee or book in for lunch with her is such a bonus. Great place, great staff.
My husband was with you for a very short time but was cared for wonderfully. As were all of us, his family. He passed away peacefully with us all around him, and nothing was any trouble to every member of staff we met. It was a very peaceful setting and environment. Staff and management very caring and excellent. Thank you all.
Overall, mum seems very happy at Jubilee House Care Home. If she's happy so am I. Mum is very well cared for. Staff are super helpful and kind. Activities and stimulation are superb and it's lovely to see mum joining in. I love the social media page so I can see mum even though I live 100 miles away. One concern is a lack of 24 hour wrap around care at the weekend evenings. Mum and her friend called on their buzzer and no one came. This should never happen. It's what we pay for.
My mother was resident for 5 weeks respite care to give her time to recover following a fall. The facilities and environment were excellent. Staff were very friendly, respectful and kind. Activities are provided for residents to use as they wish and a varied array were on offer. My mother enjoyed the variety and quality of the food and the option for a visitor to also have a meal in the bistro with their loved one was an added bonus. The bistro staff were also very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She particularly liked the fact she could get her hair done weekly! The home provided a comforting environment to allow mum to recover and get stronger to then enable her to return home. The atmosphere and facilities were very well maintained and bright. Would definitely recommend this facility.
Came in for respite care after an operation. Impressed on the first day that all staff knew me and called me by my name. Very good care which was flexible enough to cover my needs. Having separate dining areas on each floor makes eating more intimate. Also appreciated the lunches provided for visiting family and friends. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The stay definitely helped my recovery.
I went for 2 week's respite care in Jubilee House Care Home to experience temporary/permanent living there. I am an elderly lady, unfortunately suffering with a terminal illness, and obviously thinking about my future care. I was welcomed by all the staff and management who all came to introduce themselves. Whilst there, I wanted for nothing. The food was excellent and the staff so cheerful and helpful. There are activities available but no pressure to always join in. I left with the feeling that I will return as a resident at some time. I have no hesitation in recommending this very modern care home.
I spent valuable respite care at Jubilee House and found the experience comforting and comfortable. The caring staff were very attentive and professional with nothing being too much trouble day and night which was very reassuring. Although I wanted to go home I was genuinely sorry to leave the friendly supportive environment. The many extras included, eg guests' meals with me, hairdresser and beautician were an added bonus. All in all, I would highly recommend Jubilee House.
My mother moved to Jubilee House from another care home six months ago and we have experienced nothing but perfect care since then. She is comfortable and happy and recently said unprompted: “You wouldn’t think this was an old folks home."
I arrived at Jubilee House Care Home on 24th January 2024 after having a total hip replacement. On arrival, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff. Once settled in my room, refreshments were provided. From that day and night, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. On arrival, my friends and relatives received the same warmth from the staff. I will be leaving Jubilee House on 13th February after three weeks of convalescence. I am now able to walk (with one crutch!) Rested and more than ready to start a new life. Would I recommend Jubilee House - absolutely! Would I return to convalesce? *** - without a doubt! Thank you so much.
I came for two weeks of rehab after surgery. It was a very successful stay and definitely aided my recovery. All the staff were caring and helpful, and the food was excellent. Would recommend.
Very lovely, kind and reassuring. Staff always attentive and helpful.
All the team members at Jubilee House are always so friendly & can’t do enough to make you welcome. The facilities & care packages are also tailored to the needs of each individual. A wonderful environment to live in!
My aunt came in for respite care over the Christmas period and loved every minute of it. I was impressed by how the staff introduced themselves to her, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Having had experience of other care homes in the area it was lovely to see members of staff smiling which added to the overall experience of the home and made you feel welcome.
I am so very impressed with the excellent and loving care Mum is receiving in Jubilee House. The team, environment and facilities are all to a very high standard... we are so lucky to have such a place and great care in the area.
Mum came for respite care and loved it so much she stayed on! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is amazing and we have enjoyed having lunch with her when we visit. Mum really enjoys all the activities including visits from live penguins! The treat of a facial or nails being varnished each week is an added bonus.
Mum came in here for two weeks of respite care whilst we were abroad; she enjoyed it so much that she decided she did not want to return home! We were delighted with her decision! The staff are lovely, so kind and caring. The home itself is beautifully furnished, well laid out and clean. Would totally recommend it.
I booked into this wonderful care home because I needed to be looked after, after an operation for a hernia. I live on my own and could not get any help. The management and staff have been fantastic, and caring, with fantastic food and marvellous facilities and security. I am returning home feeling fit and happy that I made this decision.
