View Full Details of Kings CourtKings Court Middlebeck is truly a wonderful care home. It is warm, cosy, spotless and the staff are wonderful. I visit on a regular basis. The residents are always smiling, which is wonderful to see. The rooms have a home from home feel. Various activities take place, from entertainment, bingo, crafting to name but a few. The front of house manager, is welcoming and sympathetic, and like the staff, is always prepared to go the extra mile. Thank you all.
Since our first visit, we have been impressed with the quality of the facilities offered at King's Court and the kindness, courtesy and care offered to residents. A particular strength is the quality of activities provided e.g a Christmas themed activity on offer everyday in December and the opportunity for family to join their loved one on Christmas Day for Christmas lunch. We are more than happy with King's Court and all that they provide.
From our initial visit to view, through to check-in on 5th Jan, we have had a relaxed and stress-free time at Kings Court. Our rooms are comfortable and modern, we are impressed by the professional and welcoming staff. All our needs are met and our queries are answered. We are enjoying the food very much too. Highly recommended.
My mother-in-law has been at King's Court for 3 months now. I am very happy with the care she is receiving. Her room is bright and comfortable, her bathroom could not be better. Everything is very clean. There is always plenty of staff available. The carers are cheerful and always ready to help. They do not impose any unwanted routine and she chooses when and what she does. We had a lovely Christmas lunch with her and other residents: the lunch was superb!
My mum was admitted in August when we were about to return to Australia at short notice. The staff were fantastic and of great assistance. Mum is very happy in Kings Court and has a lovely room and enjoys the craft facilities and food. Living so far away in Australia it is a great relief Mum is safe and well cared for by great staff.
Kings Court has been consistently supportive. The staff have gone above and beyond in welcoming our family member.
We cannot rate Kings Court highly enough! Our relative was so apprehensive about residential care but Kings Court provides a real home-from-home atmosphere. We have watched our relative come alive again, eating wonderful food (with a glass of wine) living independently with help from the staff who are all excellent and cater for the individual needs. Just wonderful.
Very pleased. Excellent overall experience. The home and staff have all been excellent for Mum. Thank you!
Staff looked after me very well. Very grateful for all your undivided attention.
Walking through the doors for the first time was very calming. The staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. My sister was shown around and into her lovely clean and fresh bedroom. The food looked appetising and the smell was lovely. So pleased with it all, the staff smiling and helpful. Any problems the staff had, they talk to us and help my sister feel at home. So pleased with it all.
Kings Court is a beautiful care home. Whenever I visit the atmosphere is always pleasant and the residents are well cared for. My sister-in-law's room is always very clean and tidy, it looks well-kept. I would not hesitate to recommend Kings Court to family and friends, the staff are very caring and always listen to our concerns and keep us informed of my sister-in-law's progress. Well done and keep it up.
This is the second time my friend has stayed for respite care at Kings Court in Newark. I have been a regular visitor on both occasions. I have found the staff to be very caring and friendly, my friend was made to feel very welcome and cared for by all of them. The place, quite honestly is like a 5-star hotel, the food is excellent and visitors are encouraged to stay for a meal with the residents. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there are lounges and outside spaces in the garden to sit as well. All in all I would be very happy to have my relative/friend stay there and would hope that if the need should arise in my future there would be space for me to stay there too.
A very hard and emotional decision to move Mum to Kings Court but a good one! Mum has settled very well, helped by supportive staff and twice daily activities that take place. Mum is treated with dignity and respect. Has a lovely spacious room with an excellent ensuite. There are numerous areas to sit and chat and even a cinema room! Mum is very happy and we have peace of mind
Mum became a resident at Kings Court on May 10th. She has a particularly traumatic experience in hospital and a local rehab centre. In her words, she no longer wished to be alive. The care staff and support (everyone) here gently and considerately nursed her back to her 'old self'. She is beginning to really enjoy life again. Yesterday she took part in chair yoga. She talks about how grateful sand lucky she is to be at Kings Court. I cannot thank the staff enough.
A very clean and professional home, with very friendly staff. The whole team have made Mum very welcome and she has adjusted well to the pleasant surroundings.
As a first-time in a care home, I would certainly recommend it.
Staff friendly. Food excellent. Clean facilities. Mum thinks it's like a 5* hotel. Mum always looks smart and well-presented. Mum would like more baths.
Mum has settled in so well. Always happy to see us. I stayed for lunch. Staff were great. Very caring and attentive. Great food. Gave Mum a choice and helped her choose.
Aunt was booked in for two weeks but is still here many weeks later, which says it all! It really is like a home from home and so comfortable and wonderful staff.
Aunt has settled in lovely and doesn't want to go home.
