View Full Details of Sleaford Manor Care HomesI stayed for 2 weeks respite care after a knee joint replacement and found all the staff. From management to carers and cleaners, extremely helpful and caring. I would certainly recommend your home to anyone. The facilities are excellent. The food is good and entertainment is also good, in fact the overall experience couldn't be faulted.
Staff were welcoming, polite and efficient and were aware of the need to provide for personal space. Entertainment facilities were good and there is a lovely patio/garden for warmer weather sitting out. Plenty of space in rooms/corridors and communal areas. Clean and well kept. Quality of meals adequate.
First class support by dedicated team in delightful environment. Compassionate care for residents in body, mind and spirit. You are a great team. Thank you to everyone at Sleaford Manor Care Homes.
It took a week of so for my grandmother to settle due to some teething issues, however the management team and staff have been attentive to feedback and have worked very hard to resolve the small issues. As a family we are very pleased with the care and support provided. My grandma is delighted with her room and the food provided. Thank you for all you do to make this difficult transition smooth and pleasant, we are very grateful.
We moved Dad from a care home in another area in June to be closer to family and I wish we'd done it sooner. The communication between senior staff and myself was excellent, I was informed of issues arising with Dad's health regularly. Care staff, including domestic and kitchen, were all conscientious and the care and respect Dad was given was very good. The facilities are excellent during warmer days. The activities team were inclusive to all floors and adapted dementia residents and their needs. Learning about residents likes/dislikes was obviously priority and made Dad's stay a better experience. Since Dad passed away we have been shown nothing but care and respect. Thank you to everyone who dealt with Dad.
Everywhere was very clean. The staff were always cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Good variety of food and a good standard. Potion size also. The room was clean and had a lovely view. Comfortable bed. Talking to family was tricky. I would have liked my own phone. As I am unable to use a mobile phone. The family had trouble getting through and sometimes messages didn't get through.
My mother-in-law stayed for two weeks here and had a positive experience overall. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were always friendly, cheerful and helpful. The food was good and there were a variety of meals, with good portion sizes. Her room was lovely and fresh with lots of space for clothes/belongings, with a pretty view of the garden and a comfy bed. Although she didn't join in much, there seemed to be a variety of activities available. She cannot use a mobile phone and communication was often tricky, with family and friends finding it hard to get through at times. It would be amazing if on the next stay (she definitely wants to return), she could have her own phone in her room.
I cannot fault the care and consideration at Sleaford Manor and I love my 'rest and recuperation' stays with you all.
Thank you so much to Sleaford Manor Care Homes for providing such wonderful care and support over the time in residence my father had in the home. He was always well looked after, and he really enjoyed the fantastic cuisine. He was treated with dignity and respect. His room was immaculate, very spacious and comfortable, and the staff always cheerful and helpful. I kindly thank the management team and all the staff for making his stay such a happy one.
Our father's been a resident at the care home for around 6 months now. The staff and management at the home are a credit to your company. The care and love that they show him and the manner in which they treat and respond to his needs is first class. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, very open and honest in any communication or conversation. Well done and thank you.
Sleaford Manor is a very special place. Whilst the facilities are fantastic, it is the staff who are the real wizards here. They all go above and beyond. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and I am always made to feel that Mum and I are the sole purpose of their day. It is so rare to find this level of consistency throughout an entire organisation and is something money cannot buy. Mum initially went for respite care, but the love and kindness she received made the huge decision to become a resident so easy for her. Mum dreams of swimming again. The staff are really keen to help her achieve this goal, which is reflective of their exceptional dedication to all of their residents. There is plenty to motivate each day, from the activities programme to the menu. Mum is always praising the quality, nutrition and variety of the food served. We are both very thankful that we discovered the amazing team at Sleaford Manor.
My friend is very well cared for here. The food is fabulous, her needs are met, and she isn't made to do things she doesn't want to (e.g. joining in social events). I can visit at times to suit our circumstances. The home is clean and clutter-free, and the staff are brilliant.
Since visiting Sleaford Manor in the summer of 2023, I have been overwhelmed by the ambience of the home. The friendliness of the staff and the approachability of the management is refreshing. The whole setting exudes a family atmosphere. I have been so impressed that I recommended it to three other friends whose parents/relatives stayed for respite. It leaves other providers in the shade.
My 85-year-old mum moved into Sleaford Manor on the 5th of March 2024. Initially, Mum (and us) were very apprehensive about this but we did not need to worry as we have all been extremely impressed and overwhelmed with how wonderful and kind all the staff have been. This includes the cleaners, carers, kitchen and activity staff as well as the management team. Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful, nothing has been too much trouble, they really go that extra mile. The building is stunning and Mum's room is beautiful with views overlooking the pretty garden. The facilities are outstanding and Mum and us are encouraged to participate in the interesting/fun daily activities as well as eat in the fabulous restaurant where the food is delicious. We have also booked one of the fabulous lounge areas for Mum's private birthday party in April. I cannot praise Sleaford Manor enough. What we thought was going to be a difficult and upsetting transition has proved to be a smooth and joyful experience and that is firmly down to all the wonderful staff, my family and I honestly cannot thank you enough.
As you can tell by the ticked boxes, I consider my team at Sleaford Manor to be very good. The facilities are lovely and the care given delivered with love by the carers, who have all become my good friends. I love them all. There are many activities available and lots of entertainment provided. Bless them all.
Mum went into Sleaford Manor in November 2023, initially for respite care following a fall at home. Two weeks afterwards she decided to stay on to receive full-time care. I was concerned that after living on her own for so many years she would not easily adjust to communal living, but she has formed a close bond with one of the other residents and now refers to Sleaford Manor as “home”. I cannot thank all the management and staff enough for the way they treat Mum with dignity and respect at all times and for providing excellent care 24/7.
Visited my uncle whilst in the area for Christmas. He was very happy and settled, considering he'd only been at the home for a short while. What I saw of the home was very impressive. Great staff, great environment and care that is second to none.
I found Sleaford Manor very satisfactory. I needed care after being in hospital. It regained my strength before returning home. The staff were very attentive in general and, other than the continued ringing on bells which woke me up in the middle of the night, my stay was an enjoyable experience.
My mother lives here and is very happy with the home and all the staff are more than helpful and caring.
So pleased my dad moved in. The home itself is stunning and the staff amazing. Dad enjoys the entertainment and activities and says the food is great as well. I have peace of mind that he has support 24/7 and I couldn’t be happier and Dad always has a smile on his face in the photos posted for friends and family to view. The care my dad has received has been first class, I can’t recommend Sleaford Manor enough, it is great for both of us.
