View Full Details of Claremont Manor Care HomeI would like to thank the staff at Claremont Manor, my partner passed away in the early hours on Tuesday morning, her family was by her side and myself, it's possibly the hardest thing I've done. The staff were outstanding, and a big thanks go to the night girls. It's been a terrible time for the family and me, but with understanding staff made things a little easier. God bless the manager and all the staff.
The Claremont Manor team have been really helpful and friendly. They gave my mum and other residents personal Christmas presents which shows a level of individual care. The food is excellent and the atmosphere over Christmas with all the events was amazing. As a daughter who has a close relationship with her mum, I couldn't recommend anywhere better. Thank you!
Claremont Manor is a home built especially for the needs of older people and people in need of care. It was refreshing to see the quality of the design that made life easier for service users, their visitors and of course staff. My parent moved into the home and it immediately felt like they were being well cared for both physically and mentally. Staff at the home went above and beyond to make sure some of the visitors who have disabilities were able to visit and were comfortable in their visit. My parent was able to take part and experience the wide range of activities that take place at Claremont Manor, important in making them feel part of a community at the home. The kindness, sensitivity and professionalism of the staff is outstanding.
Despite all our concerns, mum settled in quickly and is very happy. Claremont Manor Care Home is a beautiful environment made more so by its special staff who go out of their way to stop and chat whenever they see a resident. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - kept spotlessly clean as are all areas. Food is served (for those who choose to go there) in a welcoming dining room and offers a good variety. The activities team put on a varied and engaging programme. We are delighted to have found such a perfect, caring environment for mum and grateful to all who show her so much love.
I have never met such a friendly, welcoming and caring bunch of people who consistently do their best to look after my husband and brighten his day. He needs help to do everything and cannot speak, but this isn't a problem for them or him. I visit daily and am sure that he is in the best possible place for him.
I have been very pleased with my husband's care at Claremont Manor Care Home. The staff have all been very professional, kind and caring. This has made a difficult time much easier to cope with. My husband is happy that he is in the right place for his nursing needs and he feels safe and secure. The manager and staff pay attention to detail and are meticulous in his care. The food is excellent and varied. His room is bright, airy and comfortable for him, and his visitors. Our dog is welcome to visit, which is a great comfort.
Staff unfailingly pleasant and helpful and always welcoming to visitors. The home environment is lovely - excellent facilities, excellent food and attentive care. I am very happy with the care mum is receiving.
My mother has now been in Claremont Manor for five months. During that time the number of occupants has grown considerably and, at times, there have been some teething problems. However, all through this time all the staff have been caring and supportive. It is great for me to know that mum is being looked after so well and gives me peace of mind. The staff are also very friendly when any of the family visit and are accommodating of all the family including the great grandchildren and the dogs! As a new home all the facilities are excellent and the staff encourage the residents to participate in various activities. I couldn't ask for a better place for mum to spend her twilight years.
Mum has been at Claremont Manor Care Home for several months now. She was initially very resistant to any sort of support and still speaks about going home but we can tell that she responds positively to all the caring and lovely staff. She joins in with activities and trips and actually socialises now. The staff are very friendly, approachable and compassionate. They have communicated well with family and welcomed us in too. The range of activities and visitors to Claremont is tremendous and the care provided is exemplary. The environment is lovely and dining facilities and food are brilliant. It is very reassuring to know that mum is not only cared for well, but with affection and a real understanding of the complexities of dementia. Our thanks go to all the staff in every capacity who all contribute to making this home from home.
Wonderful care received by all staff. Even through difficulties, staff are very competent, warm and knowledgeable, they have welcomed us as a family where nothing is too much trouble. Senior staff and management are professional and on the ball. The setting is clean and luxurious. Service users are involved with food and drink choices and preferences, this is so important! Activities are available daily service users are encouraged to join in and respected with their choice if declined. Overall I would recommend Claremont Manor Care Home as a care home, I wouldn't want my dad to be anywhere else with his needs.
My mother-in-law has been a resident since June 2024 and has been extremely well looked after. This has been especially relevant recently, as her son, my husband, has been very poorly himself and I have been unable to visit mum much. I know she is safe in her environment, she is comfortable and her medical needs are being addressed. This has been a great relief to me.
I have been blown away by both the facilities available and the staff at Claremont Manor Care Home. The environment is spacious, clean and perfectly set up to meet all levels of resident needs. I think its great that there is a bar, movie theatre, lounges, hair dressers and grandchildren's room. It really has that an air of luxury. Love that the dining areas are really like cafes and restaurants. The menus look great. Every member of staff I encounter has been nothing but polite and supportive. Nothing seems too much trouble. You can visit whenever you want and they seem to be constantly running family events. Claremont Manor has a real community feel about it.
Everyone is friendly, welcoming and helpful. I feel they love Mum as if she was their own mum. Every carer is taken to encourage eating and drinking though she's the world's slowest. Whether cleaners, maintenance or front-line staff they all seem to take pride in caring creating this lovely atmosphere. The building is amazing with plenty of facilities even on a rainy day. The lifestyle coordinators work hard to involve residents in things they enjoy.
The facilities and staff at Claremont Manor are wonderful. They show so much care and love for all of their residents and I'm so thankful that my mother is able to live there. It is always spotlessly clean, laundry is turned over fast, food is delicious. All of the staff, the cleaners, hospitality team, activity coordinators, carers, nurses and management team put their all into providing such a homely and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend Claremont Manor to everyone I speak to.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere gratitude to all the staff for the dedicated care, love and support to my wife during her stay at Claremont. Each day after visiting her I knew when I left she was in safe hands. Many thanks and best wishes to all.
My mum has Alzheimer's and moved into Claremont in the first wave of residents. Mum has settled so well there has been none of the distress often associated with these big transitions I genuinely feel it has been seamless. Everything about Claremont is brilliant and this stems from the lovely staff. Thank you to all who show my mum such kindness.
Dad has been in Claremont for 2 months. In that time he has put on weight, his walking has improved and so has his social life/activity level! Dad had a prolonged stay in hospital and we decided on Claremont for 4 weeks of respite when he came out. He then decided to stay on permanently. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, who are all very efficient and very friendly both with residents and their guests. Dad can be quite a fussy eater but he has really enjoyed the food. He has taken up carpet bowls, been on trips out in the Claremont minibus and loved having visiting therapy animals. Dad feels very safe with there being a nurse on call 24/7. Any concerns I have brought to the Manager, she has dealt with very speedily and we all feel very listened to. The environment is beautiful with lovely rooms and elegant communal areas. All in all, we are very grateful that Dad has found such a caring and ideal environment to live in. Thank you to all the team!
