View Full Details of Woolston HouseI would like to thank the home manager and their team at Woolston House as they mark their first year anniversary. The care my brother has recieved in the past twelve months has been exceptional. They have met the challenge of caring for someone with complex mental health care needs and stage four Parkinson's disease. Truly giving my brother the best quality of life. He is very happy, as am I. I can once again enjoy my life knowing my lovely brother is receiving exceptional care.
I only have excellent feedback on all aspects of care and attention by the staff and management at Wooston House. Also as a visitor was treated with the utmost respect and made thoroughly welcome from the first time entering the building to the last time when I left after the passing of my ex-partner.
My brother moved in to Woolston House during April and I can only say the experience has been extremely good at all levels. All of the staff involved in his care have shown amazing compassion and care for him. The quality of care so far has been outstanding. All of the staff have already been on awareness training for his condition, which is relatively rare. Further training has also been arranged for the nursing staff to give them further information on the condition and how it manifests. The feedback from the staff has been great following the training completed so far, with lots of comments on additional things they can now do to help my brother. Now that he has been at Woolston House for a few weeks, the team are already requesting changes for equipment to better support him and this is being fully supported by the Management Team. A huge thanks to everyone at Woolston House.
My wife is currently in the care of Woolston Care Home, it is a very warm safe welcoming place for family friends and loved ones. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, always have a smile and are willing to listen to patient's needs no matter how big or small. Staff are also willing to go the extra mile and will offer family and friends a cup of tea coffee or juice and love to celebrate special holidays like Christmas and Easter as well as Chinese New Year. They will always make an effort when it's the patient's birthday.
