View Full Details of Carpenders Park Care HomeSuch a lovely place. The staff are very friendly, and professional. I was very impressed. The other residents I saw were all nicely dressed, and obviously very well looked after. I am confident that anybody coming to reside in this particular home would be totally safe and cared for at the highest possible level.
I cannot thank the team enough for their care and compassion they have shown to my mum but to us as a family as well. I love that every member of the team are approachable, polite and friendly. I have the satisfaction of knowing my mum is safe, cared for and no longer lonely. To see how happy she is just means the world to me. I get to spend quality time with her now rather than a full time carer. I've got my mum back.
Two staff members in particular and the team have all been magnificent both in facilitating getting my mother-in-law admitted to Carpenders Park Care Home, dealing with social services and all the issues this entails. I cannot speak highly enough of two staff members in particular. Once there, the team are all friendly, Efficient and caring. The home itself is spectacular to see that her mother has a new lease of life, especially as she is now over 100 years old. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough.
Staff are wonderful and kind during my stay at Carpenders Park Care Home. I'm happy to remain here now on a permanent basis.
I feel very lucky to have found Carpenders Park Care home for my dad who was in need of emergency respite care in December. I knew as soon as I walked through the doors that dad would be ok here! Not only is it spotlessly clean and beautiful, but more importantly every staff member is kind and caring! From the manager and staff in the office, and on reception who are always available to help and offered me such kind support when dad first arrived and continue to do so, to the housekeeping staff who make sure dad always has clean clothes and clean surroundings to the teams that serve meals and the care for residents, every one of them are kind and care! Dad is being very well looked after and all his needs are being met. He is enjoying the beautiful food which is thoughtfully prepared and presented as well as the constant supply of snacks he is offered. He is comfortable, safe and warm and has a constant watchful eye on him 24/7!
I am really happy with the care that my dad is receiving and the support that my mum has received at a difficult time. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities at the care home are lovely especially the bistro. I also feel that we have been kept informed about dad's care and that if there was any problem we would be contacted.
Very happy with the treatment my husband has received. I am in the fortunate position of living nearby and visit every day. Everybody is welcoming and helpful. Nice, calm atmosphere. Comfortable room.
I have to write to say how well my dad has been treated. I felt comfortable enough to go on holiday and was kindly sent messages from one staff member in particular, which made me so grateful that I could relax and not worry. Two members of staff are also amazing as is everyone here. My dad is always saying how well he is looked after.
Mum has become a lot livelier since moving into the home, interaction being the main part of this. Her room, the food and all the staff are excellent. My brother and I are pleased she settled. Would highly recommend anybody else thinking of care homes to have a look!
Everything absolutely excellent. Outstanding staff.
My husband went into Carpenders Park Care Home, he stayed there for two weeks (respite) after coming out of hospital. The care he received was unbelievable from all staff and carers. They're all a great credit to the centre. Some of the staff went about and beyond.
Mum had managed at home with carers and an awful lot of support from my Sister and me. After a long stay in hospital, we realised Mum needed more support. Many homes in the Watford area were visited, but Carpenders Park home was head and shoulders above the rest, in their decoration, carers, and management. Unfortunately Mum has very recently passed away, but I cannot thank Carpenders Park staff enough for caring for Mum so well and making her feel safe and welcome. Most of all they gave me my Mum back. My sister and I were able to spend quality time with Mum, without worrying about her. Whilst in there, it was my sister's 50th Birthday. They home-baked cakes and scones, ordered flowers, a bottle of bubbly, and a gorgeous card. Then put on a tea party for Mum and close family to celebrate her daughter's 50th. In my books, you do not get better love and care than that. My only concern was she was not able to spend longer in this wonderful environment.
I searched high and low for the perfect care home for my mother. A wonderful lady who kept a beautiful home and only deserved the very best. As soon as I walked into Carpenters Park I just knew it was the perfect place. The Management team and carers are outstanding, nothing too much trouble and always on hand to fulfill any requirements. Their personal touch made the whole transition easy, and the care they gave her while she was there was faultless. The only bad part was that she only got to experience it for 2-3 weeks as her general health just couldn't fight another battle against pneumonia. While she was there she was the healthiest and happiest I'd seen her in years and I want to thank everyone at the home for giving me and my sister our mum back to enjoy those special moments with her before she passed. Keep up the amazing work!
