View Full Details of Esmere Gardens Nursing HomeI had visited Esmere Gardens a few times with some local community groups in the last 6 months or so and was so impressed by the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the staff just from visiting the foyer that when I came to visit a friend who was a palliative care resident up until she passed away I was even more taken aback! The room was like a 5 star hotel, my friend and any guests were made to feel very welcome when we visited, her family were invited to visit any time and to be included in any activities, we especially liked the birds of prey recently. Having worked in care homes before, Esmere Gardens does not have the look or feel of a care home there are no buzzers or bells going off, no staff members racing around seeing to residents. It's all very calm and clean and I take my hat off to every member of staff that work hard to keep it the very best! I'd like to say a special thank you to one special lady who despite her own sadness helped us through ours. Thank you all!
My father stayed at Esmere Gardens for two months respite care following an operation. From our initial enquiry through every aspect of his care our experience has been excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and each staff member's concern for my father's comfort and welfare has been exceptional. All his medical needs were taken care of by the very professional and caring nursing staff and we were always kept updated. The home is beautifully furnished and extremely clean with a very homely feel to it. His own room was very well appointed and comfortable, the meals delicious and the variety of activities outstanding. The all inclusive charging structure is very reassuring. We can't thank the staff enough for making my father's stay such a good experience for us all. They even gave him a birthday party when he celebrated a milestone birthday.
Esmere Gardens is an excellent care home. The staff are all very kind, helpful and take care of the residents. The rooms are of a good size and comfortable. I would highly recommend Esmere Gardens to anyone.
My father stayed for Respite care at Esmere Gardens in October this year. Right from our initial visit we were filled with reassurance that my father was going to be given the very best care. I always think that you can judge a lot about any place or organisation by the staff, and absolutely every staff member we met at Esmere was friendly, considerate, professional and generally exemplary. My father was very happy and the stay was both enjoyable for him and ( as a gentleman who can be reluctant to try anything unfamiliar) therapeutic. We have used several care homes in the locality for respite care for dad and Esmere was head and shoulders above the others in terms of the care dad received. The home itself is stunning and beautifully furnished, but don't be fooled - the staff and quality of care are even better!
Lovely care home instantly made my dad and I feel welcome, great at getting him to settle and comforting him as I struggled when he first went in there with guilt. Communication via phone and email is good and know I can ring at any time with any questions etc and lots of nice events to involve all members of the family.
The staff were all extremely caring and kind. They went "the extra mile" to make sure my husband was happy, comfortable and confident. The nursing care was excellent and drugs were safely administered at the correct times. This was respite care and I would not hesitate to bring him to the Esmere Gardens again.
Esmere Gardens looks and feels like a modern, up-market hotel, but with high levels of professional care and support going on unobtrusively in the background. Staff are, without exception, kind, friendly and caring. They have all got to know my mother and her habits and preferences within a few weeks. Issues or concerns are dealt with proactively and communication with relatives is excellent. We can visit my mother whenever we like, have lunch with her, join in with the various events and activities or take her out, as we wish. We are very happy that she is at Esmere Gardens.
With Mum no longer able to live independently, it was key that the next move was to the right place. Having looked at other local providers, we found everything and more that we could have hoped for at Esmere Gardens - they set the standard. The time and effort that the whole team took to get to know Mum and help her settle in are a testament to their friendly and proactive approach where nothing is too much trouble. It looks like a first class hotel but feels like home.
My husband has received respite care for 8 weeks at Esmere Gardens. From initial contact to the end of the stay, I cannot fault the high standard of care, catering and activities that have been provided. The home is immaculately clean with a fabulous, family-like feel to it. Particular praise for the reception team, activity provider, nursing and care staff as nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful for such wonderful care.
Since my parents have arrived in Esmere Gardens, they have settled in very well, due to the wonderful staff and care provided, the staff go beyond what I was expecting. The building and facilities are fabulous, I would recommend Esmere Gardens to anyone needing full-time or respite care.
My parents-in-law have settled in well into the home and seem happy here. The care that they receive is excellent, the staff are very approachable and kind. The food is very good as is the housekeeping staff. The staff are very concerned that all their needs are met and that their lives are made as comfortable as possible.
My son and I come to visit a friend regularly. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Our friend is well cared for. He has the offer of lots of activities both in the home and outside. The accommodation is lovely and finished to a high spec. Just waiting for the garden to truly develop as it is a new building. The only part of the catering we have experienced is the cake and there has always been a wide variety of choices and they're all delicious! I would certainly consider Esmere Gardens for my relatives when the time comes.
Since my mother moved into this care home I have seen a major change in her overall appearance and well-being. This is due to the care and tenderness of the staff looking after her. The staff have also kept me up to date with all that is happening to her, so nothing comes as a shock as I am always kept in the loop. I could not ask for anything better.
Very good and friendly nursing staff. Very good food. A quiet and peaceful location. Nice gardens.
Esmere Gardens Nursing Home is one of the most beautifully situated care homes I have ever encountered. Set in a field of the Foss Way in Moreton-in-Marsh, it is very new and well-designed. The care staff are wonderful; loving in their care, keen on their jobs and extremely hard-working. Their medical care is meticulous and the food is excellent. Moreton is conveniently placed for friends and families with a regular train service from London.
The move to Esmere Gardens has been very smooth. We have found all the staff so welcoming and attentive. They are hugely caring and my friend is particularly enjoying the activities and outings. Thank you so much.
I had great abandonment issues when I left my husband in respite care but the staff were hugely understanding and sympathetic. My husband's room and en-suite were spacious and comfortable with lovely large windows overlooking the garden and with all care and attention settled into a happy routine. I was kept well informed about my husband's activities during the day, his sleep pattern and his healthy eating. I thank all the staff for looking after my husband so well,
I came to Esmere Gardens for a complete rest following a relapse in my long covid recovery. The room is spacious with ensuite facilities and has access to the gardens so that it's possible to sit and go outside without having to walk too far. Communal areas include a restaurant (although meals can be provided in your own room), a pub with a large screen tv and a cafe (also with large screen TV) and a hairdressers. TVs are also provided in the individual rooms. There are daily opportunities for activities if wished but it's also possible just to be quiet in your room as well which, given my present condition, is what I needed. I have found all the staff without exception excellent: attentive, kind, helpful and friendly but unobtrusive and respectful of your privacy. They are on constant call and nothing is too much trouble, also ensuring that I was happy with the food as a non-meat eater. All in all, I really can't fault it.
I have visited two new residents here and prior to that visited one of them in another care home. I was very impressed with that home, but Esmere Gardens is quite simply wonderful. The location rooms furnishing and quality of staff is five star. I often pop in unannounced and this never alters. The food and personal touches are over and above any other homes. I visit many homes as a Pastoral Administrator for our church and this one excels.
