View Full Details of St Rita's Care HomeMy wife has been a resident for nearly five years and has received care.
Dad has been at St Rita's for 15 months now and is very settled. He has benefited greatly from the outside space. The indoor space is good for Dad's pacing. Dad takes part in all the activities and various outings and we are grateful for the stimulation he receives from these. Recently, I had to tell Dad of a family bereavement and we were both well supported during this. All Dad's needs are met promptly and thoroughly. I recently enquired about a bird table for outside his window. The next day one was in situ for Dad to enjoy. Thank you.
My relative has been living at St Rita's and is very settled. She appears to have no issues with anything except her deafness which has nothing to do with the care home.
My mother has been a resident for just over a year. St Rita's is a very welcoming and caring place to live. I am welcome to visit at any time and all the staff are very kind and supportive. They are always happy to discuss my mum's needs and have been very active in managing her medicines and pain management with the Doctor. I feel that St Rita's cares about my mum.
St Rita's was recommended to us by a former care worker and is better than I could have hoped for. Choosing when to move Mum into care was difficult, but choosing where was easy. It was the only care home we visited that we actually liked. Every member of staff is a friend and visiting is a pleasure. Mum has been a resident for the past six months and I am very grateful to all of the staff for everything they do. Thank you.
Very good experience for my mother in St Rita's. Visiting is made very easy by the staff. My father has been made very welcome enabling them to keep in contact. Issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently with great understanding.
A warm and caring environment, with fantastic staff that are very professional at all times. Many of the staff have been here for a long time which speaks for itself. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the residents are happy in their home. We are always welcome if we wish to join relatives for a meal and we can help ourselves to tea/coffee when visiting - it really is a wonderful care home.
My mum is being exceptionally well cared for by the staff at St Rita’s. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are all so friendly and resident focused. Mum feels that the staff have become friends and feels very safe and secure here. Mum’s room is spacious and kept spotlessly clean, she is very happy with it. All in all a fabulous care home, run by an extremely caring and dedicated management. I cannot fault a thing and am delighted that my mum is staying here.
So happy with St Rita’s! Moved Dad here from another care home after 10 days of ‘respite care’ - he had been stuck in the room at the other care home for his entire stay and bed-bound for the last 4 or 5 days. Moved Dad here and the very next day he was in a wheelchair enjoying meals in the restaurants, activities and socialising with other residents. All the staff I have met have been great - they all care and live the ‘ethos’ of the home to a tee and the atmosphere in the home is lovely - and also in a lovely position. So glad we found St Rita’s - highly recommend it!
Everyone was kind and caring to my dad and his relatives. Staff made it their business to get to know him and sensitively meet his needs, and were equally kind and supportive of his relatives. Thank you all.
The staff showed a high level of care, compassion and professionalism. We always felt that he was safe and comfortable. His needs were met medically and pastorally. The staff were always friendly, caring and helpful to us visitors. Communication with the family was always excellent.
My mum had been at St Rita's for nearly three years following a significant stroke in 2020. We always knew that St Rita's was the best place for her to be and were impressed with their level of care. But I have just spent a week at her bedside there, as she entered her final days and was blown away by the kindness, respect, standard of care and actual love for both my mum and me during this really difficult time. I witnessed first-hand the care home operating 24 hours a day - not just the one hour a week when I used to visit - and saw the whole incredible team: hard-working, caring and simply wonderful. Thank you, St Rita's, for giving my mum the very best care possible.
Excellent care from all departments. Staff are very caring and organised. Quick response to requests. Housekeeping is brilliant, always clean and tidy. My view - 11/10.
St Rita’s is a truly outstanding care home, built around amazing people and a wonderful environment. Set in extensive and beautiful grounds, which are perfect for walks when visiting, the whole place exudes a calm and nurturing atmosphere. It is fairly large but feels small and family. The staff are genuinely the best and most friendly we have found anywhere.
Mum was really struggling at home, and it was a huge decision to place her into a care home and find one that we had confidence in. From the moment we first visited St Rita's, I knew we had made the right choice for Mum. All of the staff, from the managers to the carers, treat Mum with respect and dignity. Their priority is always her well-being, health and making her stay in her new home happy. Mum now joins in with the activities and has really enjoyed her trips out. They are always quick to inform us of any changes. I am confident we made the right choice for Mum and would thoroughly recommend St Rita's.
My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's, and I visit the care home to see her very regularly. I have always found the management and staff to be very friendly and efficient. Their main focus is always on the well-being and health of my mother-in-law, and they are very quick to keep us informed on how she is and any concerns they may have. She is always treated with respect, and the care she received is exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend St Rita's to anyone.
Entry requirements very clear, including Covid test. Staff member very welcoming and natural, speaking with patient/client in a normal, friendly manner. Patient/client, our friend, very relaxed and seemed content. Pleasant room, personalised and clean.
My dear friend was at St Rita's, and I had the privilege to be with her often during the weeks she was at St Rita's. She had MND. The staff were always attentive and caring - answering every need. I do believe she was in the perfect place for the last weeks of her life. Do not think she could have had better care. She was comfortable and peaceful. Her family were always welcome.
It was a big decision to move my mum into a home, especially in the pandemic, and we held off as long as possible. But now we have found St Rita's, we know Mum is happy and well cared for. All her anxiety has gone, and the staff and the communication are both excellent. So pleased and recommend to everyone I know in a similar position.
I have nothing but positive things to say about St Rita's. They have cared so magnificently for our mother over the years. The standards in all areas are exceptionally high, and the staff are a real pleasure to deal with.
