I have no complaints. The staff are helpful, kind and friendly with the residents and family. I have thought about moving mum to be nearer where I live but as she is so well cared for I have decided to leave her as she is happy and content there.

My mum is in Romford Care Home and I have to say she is well looked after. I feel happy about her being there and most importantly she likes it there. The staff are great and it's very welcoming when you walk through the door. I would recommend this care home to anyone who is having to choose a care home for a loved one.
The management are easy to talk to and the staff are friendly. The biggest compliment I can give is that we have complete trust in the nurses, and all employees there, to look after, and do what's best, for my aunt.
I have always been treated with respect. If I had any worries about my brother I would always be listened to and worries about my brother would be dealt with. The staff and management are very friendly they always say hello and always tell me how my brother has been. They answer any questions I ask about my brother, overall it is quite a nice home. The activities are very good and the ladies who organise the activities are excellent.
Spent a lovely day at the Christmas Market which was well attended and great fun. I love coming to see My Mum at the Care home she is so happy and content. Thank you to everyone involved in her care and Merry Christmas everyone!
The home is extremely well run with very good communications. All the staff are approachable and caring. In the short time Mum has been here she has settled very quickly. There have also been a number of good activities to keep the residents entertained.
Since my sister has been in the home, she has received the up most care and attention. She has dementia and can be very awkward at times, I find the staff very caring. I have medical problems myself and find it very hard to visit, but staff keep me informed all the time, I know my sister is safe and cared for.
Prior to my father entering Romford Care Home, we reviewed several before making our choice, and we have been delighted with the way in which Romford Nursing Care Centre delivers on its promises. The level of patient care and attention is excellent, all of the staff go out of their way to help the residents, and the facilities overall are really good.
My mum has been in almost a year and I cannot fault her care and the kindness of the staff. She has dementia and can be difficult at times by not eating and showering but they have done their best to help her. Also, the cleanliness of the home is excellent. Plus the entertainment they do. The food always looks good too. I can give 10 out of 10 for everything. Thank you.
Mum has been here since May, the staff is always very helpful and helps Mum if needed. Rooms are always clean and tidy maintenance man is lovely, any job small or big, it is done. Mum has settled in lovely. Thank you to the staff for all the effort.
Since Mum has resided at Romford Care Home she has received the utmost of care. Every single staff member has all the residents well being at the forefront. Mum has settled in. She seems happy and content and has made herself at home there. The staff also make relatives and all visitors welcome. I am kept updated on any health issues that Mum may be experiencing and I would definitely recommend Romford Care Home for a loved one.
Impressed with the staff. Always so enthusiastic, happy and hardworking. I'm certain they brighten the lives of all the residents and their families. The entertainment is regular and interactive, all the staff join in and it is always friendly and cheerful.
My father recently moved into Romford Care Home, and so far, we are extremely happy overall. The bedroom is beautifully decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The care staff have looked after my father well and seen to all his care needs. The community nurse has been especially attentive and kept a special eye on my father's diabetes/sugar levels and acted swiftly when needed. I couldn't wish for him to be in a better care home.
The home and staff are wonderful. My wife has dementia and the staff are very patient with her. The home is spacious with lovely bedrooms which are bright and airy. Main thing for us is safety. My wife's dementia led to her wandering whilst being cared for at home. The care home gives us the peace of mind that she can walk in a secure place. Only minor criticism is chef has left, so there is a current dip in quality and timing of meals, which I'm assured the care home are aware of and will sort.
My mother has been in Romford Care Home for 7 years with severe dementia. She always looks clean, neat and well-cared for whenever I visit. She has now reached 100 years old and this should reflect the amazing care and attention she is receiving. I would certainly recommend dementia patients consider this nursing home. Thank you to all the staff for their patience and understanding.
The manager we spoke to initially explained everything at what has been an extremely difficult time which we are very grateful for. The staff were very helpful and quickly arranged for my relative to enter the care home from the hospital. They have tried their best to make her feel welcome and at ease in their care.
My wife has been here for two years, in every way it meets my expectations, the room is very clean with an en-suite, very clean as are common areas, a very safe environment. Food is plentiful and varied, served in a pleasant dining room, numerous snacks are also available during the day, and great emphasis is put on hydration. The lounge area is large and bright, with comfortable seating for residents and guests, as a visitor I feel so comfortable, the main large lounge where events are held is on the lower level, this week was a VE Day party celebration, and today we had a singer in the garden, the garden is very large and is an oasis of calm peace and tranquillity’s, so many happy faces, the activities team work very hard to provide a stimulating enjoyable activities programme being both fun and jolly. To summarise the care home has gone from strength to strength, and I am very pleased that my wife is loved and looked after in a very loving caring environment.
My mother-in-law moved into Romford Care Home in December due to dementia progressing. As a family, we knew it was the right decision but were concerned that she would be unhappy, but she settled in very quickly. I think this was due to the friendly and homely environment from other residents and staff, and the modern design, and decorations/furniture. Nothing is ever perfect, and we have had some issues with laundry going missing, but overall we are very happy. I must also say that social services have been excellent.
I have found the staff to be friendly and approachable, much needed in these difficult times, and mindful of the needs of my father, who is fast approaching 98 years old. My dad's room and communal areas are all clean and comfortable. When I've been at the centre during lunch etc the food is hot, of good quality and plentiful.
