View Full Details of Foxton Court Care HomeSadly my mum was entered into end of life care last Tuesday and since then the level of care provided by all staff has been OUTSTANDING. The care was expertly given not only to my mum, but also to my sister and I, who were at her side over this very stressful and emotional time. Day and night staff treated my mum with the upmost respect at all times, ensuring that she was as comfortable as possible, contacting the relevant outside agencies whenever they were required. Housekeeping made readily a room for the comfort of my sister and I, providing toiletries and very fluffy towels and were constantly asking if we needed anything or could do anything for us. The actions of the Foxton Court team, helped my sister and I to be able to cope with this unbelievably sad situation. A huge thank you to all.
This home is fantastic. Over the past 5 years whole my mother has been resident here all aspects of her care has been brilliant. Cleanliness is of a high standard and the staff are always fantastic. I do think after researching lots of homes prior to my mother going into the home, this is the best in the area.
I cannot praise all the staff at Foxton Court high enough. They go over and above with care, support, kindness and friendship. It hasn't been the best start to the year with my dad, staff have been very kind and caring not only towards my father but to the whole family for which we will be forever grateful.
Mom has been a resident for just over one year, she has dementia, poor sight and mobility issues. All the staff treat all the residents with kindness and compassion. Mum is treated an an individual and all her care needs are met. He room is comfortable and she enjoys the food. I know she is in good hands.
Mum has been in residence for a number of years now. Overall she seems to be happy with the care she gets as are her family. There have been many changes over the years with owners and staff. COVID was not good for anyone. All the staff take time to speak to her where they are carers, cleaners, cooks and laundry ladies.
My father has settled in nicely at the home. His needs are very well cared for. He is treated with respect by all the staff he had a recent fall and the following protocol was taken to hospital. It is comforting to know he is in a place of safety and caring.
Mum moved into Foxton Court in March 2024, staff helped ease Mum into her new home, it's such a life change for her. The home is clean and welcoming, rooms are personalised for the individual. Staff are lovely to both Mum and visitors. We're included in tea/coffee breaks. TV reception is sometimes very poor in the rooms - signal is often lost. Think homes are very pricey in general.
My mother is very happy at Foxton Court. She has company and good food and feels safe and cared for. The facilities are spotless and although the staff are busy, it is quite easy to find a member of staff if I need to speak to someone. My mother sometimes has to wait some time if she needs staff assistance but has no complaints. It is a great weight off my mind knowing she is in good hands.
My Mum spent time in Foxton Court Morpeth for respite care. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support provided for Foxton Court. Our experience was extremely positive in respect of the facilities and standard of care. It was a difficult time for both Mum and me, we were venturing into new territory. My stress levels and anxiety were through the roof, however, the staff at Foxton Court helped us both. The staff was extremely supportive, kind, and compassionate. I felt confident that Mum was in the best place and was being cared for. The staff was friendly and attentive (Mum has multiple issues including sight loss, dysphasia, and poor mobility) she felt comfortable at home. The rooms are comfortable and well set out. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Foxton Court.
I came to live at Foxton Court following a stroke which left me with a paralysis to one side. The staff have been very patient and caring in helping me come to terms with my disability. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean, you can bring in your own pieces of furniture to make your room seem home from home. The food is good and there is lots of choice throughout the day.
I have received continual loving care in every respect since I came. The staff are just amazingly compassionate and hard-working. I was glad to have a commode in my room at night.
My experience of this home is a positive one. My mother is well cared for here, and her needs, for the most part, are well met. The staff, in particular, are excellent. They are kind and considerate. They are gentle and very caring. She says so herself. They also interact well with relatives and have time to talk. My mother seems calm and relaxed when I visit. I am pleased that they now have a good activity programme for residents, as that is so important! It is difficult for my mother to make relationships as she is blind, so in a way, she needs more individual care, which I know is difficult.
The care my mum has received during the three weeks she has been here has been absolutely first-class and outstanding. Mum's health has improved dramatically since being here, and it is fantastic to see her so settled and happy. I cannot recommend the staff enough; they are so caring, attentive, warm, friendly and absolutely first-class. As a family, we would highly recommend Foxton Court Care Home - they are brilliant.
Everything is good or excellent apart from the room. It is quite dark with a small window and a partly sloping roof. Overall, this makes it feel a little claustrophobic.
Overall, our experience has been mainly positive. There have been a few times when we were not happy about something, but they were dealt with immediately. There have also been times (quite frequently) when there has been no afternoon tea served, and I do think the residents need this. I have marked activities as poor, as there have been very few activities to judge!
Excellent staff, they are very patient and kind with my grandad and the family. He feels very comfortable and at home and has often referred to the home as a five star hotel. Food and activities are great, home is always clean and tidy.
Mum stayed at Foxton Court for respite care as I had a hip replacement and could not care for her. Mum was happy and well looked after. The staff were brilliant and mum's room was kept clean and tidy. She especially enjoyed the church services which were held in the lounge. The staff were kind and throughtful.
Foxton Court is a warm, welcoming home. All the staff are very friendly and caring, and nothing seems like too much trouble.
The staff are very caring and friendly and nothing is too much bother and they can't do enough for you. I am enjoying the food and the choices are plentiful. My room is warm and cosy and I love my comfortable bed.
The care my dad receives is generally good, he is well looked after. He reports that all the carers are good And treat him with respect. The food he gets is good although he would prefer his main meal in the evening.
