View Full Details of Bloomfield CourtMy mother has been at the home about 16 months now. She was a bit mithered when she first arrived but she settled in quite quickly. Bloomfield Court have some very good carers who are very friendly with mom and family alike. Overall we are pleased with the care that mom is receiving.
We were given three choices of home for Mom and from the moment we stepped through the door, we felt Bloomfield Court was the right place. The staff are so welcoming and such a great asset to Bloomfield Court. We really couldn't have found a better place. The staff are attentive and really friendly. The rooms are a good size with plenty of storage available. Bloomfield Court is a credit to the Anchor group. I would certainly recommend it.
Generally, all options are to a satisfactory standard, can not say any more because I am not using the care home.
Very pleased with all the staff, all dedicated to their jobs, looked after Mom very well and couldn't do enough for her. We would recommend this home to anyone. My brother and myself were very grateful.
My husband was a resident for two weeks in respite. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and he was content. My only complaint was the weekend when it was difficult to enter and leave the premises.
Dad's been here for six months. We had a few teething problems with Dad settling but all staff were on hand to help us. The home always put Dad's care first. Always good communication on both sides.
My father has been at Bloomfield Court for four months now after moving in with Alzheimer's, I believe he is as happy and content as he possibly could be after an initial settling-in period. All the staff are extremely caring, compassionate and show empathy towards my father and all the other residents. I would recommend Bloomfield Court to anybody considering needing care for a relative with Alzheimer's.
My mom has been a resident since October 2023, this was a huge step for us as a family, like it is for anyone who loves their parents. I just want to say how accommodating and welcoming the staff made my mum feel. I've spent time at Bloomfield. In the garden and at the front door, on the bench, a lot of people come back and forth, staff, family members for the other residents and everyone I've come in contact with, there has always been a positive vibe. Well done everyone there and keep up the excellent work.
Since my mom came into Bloomfield Court she is very settled. I have no worries or concerns about my mom's care. If I have any problems it is quickly sorted out. Staff very helpful.
It is the greatest comfort to know Mum is safe and happy with the staff and residents. We are happy with all her care and have no complaints. Thank you.
My uncle has been here twelve weeks now. The whole experience has been very pleasant and stress-free for both my uncle and myself. The care he receives is second to none, I have personally seen a positive change in him. All staff are professional and very caring.
My husband has been a resident since 9th April 2024. The care he is getting is second to none. The staff are very caring and attentive. They are on the ball with health needs, getting doctors etc. when needed.
From when I was first shown around Bloomfield Court, I had a good feeling about the home and knew it was the place we wanted our mother to be. We weren't disappointed. Although she was only there two weeks, (sadly passing away), the staff were lovely and caring. Everything about Bloomfield Court was first class.
My father stayed at Bloomfield Court for approximately eighteen months. His behaviour was extremely testing but all of his carers were extremely nice and tolerant of his behaviour. I cannot speak highly enough of all the carers and staff at Bloomfield Court.
Mom has been here for over 12 months now. This is the second review I have done. Twice in recent months, Mom has had a medical issue which meant staying in the hospital. Both have which have set her back. Both times I have noticed a good improvement when Mom has been back for a few weeks. I cannot fault the care and attention Mom is given. All the staff I see are lovely and treat Mom well. I am very happy I chose Bloomfield Court.
I've found Mum's care fantastic. Any issues are dealt with straight away, especially medical ones. She's content and happy in her own words. "I really like it here, the staff is lovely and looks after me. I love the food and my room and don't want to move anywhere else.".
When I first came to look at Bloomfield Court, I knew as soon as I walked in I wanted my dad to live here. The atmosphere is lovely. Every single person I have come into contact with has been amazing and genuinely care. I couldn't wish for a better place for my dad to be. My dad absolutely loves it here.
We visited a number of residential homes in the spring/summer of this year and Bloomfield Court was the most welcoming. Mum has been a short-stay resident for almost 6 weeks now. We feel very assured as a family that Mum is well cared for. All staff are very approachable, accommodating and friendly.
We are very pleased with the care our mother received, the constant checks, administering of medication and taking to the toilet. The room was lovely and spacious, warm but also airy and clean. She commented how much she enjoyed the food. Visitors were made very welcome, which was extremely important.
My wife moved into Bloomfield Court in October 2022 when we visited Bloomfield to have a look around. A staff member showed us around, a very confident lady. She knows her job and said if we have any questions we can phone and ask. Me and my wife thought she was the manager until we were told differently the other week that she was a duty manager. We were shocked to find this out as she has worked there a number of years, through covid. We don't understand how she hasn't become a manager. We find all the staff are lovely there. Nothing too much for them.
