View Full Details of Clarendon Court Care HomeMy mum stayed sadly for a short time at Clarendon Court, she had a stroke on Boxing Day and after a stay in hospital was transferred there. The home has a caring friendly atmosphere. The room was spacious and homely, they have made an effort to make what could be a clinical space warm and friendly and although it is quite big it seemed smaller and more intimate. My mum passed away on the 7th of Feb the staff were caring, friendly and supportive just what we needed at a very difficult time.
The staff are all very helpful and always more than happy to help with any question. My friend has settled in nicely and is very happy there. The staff always made a fuss of him and treat him with the greatest respect.
My mum came into Clarendon Court from hospital and even before she arrived the staff had been in touch with me to understand more about her, the circumstances and our family. Mum, along with my elderly dad, were so well looked after and we were all made so welcome by all the staff. The whole experience and genuine kindness and caring from the staff helped mum and us all at a very difficult time. I just want to say a huge thank you and would happily recommend Clarendon Court to anyone.
My mum is being very well looked after and her needs are being met excellently. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Having experienced a few care homes in the past with my grandparents, this is the best one I have been to. Keep up the good work.

Mum was admitted to Clarendon Court at the end of February 2024, following a hospital stay. The staff were helpful from the start, helping Mum settle in and ensuring her comfort. Mum sadly had a terminal condition which soon reduced her ability to move and communicate. The staff were wonderful: talking to and caring for Mum round the clock. Sadly, Mum passed away in June, but the staff helped out and cared for her until the end. I visited nearly every day throughout Mum's time at Clarendon and have been fully happy with the excellent care that she received.
This was my first experience of a stay in a care home due to a broken leg. The staff and care given were always 110% I couldn't have asked for anything more, a massive well done to all. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff was so friendly at all times.
This is the second time I have had to spend time at Clarendon Court in the last 14 months so I knew what high standard of care I would receive. Staff were always willing to help and care for you whenever you asked. They maintain your dignity in every aspect of care and make sure your every need is met. All meals were healthy and very enjoyable. I've enjoyed my stay here very much.
We are delighted with the care and friendliness of everyone at Clarendon Court. My father is very happy there.
From the moment I was wheeled through the doors at Clarendon Court, I was greeted by happy, smiling faces and this continued through my nine and a half week stay. A very happy environment. The staff were very helpful and supported me throughout my time there, especially the physio team. My safety was well managed when moving around. The food was varied and tasty. The housekeeping team kept my room and bathroom spotlessly clean and my cloths nicely laundered. The activities manager kept us well with his gentle exercises throughout the week and prepared many games in the afternoon and cinema in the afternoon of the weekend. Now back home I miss all.
The staff are very good and friendly, all of them seem to know all the residents and greet them cheerfully. The place is well-kept and never smells of urine. A lot of effort is put into suitable activities. They seem to be a very caring bunch and I have recommended the home to other people.
Helped my Dad tremendously in his recovery from what has been a difficult time. Great support!
The care home was very welcoming from the beginning of our experience. My Mother settled in well and expressed her liking of the home and its other residents and staff. During the final few weeks of my Mother's stay, the staff provided excellent nursing care and remained alert and attentive to her needs. There were only one or two occasions when night staff appears less attentive. On the whole, excellent staff were present.
We cannot express enough how wonderful and kind all of the staff have been at Clarendon Court Care Home. From the smiling welcome of reception and managers to staff and residents throughout Mum's stay. The nursing care throughout was professional, caring and compassionate. Mum's frailty and pain were always considered and every effort was made to ensure her pathway to her end-of-life care was followed. The nicest staff I have ever met in a place of this size. Everyone was helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would give everyone at least a 9 out of 10 and most of them a 10 out of 10.
As soon as I enter the building, the receptionist welcomes me and is always extremely helpful. The nursing staff are caring and my friend always seems clean, comfortable and very relaxed and happy. It is always a good experience and I visit every week!
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and I really value the fantastic care and support they give to my dad. The home is always very clean and well maintained and I'm very grateful for the ongoing care staff give - particularly as I live a distance away in London.
