View Full Details of Charles Court Care HomeStaff very friendly and always willing to help and the same goes for management. His room was homely and comfortable. I am very grateful for the care and consideration given to my friend.
My late Mother spent the last three months of her life at Charles Court. She was almost blind with epilepsy and Alzheimer's. She had reverted to her Italian language but the staff went the extra mile to try and communicate and comfort her in her own language. The staff from the HCA's to the management were exactly who you would want to look after your most loved one.
My mother received excellent care whilst she was in the home. I have nothing but praise for the staff.
I was so happy to see my friend so happy. When she first came here she was so low and ill. She has told me that nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. My friend has her hair done regularly and is so much like her old self. Thank you all for your hard work.
Very ill resident treated with utmost respect, dignity and affection. Resident has no regular visitors. He is 'very happy'. Thank you.
Well managed - great staff, friendly and professional. Good understanding of my dad's issues.
The atmosphere in the care home is wonderful. It is spotless. The staff are fantastic, they are so sweet with her. I could not wish for a better care home for her.
My father was in Charles Court Care Home. Excellent facilities and nursing and care.
I have found Charles Court in Hereford to be the most caring and professional place. My aunt could not wish for better. The staff are diligent and thorough but always with a friendly, personal and very human touch. Nothing seems to be too much for them; whether in caring for my aunt and her changing needs as her condition progresses; or in supporting me and her family helping us cope with her illness. My aunt has given the team at Charles Court challenges as her health has declined. At every stage I am kept up to date with what is going on and how they intend to handle it. Their calm professionalism and understanding of the situation is always reassuring. From the receptionist at the front door, to the nursing and care staff, the activities coordinator and right up to the home manager, I feel everyone has my aunt's best interests at heart and they have got to know her and me. This all makes having a relative in a care setting much easier to handle.
Thank you Charles Court Care Home for the exceptional care you have shown my mum. As nominated visitor it was fantastic to be back in seeing Mum in person - she looks well, tidy, has put on weight and no different to now we last saw her, pre-Covid. The communication regarding visiting has been fantastic and we've been looked after well.
My Mum has been a resident of Charles Court for 2 years following three years of age-related ill health, in and out of the hospital. Since then her health has improved enormously, fresh regular meals and the care and attention from staff have given her her life back. A recent problem was swiftly dealt with by the nursing staff, and I was kept up to date by telephone. During this particularly difficult time, with the Covid-19 situation, it is reassuring to know that she is well and in good hands.
My mum came to Charles Court with dementia following a fall. The care she received in the final months of her life was excellent. The staff were caring, compassionate and treated her with dignity and respect. Importantly they also supported us over a difficult time, keeping us fully informed and involved to the end. We are grateful for the care and comfort they provided.
Felt very confident in the care and attention given to mother. She was kept clean and tidy and well-fed. The staff were very caring and looked after all the residents well.
Professional and caring, Mum was happy with everyone at Charles Court.
Mum was offered a room for 2 weeks respite following many weeks in hospital. In just one week, she has improved beyond my expectations - she's being dressed - eating and drinking and so much more alert, all thanks to the team at Charles Court.
Both my mother and father were in Charles Court. My father passed away in the very early hours of today after circa 4 months in Charles Court. Throughout, he had received the most caring and attentive care. All the staff, including management, have been so happy in their work and is the type of home you hope your parents will utilise. We are more than happy that my mother will receive happy support in the future. It must be hard for staff at many times but they always remain willing.
My wife has been a resident at Charles Court for 30 months, she suffers from severe Lewy Body dementia. Her care and nursing support are excellent and cannot be bettered. Her personal carer is wonderful and so caring with her. Their relationship is second to none and this is helping my wife with her illness and long may it continue. Without this care, her life would be very difficult for the family.
The care that my Father-in-law received was very good. The staff attended all his needs and were caring and thoughtful. Communication with all staff including management was good and accurate. Overall we were satisfied with the care received from all at Charles Court.
My wife has been cared for since June 2015 and I have been pleased with the care she has received. The staff are so pleasing and always so courteous. The cleanliness is exceptional and the food is also very good. I love the occasional meal there myself and found it to be very good.
Generally very good. Not sure my Mother always takes her medication. She doesn't like tablets and needs supervision.
