View Full Details of Greenways Court Care HomeMoved my mother into Greenways in August 2024 due to a massive decline in care at her previous home and have been very impressed with the care she has received since. The staff are always willing to listen to any concerns raised and keep me regularly informed of how my mother is doing. I have also seen a great improvement in my mother's general wellbeing since the move which is greatly down to the improvement in care she is receiving. Overall I'm very happy with the home and care my mother is receiving.
My mum became a resident at Greenways Court Care Home four years ago until she sadly passed away very recently. During her time at Greenways she was an integral park of every day life there and was involved in many of the stimulating and interesting activities on offer. It was only in the latter two months that her health deteriorated. As a family we are eternally grateful to the staff and carers for the kind and compassionate care she received. This enabled her to have a peaceful and dignified ending to her 98 year old long life.
Mam settled from day one. Seemed to love to get out and about on her walker and mixed well with others. The home always looked and smelt very clean, which was always welcoming. Mam herself was always was clean and her clothing was always taken care of which how she always presented herself when she was well. All the staff on both floors always made you welcome. Mam was on the Grace floor staff were brilliant with her from the beginning to the very end. I would especially thank them for helping us through the last few days which always worried me when the time came. Very big thank you.
In general, the care is excellent, compassionate and resident-centred. The activity coordinator is exceptional, organising a variety of activities for all residents.
My grandmother receives excellent care here, she has activities and outings and personalised care.
The staff at Greenways Court Care Home made a difficult decision to re-home Gran and take her from independent living an easy decision. The kindness, professionalism and good humour all the staff have shown my gran and myself has been outstanding. We are all extremely lucky knowing Gran is safe, well looked after, happy and content.
Since my aunt moved into Greenways Court Care Home I have been very happy with the staff and their treatment of my aunt. However, in the past couple of weeks, my aunt has needed greater assistance as she has been prone to falling. The staff are brilliant. I can't and don't want to single out any individual as they are all excellent. They treat my aunt in a friendly courteous and respectful manner. They are always willing to listen and discuss my questions I have and always do so in a friendly manner and with a smile. It's a team effort and that caring attitude is instilled in all staff. For me, Greenways Court is the best decision I made for my aunt's care. I can't ask for better. Thank you everyone. My aunt loves being there and that's what counts - well done.
Having been visiting friends over the last six years in this care home I find everybody very helpful. On talking to my friends they say they enjoy the food and are looked after very well. The place is very clean and the rooms are a good size too, having been in a care home nearby I can see this place is very well run. Having trouble walking the staff are on the ball to help me which means a lot from the young staff to the managers. Keep up the good work. Well done.
My uncle has only been a resident for a month but from the moment he walked into the home we knew he would settle in. The staff made him feel so welcome and even arranged for him to have his meals with a gentleman he knew. His room is lovely, spotlessly clean and a good size. The staff are excellent, making him feel cared for and safe. Nothing is too much trouble and we, his relatives are so thrilled he feels happy and has a renewed interest in life. Thank you all.
We were highly recommended this care home via the home carers who looked after mam. After our initial visit to the home, we felt it had the most homely feel and felt that it would be right for mam. We were introduced to all the staff from the very beginning and they all showed total compassion and were extremely caring towards the whole family. We have visited the care home on a daily basis and mam has settled in great and now thriving. This is clearly due to the level of care and attention she is receiving from the staff. When speaking with friends and family we have nothing but praise for the care home and would recommend Greenways Court to anyone. Outstanding.
When I visit Greenways Court, there's always a happy greeting and you can feel that the place has a lovely atmosphere. The residents are well looked after and cared for with plenty of activities for them to do daily. They also get to say what activities they would like to do, and what food they like best. There is also a hairdresser in weekly. The food supplied is of an excellent quality. I would happily recommend this care home to family and friends.
A kind, caring, supportive environment that feels safe and happy.
After caring for my mam at home and being increasingly worried about her ability to cope with the dementia and infections, we felt we were losing Mam. Since her admission here, we have her back and can rest easy knowing that she is extremely well cared for.
Very difficult decision for us for Dad going into residential care, but the transition has been made very easy for us because of the guidance of the staff. Everyone is keen to help and kindly to us all, especially Dad. We have accepted a bed on the dementia floor on the proviso that Dad is offered the next available ground floor room and we are hopeful that this will happen soon. Dad is not suitable for dementia care at this time, hence our hope for a prompt move.
My dad was a bit worried initially about moving into a care home but the reception he received from first walking through the door immediately set his mind at ease. All the staff from management to the carers and to the housekeepers were really warm and welcoming. A week in he has found he knows many of the other residents and even some of the staff. All the staff have helped enormously integrating my dad in with the other residents - watching films in the lounge and at meal times in the restaurant. I feel very lucky to know that he is in such capable hands here.
The carer staff and admin are all very friendly. They are very dedicated to caring for their residents. Good communication with family regarding any changes or needs.
Very caring and supportive to my aunt. One staff member in particular contacts me and updates me regularly. Always feel welcome when I visit the care home from the home manager and team. Delighted with the care given to my aunt.
I have found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The rooms are well-maintained and the lounge areas are well-presented and comfortable. My requests for additional support for my sister have ben taken on board and addressed. Overall, I have found Greenways Court to be a very good care home.
My mum moved in August 2023; she has never been happier. Every single member of the staff makes my mum feel special and important. After four falls in one week, she had to go into care for her own safety, something she always said she wouldn’t do. Greenways is on par with a posh hotel; spotlessly clean, light, airy and very warm. No expense has been spared to give the residents the best of everything. The food is of the highest standard, and the residents have plenty of choices for each meal and plenty of snacks, fruit and hot/cold drinks throughout the day. Nothing is a problem from the minute you walk through the door to the minute you leave. A hot drink and snacks are always available as you arrive, and a happy smile or chat from Victoria on the desk. I have been kept up to date with regular updates about my mum. It’s home-from-home I have no hesitation in recommending Greenways to others; they won't be disappointed.
My first impression of Greenways Court was like booking into a hotel for short stays. This memory did not last long, very soon the feeling of home from home took over. Meeting fellow residents and staff soon made me feel at home.
