View Full Details of The Beeches Residential Care HomeSince my husband has been at The Beeches he has been well looked after. The staff are welcoming and happy to help including management and all other staff. I enjoy visiting my husband and speaking to the staff who now call me by my first name which makes me feel good.
My mum came to The Beeches in November for respite care following the passing of my father. Although the beginning was difficult and emotionally challenging she has since settled in wonderfully. The staff have been incredibly empathetic and caring, making both Mom and family feel welcome and supported.
I have visited The Beeches for over two years and I would like to thank every member of staff for making me so welcome. Day in day out staff are caring, friendly, welcoming and sort out any problems. I have moved in myself recently and my room is lovely, some furniture from home to complement other furniture. Lots of love, care and TLC to me and family. Thank you stars.
Very friendly. Always happy. Always going the extra mile to help. Considerate.
My father moved to the Beeches Care home 12 months ago. He settled very quickly due to the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff, including management, are fabulous. Really approachable and very caring.
Very happy with the care and staff. I'm kept informed if there is any problems. My mom is well cared for and does like her food/cakes.
This home has become our family. The care team gives 100% to every resident in their care. My Mum is not only cared for but loved which is the best medicine. Communication from home to family is brilliant so always updated with changes. Thank you.
We cannot fault the care Mom has received since moving in last February all the care and support team not forgetting one person in particular who mom has made a lovely friendship with are so caring, approachable and nothing is to much trouble. Mom appears very happy. Just one little thing, we have requested a new carpet for moms room which we were told hadn't been replaced from first being fitted and they agreed with our request and would be sorted and a new one fitted this hasn't happened as yet still waiting. Thank you to everyone . Giving a 3 star for cleanliness due to carpet.
I'm worried Mother isn't eating properly. I ask what have you had for lunch or dinner and the reply is they bring me something. She orders a jacket potato that doesn't exist, there are very few greens on the menu daily and one day a sausage roll and wedges but no greens. It is a lovely home but the food is very poor. I've had in-laws in care homes and the menu and food are far superior to The Beeches. Next time you have a meeting review the menus and ask would my mother eat this rubbish.
My mother's health has recently declined greatly due to her dementia. I cannot thank the staff enough for their care towards her and for helping to keep her dignity. They have also supported me during this difficult time.
Fantastic care home. My mother went there last December. The care is superb. The food is amazing. The staff are so friendly and very understanding. They always keep in touch about Mom's health and always keep me in touch about Mom's hospital appointments. Keep up the good work. I have no worries anymore about Mom being safe in a lovely car home.
I cannot express enough how wonderful every member of The Beeches team were to my mom in her time there. In her last few weeks my mom was treated with such care, consideration and dignity and was made to feel valued. She called them all angels and they are. Thank you all so much. Would recommend to anyone thinking of moving in. It's a great home from home.
Our lovely mom is treated so well here. It is her first time in a residential home and the staff are so lovely and caring they have made her feel so welcome. She was very vulnerable when she arrived at Christmas time but has improved so much in a matter of weeks. She feels very safe and settled. The staff go above and beyond. She is looked after so well. The food is delicious and she loves the activities put on for the residents. The rooms are so cosy and clean the gardens are lovely and the home is also very big and homely. If you are looking for a place for your loved one don't look any further you have found it.
The majority of the staff are friendly, obliging and caring and know the residents and understand their needs well. A number of staff are long-term employees. The kitchen offers good quality food and always goes the extra mile for individual requests. The home is well cared for in terms of furnishings and is bright and welcoming.
The staff at The Beeches Residential Care Home are always friendly and helpful. My mother has been a resident for three years. She is well cared for. The staff know me by name and always greet me on arrival. The home has a family atmosphere. A big thank you to the manager and staff.
My husband has been in the home since September 2022. The staff are welcoming and friendly. My husband is well cared for and seems to be content. I know he is warm, fed and safe. He has had a couple of falls due to his condition and the staff have been quick to respond and called the paramedics to ensure his well-being. The carers are all lovely, professional and very caring. They all treat my husband with love and understanding.
My father moved into the home last February with complete loss of mobility. He has been cared for extremely well and, despite his declining health, the entire family are delighted with the care he receives.
My mother's health has recently declined dramatically and I want to thank all of the amazing staff for the kindness and support they show, not only to Mom but to family members who visit. Her dignity is kept intact concerning personal needs, her health needs are provided with frequent consultation with the GP. She still has her sense of humour and laughs and jokes with the staff, who she considers friends as she has known many of them since she first went to The Beeches Residential Care Home over eighteen months ago. I have no hesitation in recommending The Beeches for your loved one. The accommodation, cleanliness, food, activities, hairdresser, cafe and garden all combine to make this a perfect home-from-home.
My father is well looked after by all the employees at the home and he is fond of them. The home is extremely well-run. The only reason I have given four stars is because of the staffing problems when it comes to Dad having appointments at the dentist, hospital etc. We live an hour away from the home and always try to cover these appointments within the family, as we are told that the home do not have the staff to cover these outside appointments, even though we are prepared to pay. Our fear is there may be occasions when we are totally unable to make the journey due to our own age and medical conditions, which is becoming a problem at the moment.
Staff are always ready to help with any queries I may have and my dad is very pleased with his care and is very happy at this care home.
