My family are deeply grateful to all the staff and carers at Verwood House Care Home for the wonderful kindness and care that they show to my mother. She is happy and looked after so well. The activities are wonderful and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Verwood Care Home.

I personally have worked in many care/nursing homes and would highly recommend Verwood House to anyone considering using this care provider. Overall the staff first and foremost are delightful, sympathetic, and respectful in every way possible towards the residents and their family and friends. I would personally be very proud to work in a facility of this caliber. I have the greatest respect for the management and staff alike.

I am really pleased that Mum has settled so well. She tells me she is very happy and all the staff are very kind and helpful. The activities offered at the home are fabulous and Mum is trying new things and most importantly enjoying them. I have found the staff to be very professional and helpful. I would recommend Verwood Care Home.

Perfect happy care home, with beautiful staff. Especially the lady who made the transition from Mum's home to care home very calming. The wellness manager is the loveliest person who helps all residents with anything, nothing ever too much trouble and most importantly makes everyone laugh. Could not ask for a better home for my Mum to be homed in.

My mum needed to come down to Verwood House Care Home for palliative care. All of the team at Verwood House provided us with great support, from the management team in helping to expedite her move to Verwood, to the team of carers and support staff in providing her with compassion and dignity during her final days. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Verwood House Care Home to anyone looking for care for their elderly family or friends.

Collectively the team at Verwood House Care Home provided a first-rate service for Mum in the final weeks of her life. They moved quickly to match our timelines at the start of the engagement, then without exception provided a level of care that made Mum feel valued, as relaxed as possible and at ease in what were very difficult circumstances for her. My family and I would happily recommend the team at Verwood Care Home to anyone else needing care for their loved ones in their final chapter!

My mother has lived at Verwood House, now, since February 2024, and she loves it there. The staff are wonderful and very helpful, and the wellbeing coach does an amazing job of organising entertainment events that all the residents enjoy. I really can't fault the home or the staff in any way, and they always make me feel more than welcome when I travel from France, where I live, to visit Mum. I would recommend Verwood House wholeheartedly to anyone who has an elderly relative needing a care home.

The staff and management at Verwood House have all been extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful during my stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I came after my operation to a fractured hip. I now feel I have the confidence and ability to go back to my own home. Verwood House is airy and bright with a beautiful view to enjoy, making one feel at one with nature. The chefs are very accommodating, ensuring we have plenty of food and drink. I am grateful for helping me recover.

My wife and I attend Verwood House on a weekly basis with our two Bedlington Terrier dogs as part of the Pets as Therapy programme. The staff are always welcoming, smiling and positive and Verwood House is always very clean in all areas. Verwood House provides a homely environment with regular entertainment. The residents are well cared for and often make positive comments to us about their care.

We're so pleased we chose Verwood House to care for our mother. The difference in Mum is amazing everyone makes us feel like part of the Verwood House family. We genuinely look forward to each visit (daily) All the team are wonderful, special mention for the well-being coach. Well done team, you've made our family very happy.

My father received excellent and kind end-of-life care in a home with wonderful staff. I can't speak highly enough of the establishment. At all times my father's needs were attended to and the overall standard of facilities, food, drink, etc were much to be applauded. Thank you Verwood House - you did him proud.

My father was a resident from October to April. He received wonderful care for the duration and despite experiencing the loss of his wife (67 years of marriage) he was looked after so well. The staff were kind, loving and cared for him dearly. He in turn responded positively and although he had progressive dementia he was happy for the short time he was a resident and often mentioned this to us when we visited him. I am so pleased we made the decision to entrust Verwood House to look after him and would highly recommend them to anyone considering this home for their relative.

After a very long stay in hospital, we were devastated that Dad had to give up his independence and home to come into the care system. We, however, have had a fantastic experience right from the start here with the Verwood House. Dad certainly hasn’t lost his independence and was welcomed with open arms and every concern we had disappeared! Every member right from the start, the wonderful care manager, the sales team, care givers, entertainment team, maintenance, chefs, receptionists and cleaners are fantastic, not only do they look after Dad fabulously with nothing being too much trouble, they also care for us his family! We consider Verwood House and all their many staff our family and have been made to feel exactly the same, we can't recommend them highly enough.

We're very happy with Verwood and the way that they are looking after our dad. He has settled very quickly, is eating well and the staff are all lovely with him. He has advanced dementia so probably not the easiest to care for, but he seems to be really well looked after and content.

We're very happy with Verwood and the way that they are looking after our dad. He has settled very quickly, is eating well and the staff are all lovely with him. He has advanced dementia so probably not the easiest to care for, but he seems to be really well looked after and content.
