View Full Details of Savile ParkMy mum has been in Saville Park care home for two years. In that time she has received excellent care. The staff are professional, friendly and caring. They go above and beyond every day to make Mum's life there as comfortable, interesting and home like at the sane time as caring for her physical, mental and emotional well being. Mum enjoys all the activities put on in the home especially the singing. Thank you to all at Savile Park. Keep up the good work.
The members of staff that I have had the most contact with are very friendly and helpful. The manager is experienced and professional as well as being friendly and approachable. The rooms are lovely and warm. They try to entertain the residents and encourage them to take part in activities. Mum is happy and most importantly looks after.
Always kept up to date with any changed in circumstances.
I find the home very caring and compassionate when looking after my mum who has dementia. She has been living at the home for 2 years 6 months. She is safe and secure which gives me and the family feel at peace . There are plenty activities for her if she feels like joining in and she looks forward too and enjoys her meals. The staff are wonderful with the residents .
Savile Park was an ideal home for Mum - providing comfort, safety, stimulation, caring staff, and friendships. She lived there for six years until she died at age 90 in comfort and with dignity. Her family and 'Bobby' - dog visited throughout her stay and were made welcome. Meals and refreshments were appreciated and enjoyed. Her long stay there is a testament to keeping her well until the end.
I said I'd never put Mum in a home, it was an agonising choice but I'd say now it was a good choice for her. She's outgoing and interactive with the carers and other residents and her dementia doesn't keep her insular. She participates in the activities, especially when they have a singer or dancing as entertainment. More is the point she's safe. She can wander around the vast home and stay safe. She has her hair done every week and chiropody services when she needs it. Mum is looked after and any problems are dealt with by management as soon as possible.
So glad my mum is in Saville Park Care Home. The staff are amazing, always helpful, happy and very friendly. I can go home after visiting knowing she is in good hands. The home itself is beautiful, modern and clean. Mum's own room has everything she needs, the food is amazing and we can dine with Mum whenever we want. Activitities are numerous, onsite hairdresser, beautiful gardens and lovely views from all windows. Excellent all around.
The staff were caring and warm and ensured that the home was a calm and nurturing environment, Mum had access to and took part in some lovely activities including gardening, bowling and boat trips. There was also a visit from some Llamas. Effort was made to consider my mum as an individual She was French and French songs would be played in the lounge area for her. Also, local schoolchildren would come in to practice their French with her.
The reception area is bright and cheerful. The receptionist is always informative and helpful. Home always appears clean and fresh smelling. Carers seem to know all resident's names. Ready to answer any questions and provide reassurance if needed. Meals and menus look fabulous and my aunt says the food is tasty. There is an activities programme also. I would happily pay for more outside visits if they were offered. My aunt has no complaints so I'm happy.
Mum is getting settled in with the kindness and care of the carers. She seems very relaxed and looks better in herself. The team are very welcoming to her and all of us. Feels homely and spacious with lovely communal spaces.
very pleased by the care provided, my parents are always treated as individuals and not just numbers. The food is always excellent with a good choice. Recently, while my mother had a particular health problem, it was treated very professionally.
The staff are wonderful, always caring and compassionate. Management are friendly and helpful. Premises spacious and warm.
Very pleased that my father was cared for at this home for the last three years of his life. The administration and some of the care team leaders and care staff were especially caring and looked after him as if he were their own family. Recommend.
Front of house person is a star. Always happy, very helpful and welcoming. She is a genuine asset. Supervises have always communicated well on my mum’s needs and any changes that happen. This here is a good place to be for conditions my mum suffered.
My sister had a lovely, but short, stay at Saville Park. Her carers have been exceptionally kind and considerate.
While I appreciate the need for a necessary amount of paperwork needs to be carried out (client-daily records), I feel the balance is too biased towards clerical demands when clients are left unattended, and their needs are not being met because of this. Care, when given, is to a good standard, but there is not enough of it.
My mother moved into Savile Park care home in August 2020. This was during the Covid pandemic, and I was unable to look around the home prior to her move due to lockdown restrictions. She remained at Savile Park until her death in May 2023. I was always struck by the friendliness of all the staff and their care and support for my mother, who had dementia. End-of-life care was exemplary. Many thanks to all staff at Savile Park!
The staff in the care home treated my mam on an individual level as they did with everyone who they supported through the last years of their lives. A credit to everyone involved at the home.
It was a relief to find somewhere for respite care for Mum following a stay in the hospital. Although now back in her own home, we would have no hesitation in returning to Savile Park if and when being at home became impossible. Mum was safe, cared for and was able t miss with others. I appreciated not having to worry about her for a few months, knowing she was in a good care home.
Sadly my father did not have very long in the home but he was very well looked after. The home is very nicely arranged with privacy if required but plenty of communal areas. The food was excellent and all the staff were very welcoming and caring. I felt very confident that my father was being well looked after which gave me great comfort.
