I have been impressed by the care, dedication and professionalism of all the staff since my mum became a resident in April, especially under some trying circumstances which have since seemed to have abated. Five stars!

Still happy enough with Brinnington Hall. However, whether your loved one receives excellent or just reasonable care, seems to be down to the lottery of who is on duty that day of the week! Sincerely hope that the takeover by another care group which is now well and truly underway, Does not lead to too many changes of personnel. Some have gone though it is difficult to know what the reasons were! Anyway, overall, I am still a keen fan of Brinnington Hall and wish the hard-working carers all the best with their work. Brinnington Hall Care Home in Stockport is simply excellent. From the first day when my mother moved in, she was extremely happy and so well looked after by the excellent and caring staff. We were met at the door by the very friendly and professional admin/front-of-house staff who explained everything in detail and were so welcoming. My mother's room is very comfortable, clean, tidy and has everything she needs. The care staff are extremely friendly, attentive and always on hand. The lounge/dining room is large, welcoming and very comfortable, and it did not take long for my mother to meet people and make friends. She really enjoyed the 'knit and nat' session, plus the guest singer who was excellent and really enjoyable to see everyone joining in. There are plenty of activities for everyone to join in, should they wish to. Thank you.

Walking into Brinnington Hall, I knew it would be the right place for my mum. From the outset, the staff and management were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The staff worked closely with the family to ensure Mum's move was stress-free. Mum has settled into Brinnington Hall and is very happy in her surroundings and the caring staff that look after her. As a family, we are delighted with the love and care provided by all the staff. Thank you so much.

Walked in first time, and knew it was the right place for my father. A lovely, warm and welcoming place. Staff very friendly and always ready to help. Always smile when greeting you. The staff are so lovely with the residents and genuinely care for residents. My father is very happy and settled. I know when I leave, he is in good hands. Staff are dedicated to caring for these residents with dementia. All in all, five-star care home.

From the minute we walked through the door, we knew it was the right place for my father. Such a lovely, friendly and professional welcome. The atmosphere was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The home was warm, clean and tidy. Overall, I cannot fault anything and I don't think there is anything that can be improved very impressed.

I have been very impressed from my first contact with Brinnington Hall care home. My dad has settled really well and feels comfortable and secure. He's only been a resident for a few weeks but I'm happy that we've chosen the right place.

Reception always gives a warm welcome in entering Brinnington Hall. Care and other staff are always lovely with my mother-in-law, and she is very happy here. It's good to see that the garden is starting to be given a makeover as up to now, it has appeared pretty neglected. I think this is important as a place to sit out (when warm enough) and as stimulation when taking residents out.

Staff are responsive and caring. As a visitor, I feel welcome. Maybe staff need training on issues to do with hearing aids. The garden area was neglected when we first came, but there has been a noticeable effort to improve it recently. This matters as stimulation when taking Mum out in a wheelchair. It is good that visitors can take in well-behaved family fogs.

Was extremely impressed with the amazing care and professionalism shown by the senior carer when we came to visit our friend. She was clearly very knowledgeable about our friend, was very helpful with us and advised us of how we might be able to support our friend. A wonderful member of your team!

My dad had a really hard time in hospital and down to them, he lost a leg. He was in a care home which did not look after him. I got him moved to Brinnington Hall, and he has now been there nearly 5 years. He would not be alive today if it was not for the amazing, caring, proper human beings that work at Brinnington. They can never do enough for my dad, whatever time, or day if he needs anything they are there. I cannot thank them enough.

Couldn't be happier with this facility. Lovely bedroom and great communal areas. The home is bright and spacious. I highly recommend this home to all. The staff are brilliant and there's always lots going on to keep the residents entertained.

Until January 2021 my mother had lived independently in the same house for around 60 years. Unfortunately, at that time she was badly affected by COVID and spent 3 months in hospital, losing much of her strength and mobility and as a result, wasn't able to return to that independent life. I looked at around 20 care homes before choosing Brinnington Hall as her new home and it was its staff and the positive atmosphere they created that made the choice easy for me. Over the past two years, I've never had cause to regret the decision and whenever I've visited she has seemed happy and well cared for and the atmosphere in the home has continued to be upbeat and positive. They said at the start that it could be her home for life and the staff were true to their word, making sure that she was able to spend her last days in her own room, with someone always at her side, rather than in an impersonal hospital. The level of care at that time was exemplary and does all of its staff great credit.

The home is outstanding, very clean and safe. My mum settled really well. The bedrooms are bright with ensuite, the carers are so kind and thoughtful. The carers really try to go the extra mile for my mum.

Since our family member moved into Brinnington Hall, they have been extremely happy. They settled very quickly and started putting on weight by enjoying the food. Plenty to talk about on visits, as there's so much entertainment. The rooms, everywhere are so clean, and even the laundry is five-star. Every member of staff, from carers to cooks and maintenance, everyone is extremely caring and welcoming. Our family member stated it's like a star hotel! One of the best homes I've ever been to.

My husband was in Brinnington Hall for 2 and a half years and not once did I have any concerns. They are a fabulous team and treated my husband like a family member. The care he received was second to none. He recently died and the care and compassion we received was above and beyond what I could have hoped for. They are just fantastic. Can't thank the team enough!

Fantastic care provided so far. Staff very knowledgeable, staff extremely friendly. Staff go above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns. Settled in very well and made to feel welcome and part of the family from the very first phone call. Extremely satisfied with Brinnington Hall.

The care my mum has received from Brinnington Hall has been second to none. The staff are all amazing and it is clear that they genuinely care for my mum’s well-being. I can’t thank them enough for everything they do. I would most definitely recommend Brinnington Hall to anyone looking for care.
