View Full Details of Bagshot Park Care CentreMy complete experience whilst being at Bagshot Park has been outstanding. All staff are so helpful, friendly and will do anything for all residents. I have had a few laughs throughout my stay which made me feel at ease. They have really helped me with my recovery 100%. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs it.
My sister had a stroke in April 2023 then epilepsy on July 2023. She has been in hospital for eight months. I was worried because of bad reviews but since my sister arrived, now one month. I am coming to visit my sister 4-5 hours every day. Do not forget this is a care home business, not hospital, the setting is like a home environment. It takes time for her to adapt. Now she gets up in the morning, attends physio sessions and activities during the day and back to bed at bedtime. The physio team, healthcare, nurse and all staff are amazing. They look after all residents, friends and family very well. Physio plan, activities and management system are in place and well executed. To be fair, you cannot make everyone happy. It is normal that issues happen but the important thing is they solve the issue quick with a smile and are professional. If you were them, you couldn't do what they do. It can feel it comes from their hearts not just a duty. I am very happy with all the services.
The care here is very good most days, depending on if they have enough staff. The staff are caring and happy to help, some go above and beyond their duty. There will always be some small issues with any nursing home, but in general we are pleased with the care and physio they provide our father.
My son went to the facility with a brain injury. He entered in a wheelchair and walked out using a cane. The management and staff were nice to him and made him feel very comfortable. I would recommend Bagshot Park Care Centre to anyone with a TBI (traumatic brain injury).
The staff work very hard and are polite and helpful. Any questions one might have are dealt with promptly. The home is very clean. The meals the residents receive always look nourishing. I feel my loved one is well looked after.
My husband has been a resident of Bagshot Park Care Centre since May 2024. In his time, he has received very good care and targeted therapy. He's learning to stand with a frame, structure sentences appropriately and they are working hard to improve memory function. The care team are very patient and attentive towards my husband, myself and other family members. I have watched daily how hard the team work and the residents here all seem to be progressing very well. During our short time in Bagshot Park, we have come to know other families too. I didn't realise that being here would feel like being part of a small community. The staff have encouraged us to participate in group sessions and some of us wives and mums have formed a bond. I couldn't have asked for a better placement for my husband and I look forward to when he makes it home to me and his children.
I would very much recommend this care and rehab facility. The experience for my husband with PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy) which was majorly exacerbated due to an infection resulting in six weeks in hospital has been one of special care, attention to detail and happiness. The team are happy, friendly, accommodating, very caring and a credit to the organisation. The kitchen is also always willing to accommodate dietary requirements. The cleaning team keep the facility immaculate. The activities team do a good mix of sessions. The maintenance team keep everything working well. The nurses are very dedicated. The senior leadership team is very knowledgeable. The manager and area manager are very approachable and supportive. The physio team are dedicated but the department lacks some of the most up-to-date neuro rehab equipment, in my personal opinion, which could help residents with their recovery or health condition maintenance. This facility is very good and could be excellent with a few easy to implement improvements. Thank you so much!
On the whole, my brother is very happy here. He is well looked after and he likes all the staff from top to bottom.
Very kind and thoughtful team who are truly motivated to the people in their care. Always happy to help any need of the residents how small or large. The physio team are a wonderful bunch who-support and push you all the way to get you back on your feet again. Not is the physical health covered but also the mental health to. The rooms are very clean and food is great tasty and with lots of choice too.
My husband first arrived here in January 2024 with a severe TBI. He lacks capacity, has post-traumatic amnesia, confusion and disorientation and as a result has behavioural problems. When he arrived, I was given the impression that he would be looked after well, his days would be filled with things to do and he would get the best experience here, but that wasn't the case. The therapy team didn't listen to the concerns I was constantly raising, the manager also tried to brush them off until I raised them higher. This was not a beneficial place for my husband. Although some of the carers were lovely and looked after me and my husband well, the therapy team and manager did not. We were ignored because his needs were too complex. Despite me raising these concerns before my husband arrived, I was reassured that he would be fine, but that was not the case. I would not recommend this facility. My husband has not made the progress that was set out for him and he is being sent home.
The manager's team provide an excellent service and are very professional in their work. As an example, for Halloween, the well-being team provided games and decorations to entertain all residents and the kitchen staff produced a delicious buffet. Also, all staff completed the atmosphere by dressing up appropriately. A wonderful event and many more for the coming year.
Came to Bagshot Park Care Centre for rehab around ten weeks ago. Since then I’ve seen many improvements and went from being hoisted to walking around with a frame. Staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable but can also have a laugh and are easy to get along with. Rooms and communal areas are lovely too, especially the garden. It’s quite big and has lots of seating outside. Very nice and relaxing place to be during warmer days. They also have a hydro pool which personally helped me a lot. Very useful for people who struggle with strength and are unable to do certain exercises on land. There’re also many activities going on during the days to keep residents occupied, moving and having fun. Food is prepared in-house with a wide variety of meals to choose from. Overall, a great place with professional staff, lovely rooms and good food! Would recommend it for anyone without a doubt!
The service here is excellent. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help in any which way they can. The treatment I have received here has been fantastic, and the results much better than myself and my family expected.
This is a fantastic facility. I am fully confident that my partner gets the very best care. The staff are all warm and friendly, remaining professional at all times. The care centre is very managed, especially with the difficult circumstances of this past year.
Outstanding staff and care. Could not be happier with all the amazing staff. Thank you.
My uncle is well cared for here and I would recommend this up to date modern home to anyone. They are always trying to put new things into place, although we are still waiting for wheelchair power packs and back accessible entrance and this has been ongoing for a while now. Activities also need to be more person-centred so that all needs are met. I find the manager and the other staff very approachable and thank you all.
