Very pleased with the overall care. I had an incident which did go on for a bit which was very distressing but this has now been attended to thank goodness. Carers are very good at their job and the home is clean and tidy.
My mum has been looked after very well. One of my mum's doctors (from the hospital) commented on how well the home is run and staff know what they're doing. Very happy with care, mum is settled much more, she enjoys activities.
Hurst Park is a fabulous Nursing Home the staff are commendable. The home is spotless, the rooms are great and the food is enjoyable. The gardens are all clean. The atmosphere is always a happy one. Residents are so friendly, carers are always engaging.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I am kept up to date regarding the health of my aunt.
Mum has settled in nicely. She says the food is good. The staff are very approachable and friendly. Some clothes have gone missing and have not been found. Mum is getting excellent care. She enjoys her days out on the first Friday of each month.
My father-in-law has been a resident at Hurst Park Court for over two years now and I would highly recommend them. The home is always clean and tidy whenever we visit and my father-in-law is always clean and tidy too. He is happy there and the staff know him very well. The staff are friendly and you can tell that they love what they do and have good relationships with the residents and their families.
My mum's had Alzheimer's since 2012 - it's been so tough witnessing her decline. Birthdays are a milestone that I find very tough. Arriving recently on Mum's birthday, without any planning or discussion - the team at Hurst Part Court had a homemade cake, balloons, flowers and chocolates. It's no exaggeration to say they got me through the day. They looked after me! When your loved one goes into Hurst Park - the team look after you too - it's a special place. Thank you.
I/we are very happy with Mum's care. We are happy the bedrooms are locked when Mum is not there as she has some sentimental belongings in there and photographs of family which other residents may pick up and take. They are always available to unlock the bedroom when we need to go in there and Mum wants to go in her room.
Hurst Park is a warm and welcoming care home. The residents are treated with kindness and respect, along with their visitors. I have always been kept up to day with any medical problems and found all the staff very approachable. It's always a happy atmosphere when I visit.
My dad moved to Hurst Park Court last September 2022. What an excellent choice we made when looking for care to meet his needs. The care Dad receives is second to none, all the staff are very caring, friendly and supportive which has helped Dad to settle in here. He now appears to see here as his home which is very reassuring to all his family, so thank you for all they do. Thank you.
All the staff are friendly and very caring. Dad has Alzheimer's and can be very confused, they are very patient and caring with him. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely, friendly greeting when you go in and everyone has a smile for you.
My mother-in-law has been in the home since August 2018. Together and throughout the COVID I have nothing but praise and admiration for all the staff. They have conducted themselves in a professional manner with love and care for the residents. They go above and beyond to help and care for the residents even though they might be tired or under pressure. The love and warmth given is second to none.
My Mum is resident in this wonderful care home. She is turning 90 this week and we wanted to celebrate with her and family and friends but we were a little concerned taking her out of her safe place as she can get a bit agitated when she has been out. So the manager asked us if we wanted to have something done within the home. This solved a big problem. They laid on a fantastic buffet and great entertainment. The kitchen staff did a wonderful job as did all the staff involved. I would like to add a special mention to the staff member for dressing up the room and helping with Mum. The room we had opened onto the garden so we didn't cause too much disruption to the other residents. Around 30 Family and friends got to spend a precious few hours with Mum who was a little overwhelmed at first but ended up enjoying herself. I cannot thank you enough for facilitating this fantastic occasion for her family.
We attended the Summer fancy dress party. The staff, both on duty and off duty, were great and fully interacted with all residents and visitors. They ensured that the residents without family and friends didn’t feel left out and were included in all the activities and were well catered for. It was very well organized. The bbq and entertainment was great and there was even a bouncy castle for the children. A lot of the residents were in the garden area, singing and some dancing along to the music. A great day and a big thank you to all the staff for their efforts and ongoing excellent care.
The best decision our family made was to move dad to Hurst Park Court. The staff are amazing and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care for their residents. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones.
Mum went into Hurst Park Court in june 2020, very apprehensive as had always been so independent. Can't fault how Hurst Park Court dealt with the difficult covid times and how Mum was cared for. I am always kept informed of any health concerns. Hurst Park Court had a jubilee part last week, was fantastic for family, and residents. Would recommend Hurst Park Court 100% to any family.
Jubilee celebrations for the residents were excellent. Exceeded expectations, residents' has a great time including my Nan and our family. Great way to get everyone together. Beautiful day, could not fault anything.
Attended jubilee celebrations. Wonderful afternoon, attention to detail, food and drink and entertainment everyone having an amazing time. Staff so involved and attentive to those who had no visitors. With the bad press care homes are getting if you are worried about an elderly relative then visit this one.
This review is regarding the party for the Queen's Jubilee. What a lovely day it was for all concerned. We had young children with us, who were catered for as much as the adults. The staff, both on duty and off duty, were amazing; it was well organized. Many of the residents were in the garden area, some sitting, some dancing, and a lot of them singing to the music, all with the option to go in and sit in the lounge if it got too much. Well done to all concerned, and thank you.
