View Full Details of Azalea CourtDeciding to place Dad in a nursing home was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make, but I'm grateful that the experience we had as a family was overwhelmingly positive. He was treated with dignity and respect, and the care he received was outstanding. We had the privilege of getting to know the entire team-both staff and management-during his time there. Sadly, Dad passed away at the end of December, but the care and support he received during that final week, both for him and for us, was nothing short of incredible. It was truly heartwarming to witness the emotion and compassion from his care team, which reassured us that he was loved and cared for until the very end, giving us great comfort in such a difficult time.
Dad was on Astor floor for just short of 12 months and the care and nursing care he received were of an excellent standard. The home is bright and clean, homely and welcoming. The staff were all so kind and supportive, we were always made to feel very welcome whenever we visited (which was often). Dad never had a bad word to say about the staff or his care and he always had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed participating in many of the activities and events that were organised for the residents and we were always welcomed in to share these times with him and make special memories. The staff, residents and other relatives at Azalea became like another family to us. Trusting a nursing home to take over the care of our Dad was such a difficult thing to do but we needn't have worried as Dad was always treated with kindness, care, respect and dignity at all times.
The care and nursing care given to my husband during the year he was in Azalea Court was excellent, especially in the days leading up to his passing. He was treated with respect and dignity by all staff and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and care.
Dad was always treated with great care and respect that he deserved. He never had a complaint and was always happy with his care. The staff couldn't have been kinder to my Dad and to us as a family.
The care at Azalea Court is excellent. The staff are warm and welcoming to residents and family. As well as providing high-quality and expert nursing care, they interact with my dad with compassion and humour which is exactly what he needs and responds to.
Just to let you know I am very happy for all your services in this care home. All the staff are doing a good job. I am always happy when I come to visit, they are very friendly. Well done to all staff.
My mother has been in Azalea Court since October 21. And I am very happy with the level of care she receives and the facilities that unfortunately she is unable to take part in are really good and keep the other residents occupied, all the staff are friendly and caring.
The standard of care shown by staff is exemplary. Just as importantly, they care for their residents as if they were family. It is a safe welcoming environment. The amenities are clean and well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable the diet is healthy. There is good communication between staff, residents and their families. Activities during the day are stimulating, and nobody is left on their own. I am happy and reassured my mother resides here.

My daughter is in Azalea Court care home and she is very well looked after with the tasks that she can’t carry out. She is always spoken to with respect and friendliness. Her room is well-maintained and cleaned regularly.
My mum has been in the Poppy unit for almost two years now. The whole unit really made her feel at home and everyone caters for her needs. Her eating has improved as she lost the ability to swallow however recently, it has improved due to the patience and experience of the nursing team. The management and the team are amazing, including the activity team. I like the way the activity team always have events going on which really encourages the residents to participate in normal day-to-day things. The whole team really support Mum and are always happy and kind towards the other residents too! In Poppy unit, they are very caring and always making the residents laugh, creating a good atmosphere. Whenever I visit I can always sense a good vibe and walk away happy that Mum is in a good place.

The nursing care is excellent. He has challenging health issues, but they are looked after and improving.
Compassionate care and a supportive place for our loved one at an extremely difficult and upsetting time. Clean, homely and caring environment. Cannot fault any aspects of the time that he spent here. Was a relief after coming from a hospital environment to see him made comfortable and cared about. Thank you all.

Our family cannot praise the staff enough for the care, attention and dignity that they provided her. On our visits, we were made to feel very welcome. Sunday roasts are tasty and are as good as home-cooked. Regular updates face to face or via phone Re mum's health or any problems that might be occurring and will be resolved swiftly. She’s shown kindness and compassion. Daily activities and encouraged to participate, shows, singalongs and therapy pets go in to entertain residents.
We never want to put our loved ones in a home but for my dad, I felt his safety and health were in danger at home. Having experienced another home with my Nan, I can honestly say Azalea Court is much better than most. Staff are friendly, many activities go on every day and I feel they know my dad very well. I can visit when I want (some restrictions during the height of the pandemic) and take him out when I can. There are family events and opportunities to express our views. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a safe and caring home.
