I am delighted with the care provided for my mum. The staff are so caring and considerate and all of her needs are provided for. I have every confidence that this will always be the case and can see how Mum is content and happy in her surroundings. All of this gives me peace of mind and I believe that Mum couldn't be better cared for anywhere else.

For the last 10 years, my husband has been extremely well cared for. Sadly there are only a few of the original staff members still working at Alexandra View. However, it remains after many managers a home which is a home for residents and their families. It is very settled at present under the new guidance of the present manager. I cannot praise enough, all of the staff in each department for the good work they do. We (relatives) are cared for as much as our loved ones. Both managers and administrators have an 'open door' and all carers try their best to help whenever asked.

My mother has been here for 2 years and three months. Her care has been excellent. All of the staff are amazing and so kind. We haven't had any issues with Mam's care. We are informed if there are any issues and they let us know when things like Covid boosters are done. The food is excellent and there is such a wide choice of meals. We are very happy with the way Mam has been looked after.

The home is very friendly with a lovely atmosphere when you enter. The staff are lovely, welcoming people. The food is lovely, and my nana is very happy.

My father was accepted into this fantastic establishment when other care homes refused him access to their 5-star facilities on the grounds that they could not meet his needs. However, the superb staff here were up for the challenge with my father. All my father needed was a warm, friendly, safe place to live as he could no longer live at his own home with his Dementia problems. The staff welcomed him with open arms and from day one I noticed a change in my father's condition, he was more relaxed in his new home. The staff looked after him really really good, as if they were looking after their own parents, which put me at ease. The food was very good, homemade on the premises and proper home cooking which my father enjoyed. I was made to feel like I was one of the family and was always addressed by my first name. This is not a 5-star rated care home. The staff are the stars of this care home, 5-star plus. Thank you all.

I have been so well cared for in Alexandra View. Both management and staff are very approachable, warm and caring. All staff show empathy and treat all residents with dignity. I would recommend Alexandra View to friends and family. I will miss so many including staff and residents.

When I arrived, I was terrified and confused and felt so alone. Staff and residents have welcomed me and am improving slowly. I still get paranoid and upset a lot, haunted by my memories. I enjoy my food here, always as it should be.

My relative has been in the home since summer 2022. She seems settled, and her needs are met. The staff respect her routine that she has had for a few years. She seems happy with this and over that time, has got to know the staff well, and the staff seem to know her personality and that she's very much a creature of habit which makes her feel safe.
