View Full Details of Boldmere Court Care HomeWonderful place. Fantastic staff who really did make my dad's days happy , nothing was too much trouble. My dad always smelt lovely, always clean and hydrated. The staff were so friendly to myself and my dad, they made him giggle everyday. I would highly recommend it here, thank you to everyone who looked after him.
The staff are so welcoming to my dad and the whole family. All his needs are met and nothing is too much trouble for them. He's comfortable, clean and always looks peaceful. His room has everything he needs, as we were told to bring his personal items from home like photos, radio and books.
Very friendly and can't do enough to help. Caring and totally on the ball with patients.
Not much to say except the home is very good with brilliant staff and carers. Everyone is very helpful. I would like more music from the 60's & 70's played for the residents rather than obscure TV programmes. Saying all that my wife is very settled and happy there and I have nothing to complain about.
A fantastic and warm environment. Made to feel a part of the family. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They answered all our questions and made us feel so special. Thank you to everyone.
My brother was diagnosed with dementia and after a bout of pneumonia was transferred bed bound to Boldmere Court Care Home for palliative, end of life care. I visited most days to spoon-feed him his dinner to the point where his room became our “den” and the staff (day, night and admin) our adopted family. His G.P. and the staff worked miracles and it’s a testament to their care and attention that he survived a further 5 years. I can’t thank everybody enough and would strongly recommend Boldmere Court.
After many years of poor mental health and untold trauma, my mother ultimately succumbed to a dementia diagnosis and was placed in respite initially in a care home local to me. As her health declined, the need for her to remain in care was tangible. During those years, we had the best time, chatting, singing, walking and laughing. Eventually however, her behaviours became too challenging and she was moved to Boldmere Court during lockdown. I knew my mother needed more tailored care but it didn't make it any easier. I felt I had failed. Seeing my mom behind a glass screen during an arranged covid safe visit gave me hope. I knew instinctively she was in the right place. The staff have been nothing short of miraculous in their efforts to care for her. I don't visit these days; it's too hard but that said, I know for a fact my mother gets the chats and singing and laughter with Boldmere Court staff that we used to share together! I thank them from the bottom of my heart! They are angels.
This home delivers excellent care. As a worker who has been here for eleven years, I can proudly say that I have the best team to work with. We support each other like a family. Everyone I work with treats others with care and respect, not only residents but other staff too. The residents are well looked after, cared for and loved like a family. A brilliant home for your relatives.
The staff are very caring and informative. Very satisfied with the care home for our brother. Everyone is very caring, even the girls on reception.
My mother was given an overdose of medication. Although not fatal we were not informed. Only found out 5 months later from Social Services. The nurse was suspended and then sacked but the point is they tried to cover it up. We are currently taking legal advice.
Having to choose a place for a loved one is not something anyone takes easily, but I cannot praise Boldmere Court highly enough. The care my father received was second to none. Everyone became like family to us.
My father only spent a short time at Boldmere Court but the care he was shown, the compassion he was afforded and the dignity with which he spent his last days were above and beyond our expectations. I can't thank the staff enough for ensuring my fathers last days were very comfortable and peaceful.
Care given is second to none. So much dignity and respect at all times. Staff can't do enough for you. Very relaxed setting and calm environment. Cleanliness was 100% and always smells fresh. Cared for relative with excellent personal care and washed, shaved and hair done daily. Would totally recommend.
My mother has been here for 3 weeks and is very comfortable. She is very well cared for. Staff are fantastic. Mom likes the staff and knows them well now. I have seen a change in her since being here. She is less anxious, less angry and a lot more settled. Mom is eating and drinking again since being here.
My dad was taken care of from January until May when he sadly passed away. The care my dad received here was the best, they not only took care of my dad but also us as a family, staff here are caring and supportive. It became our second home as we stayed many nights to be with dad. We as a family will always be thankful for their care as I believe they looked after dad so well that we spent extra valuable time with him. I strongly recommend that anyone who is looking for a care home for a loved one you won't get one any better then Boldmere care home.
My husband stayed at Boldmere Court Nursing Home for nine months up until he passed away. The care he received during his stay was excellent - all of the staff we found to be caring and understanding in this difficult time. They genuinely took the time to get to know my husband, myself and other members of the family and Boldmere Court became a second home to everyone. The staff not only looked after the general health of my husband but they took the time to retain his dignity at all times. When I mention the staff, this not only includes the day staff, but night staff, admin and management teams all has input into his care and respect. We as a family would certainly recommend Boldmere Court to any other families that find themselves in very difficult and distressing times as a place of help, care, attention and dignity.
Dad was in the home for many months. The care was excellent, staff was so dedicated and caring. If I could fault anything, the only fault would be the washing of clothes as the whites always come back grey and soft foods were the same day after day. There was only one special chair, so most times dad was bed bound as the chair was in use with other residents.
My grandad was placed into Boldmere Court in the Meregreen Unit. All staff are very helpful and friendly. My grandad has always had a clean room and is always looking refreshed, is always fed well and dressed well.
What a lovely place, great reception. Staff very professional. Nice manager. Clean and well organised. Care staff are lovely. Nothing too much. Would recommend as father previously been in two other home. This one exceeds expectations. Nursing staff very professional!
