The care facilities at Millbrook Care Home were excellent. It was always clean and tidy and maintained to a high standard. The staff were amazing, everyone was polite and friendly with a caring nature. The care they gave my grandma was exceptional. At the time my grandma was there, she was happy and well looked after. My grandma would always tell me how wonderful the staff were. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always did their best for her, keeping us informed with her care. I would highly recommend Millbrook Care Home!

Due to my mother having a stroke, the very prompt actions of the care home staff and paramedics getting her to hospital promptly means she recovered quickly and is now back in the care home, a big thank you to everyone.

A lovely home with friednly, helpful staff. Mum has always been a people person but isn't missing well but I put that down to the fact that there is very little interaction between the residents which is probably the reason most are residents at Millbrook, Mum's reason for being there is her lack of mobility. The staff have a difficult job to do and I thank them for looking after Mum.

Our father was a resident at Millbrook for four and a half years. During that time the care he received was excellent. He knew all the staff by name and they all knew him and took time to chat and laugh with him. The last few weeks before his death were very difficult for him and the staff showed extreme kindness and compassion both to him and to our family. We have nothing but praise for them all.

Mum has been a resident at the home for almost 2.5 years and during that time the staff have always provided a very professional and supportive kind of care. Following a couple of falls late 2023, the staff went "above and beyond" to provide the care Mum needed to re-settle after the disruption caused by the falls. Overall the family is very happy with the overall standards provided.

I would like to thank the manager and the staff at Millbrook Care Home for the attentive care provided to my mother. The manager contacts me should any issues arise so my mother's care is unaffected and she is completely relaxed and cared for and stress-free. Thank you for putting the family at ease and well done.

Millbrook was Mum's preferred choice after seeing a brochure. Due to Covid restrictions, we couldn't visit in advance but we knew it had a good reputation. Her allocated room was a good size but it was dark and had no view, however, it was very convenient for the lounge area where we hoped Mum would spend most of her time. The activities and entertainment seemed good but Mum chose to stay in her room and not mix with the other residents. She has always had difficulty mixing with people and always chose family before friends. The staff spent a fair amount of time with her and she appreciated the attention and care she got. Mum was very independent all her life and found it difficult to relinquish control of things like laundry and medication, however, she learnt to appreciate the efforts the staff went to and after a difficult start, she called it home. Her 3 years there were happy years and I felt safe she was in good hands.

We were relieved and impressed by our initial meeting with such a friendly and effective management team. Their care in ensuring they could cater for our relative's needs was thorough and professional. Our beloved relative is being treated with the greatest respect whilst receiving compassionate and understanding care. The environment is extremely clean and comfortable. The standard and choice of food is very good. All the staff are friendly and approachable to us all. Millbrook Care Centre is highly recommended.

I knew of Millbrook Care Centre before a decision was made for Mum to become a resident. So, didn't see any reason to be fearful of the decision. That pre-move confidence has been justified. Mum knows why she is a resident and is grateful for help from all staff for meeting her everyday needs she knows she can no longer do for herself.

My wife has now been a resident for 12 months and 1 week. She is happy, content and happy at Millbrook. She experienced two falls which were dealt with immediately. Doctors are a bit slow when requested but finally sorted out. Overall she is content and well cared for.

Personally, I thought the home was beautiful. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The living space was really nice and perfect for socialising and the individual rooms are very warm and homey.

My experience of the care home was very nice, the rooms are very clean and homey. The staff are very attentive and always happy to help and make my grandma comfortable. The living space is nice and clean and comfortable with a nice view of the garden. They also have activity days (e.g pet days) which I found really heartwarming. Really impressed with the care home, highly recommend.

Millbrook is extremely clean, staff are always very pleasant and caring. The food is fresh and extremely good. The rooms are spacious and always clean. Excellent.

Millibrook is an amazing place for my grandma. The staff are always friendly, helpful and have the safety to hand. My grandma is always clean when I've visited, her food is excellent and the facilities are the best. Highly recommended.

My mum moved to Millbrook in March this year after our family decided she needed full time care support. We are very happy with how she is cared for and the friendliness and compassion of all the staff are of the highest standard. The communication from the staff is excellent and any issues have been dealt with very professionally and explained properly. Nothing is too much trouble and more importantly my mum is happy at Millbrook and says she feels safe and well cared for. The home itself is very well presented and feels a warm welcoming place for both residents and visitors. I would confidently recommend Millbrook to anyone who is looking for a care home for their elderly relative.

At the end of May, I was asked to look at the Millbrook Care Home as a possible place for my aunty. I was invited to visit at my convenience. When I turned up I was given a guided tour by a very pleasant, friendly, approachable member of staff. I was shown two resident rooms along with the other facilities - lounge, dining room, bathrooms and hairdressers. I had previously looked at two other homes in the area, the rooms and facilities at the Millbrook were like a five-star hotel compared to student accommodation at the others. My Aunty took up residency at the beginning of June, she has been made very welcome and settled in quickly. The staff are helpful and do everything to make life at the care home as comfortable as possible.
