View Full Details of Hallmark Admiral CourtI'm very happy with the care my dad is getting at Hallmark Admiral Court. The staff are all excellent. All very caring and considerate. The food is excellent too. Would not want him to be anywhere else.
Once again I had a great visit to Admiral Court. The staff are all so very welcoming and not only care for their residents' comfort and well-being but extend great hospitality to their visitors. The atmosphere at Admiral Court is so happy and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble to ensure we all get the most from our visits. We are encouraged to join in with various activities that is great for bonding with our loved ones and making new friends. There are so many activities for the residents to take part in and enjoy and plenty of shared chats around the Farmhouse Kitchen Table making friends and sharing memories with the other residents. I think the overall policy is to keep everyone safe, happy and that's obviously a complete success judging by the smiles from the residents and all the staff.
My mum is very happy here. The staff are very caring and engaging. Mum says "They like to do things with you". There are lots of activities and the rooms/premises are very clean. I feel reassured mum is looked after.
Absolutely first-class accommodation - beautiful decor, exceptionally clean. The level of care goes above and beyond. Everyone is welcome from the moment you step through the doors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and residents and their relatives/friends are treated like family. The food is excellent and plenty of choice. My father was admitted for 4 weeks of respite and has thrived. I would be so happy for him to live there on a permanent basis.
Taken our neighbour into the home for the first time. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome. My friend felt instantly at ease. Everybody was so friendly. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Flowers and chocolates in the room. Very impressed.
Mum's 80th Birthday Celebrations: I don't know what to say. Thank you so very much for the amazing buffet and setup for Mum's birthday celebrations! Honestly couldn't have asked for any more and Carers coming down from Mum's Amazon Way living area to join us for singing Happy Birthday as her birthday cake was bought in brought tears to my eyes just lovely! Was like an extended family moment! Many thanks again to the four lovely staff members assisting - the food and service were second to none. The whole family had a great time!
My family and I are delighted that our aunt is now living at Admiral Court. It is, without a doubt, the most wonderful care home that we have seen. Not only are the many lounges, activity rooms, bedrooms and gardens so homely but the staff are all so kind and helpful. We are very impressed with the number of care support staff there are, who are always on hand to help. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make sure you have everything you need. Our aunt has been there since the beginning of February and is settling in really well. The daily activities, morning and afternoon, are great for stimulating our aunt who is living with dementia. I cannot praise the whole team at Admiral Court enough!
My darling Mum was lucky enough to have spent a whole year at Admiral Court. It was this time last year she sadly passed away. Although a year has gone by I wanted to write this review. Admiral Court was just such an amazing place and from the first visit, we knew it was perfect for Mum. The staff were exceptional and so welcoming, kind and caring. The facilities were superb and extremely clean and great attention was paid to detail with fresh flowers on the tables. The food at Admiral Court was also superb. Mum enjoyed her weekly hair and nail appointments and a chat with the lovely ladies running the salon. l visited Mum on a regular basis and always the same caring, thoughtful and respectful standard. Admiral Court is run like a luxury hotel and anyone who is lucky enough to experience it will wish they had gone sooner! I want to thank each and every member of staff and the management team for making the last year of Mum’s life as happy as it could be and for giving us such peace of mind.
Mum has Alzheimer’s and she was no longer able to live in her own home, following a nasty fall when she sustained multiple fractures. Visiting carers and live-in carers just frightened Mum, as she didn’t understand why she had strangers in her house and this caused a lot of upset for her. All the staff, at Admiral Court, are so kind, caring and reassuring and this has helped her to settle in. Mum has been living at Admiral Court for 8 months: She has no worries; she’s eating well (the food is superb!); she has her medication, given out and monitored by the supervising carers; she joins in lots of the varied activities (arts and crafts, exercise, singing, discussions etc) and she has company all day long. She is enjoying her best life and I haven’t seen her this well, happy and fulfilled in several years. We, as a family, are so very lucky to have peace of mind, knowing that our Mum is safe, secure and happy at Admiral Court. Thank you all so much!
We were in Essex for the weekend for a family wedding and I contacted Admiral Court on Friday to find out if we could have tea with my Mum before driving home to Yorkshire. I just wanted to thank everyone who was involved in making this such a lovely afternoon. Mum looked happy and settled, we had the most wonderful afternoon tea, fabulous sandwiches and cakes; and felt truly spoilt by all the staff who made such an effort to make sure it was a perfect experience. When you live a long way away, these catch-ups are really important and your team made it very special.
From the moment my sister and I met the customer relationship manager, we were very impressed with her. She answered all our questions and put our minds at rest regarding Mum’s care and health issues. Nothing is too much trouble for the customer relationship manager. She is lovely to deal with and always happy to talk if we need to ask anything. My sisters and I are very happy that our dear mum is being cared for so well in this home. The customer relationship manager and all the staff are just fabulous!
Admiral Court is a very special and professional home for our mum. We had a very lovely visit on Mother's Day and the staff could not have done more or been any more friendly and welcoming. The costs are very high for us but the home is such an amazing facility where the staff clearly enjoy providing a first-class environment for all residents.
The hospitality team at Admiral Court always go the extra mile to make special occasions memorable. Mother's Day had an afternoon tea and decorations and each resident was made to feel welcomed. The team are always on hand with food and beverages which are of a high standard. Congratulations to the whole hospitality and food team.
I now have both my parents in Admiral Court and I have nothing but praise for the loving care and dedication shown by all the staff I have come across. The facilities are exceptional and the environment fosters positivity and happiness.
Since my nan has been living in the home I've seen such an improvement in my nan's mental health and general well-being. She's more sociable and willing to join in activities. We thought we'd lost her earlier this year and seeing her come back to life has been lovely. The staff have been amazing.
Nan's quality of life has improved beyond words since being here. She gets involved in all activities and has made some lovely friends along the way. The staff will do anything for you and are amazing with my nan. Would recommend to anyone.
My Mum was at Admiral Court for 10 months from July 2021. The staff understood the difficulties that families have in making the decision to move a loved one into residential care and supported us all. My Mum settled quickly and was very happy, she always had a smile for the carers and staff, and that demonstrated the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The care and help that my Mum received was impeccable from the moment that she arrived to her last day. The staff took the time to care for us as a family at a very difficult time and I cannot thank them enough for the support and care that they showed to my Mum and us, particularly in her final days. Thank you to everyone at Admiral Court and I would not hesitate to recommend Admiral Court to other families.
From the first phone call to visit for a viewing to my friend moving in the staff were helpful and there was not anything that was too much trouble. The building is fresh and clean full of beautiful flowers that brighten all the rooms. My friend is loving all the meals and also liking that there is great choice. From day one she has been happy and settled which is the opposite of what I was expecting, as I thought it might take a while to adjust. I am kept informed of everything that is required. One of the highlights my friend is looking forward to is using the hair salon on a regular basis, just as she did when at home. All in all so happy my friend is in a place where she will be well looked after and cared for.
I attended a BBQ with my sister on 11th August. The food was really nice and the staff in attendance went out of their way to make sure everyone had a lovely afternoon. My compliments go out to the chefs and everybody involved in this event. I am looking forward to the next one. Thanks again.
Both my husband and myself have been residents at Admiral Court. He is an end-of-life/palliative resident needing nursing care and I have spent four weeks at Admiral Court to recuperate after extensive spinal surgery. I have been able to see how everything works on a daily basis. Apart from providing high-quality care, this establishment works with residents and their loved ones to generate a fulfilling lifestyle within a pleasant environment, both indoors and out. The overriding atmosphere is friendly, happy, and respectful. I cannot praise highly enough the commitment and patience of the care team and the good humour they bring to a challenging vocation.
