View Full Details of Jubilee CourtWe are very happy with the treatment of our relative. Cannot fault anything. From the moment we enter the care home, all staff that we encounter are@ polite, pleasant and very happy. All staff are very good. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is well looked after. We cannot thank all staff enough.
My dad is a resident at jubilee Court. He is being looked after by the lovely staff who attend to all his needs. They provide him with exceptional care, meals and entertainment which give my dad a better quality of life. The accommodation is outstanding, he has a lovely room with an en suite, TV, and all his needs. I would highly recommend Jubilee Court for your loved ones and cannot fault the level of care they provide.
We made a family decision that a care home would be the best for my darling wife. Jubilee Court was convenient geographically and we know its provenance of Quantum Care. The manager visited us at home and invited my wife to come and stay at Jubilee. It would be good to say that it was all plain sailing but no decision like this is without its problems. My wife hated having to stay here and despite all our best endeavours she still wants to come home. Though we recognise that we could not look after her here.
A lovely care home with such friendly and welcoming staff. Very homely communal areas. Lots of activities and entertainment provided. A real home from home feel.
The most appalling experience a family could have. My mother in law went to Jubilee in October 2024 and was delayed getting there because of breaking her hip. She was in extreme pain in the home and in late stage dementia. The Home tells you they can handle all cases of dementia including aggression and challenging behaviour. This is not true at all and at the first sign of difficult behaviour they sectioned her despite not getting her to take her meds on a regular basis which would have improved the situation. We have got this decision overturned as it was not lawful but have not had one word of apology from the home. Take it from me - don't choose Jubilee for your loved ones.
Thank you to the manager and your staff for making Christmas such a special occasion at Jubilee Court and a wonderful new year on January the 1st. I know my wife and the other residents had such a joyous time thanks to your wonderful hard work.
My mum had advanced Lewy body dementia and moved into Jubilee Court in February 2024 (Yew Tree). The care mum (and the other residents) received was outstanding. Staff spent quality time with them, they knew each resident and what their needs were, and they treated them like they were family. I regularly saw staff holding residents hands, giving them hugs and appropriate affection. My mum loved her carers and would often blow them kisses when she saw them (which were returned). Residents were free to roam within the care home, and sometimes when I visited, I'd be told mum was in Lily Lane. When I walked in, often I'd sit and not interrupt as mum was having a lovely time, taking tea with other residents and the carers - I didn't want to interrupt her fun! Mum was involved in many social activities run by the activities team and this really helped to stimulate her improved her motor coordination and cognitive ability.
We chose Jubilee Court for my darling mother who had advanced dementia. We were advised that Jubilee Court could cope with my mother's dementia following a home visit by the Manager. However, we couldn't have been more disappointed by the quality of the staff, their lack of care, their high percentage rate of not providing drugs or personal care etc. Due to a number of factors at the home, this led to my mother being sectioned. We were able to get a full discharge very rapidly and Mum is now very happy in her new home. Really think carefully if your loved one has advanced dementia and if Jubilee Court is the best place for them.
My partner had a respite placement in Jubilee Court in September. The manager came out and did a thorough assessment, this has not happened with previous respites in other care homes. He had got Alzheimer's disease. Lovely room, friendly staff and the most dementia friendly respite I have witnessed so far. There was a picture of a Land Rover on his door which he loved. I was impressed with this personal touch. My friend visited and she was also impressed with what she saw. Hoping to get more respite later this year. There was a distinct lack of agency staff which proves they are able to retain staff. I was quite stressed and tired and really needed a respite break. Thanks to all the staff, receptionists, cleaners, catering, manager and all the nurses who provided personal care. I would highly recommend Jubilee court. Thanks again.
Cannot fault Jubilee Court in any way - Is run extremely well and the staff are all pleasant and welcoming and will deal with any problems you may have. 'A truly great place.'
This care home has a lovely caring staff. The unit manager gives regular hugs to my Mum. There are lots of activities each week, the entertainment manager is fantastic. Sometimes there are trips out as well. I had to choose this care home during the pandemic and have never regretted my decision.
Whilst the standard of care was good, the recent changes to the management team appear to have made subtle but impressive improvements. The refreshed decor has merely enforced this observation. In her own words, Mum is very happy in her new home and appears to be very content and relaxed now that she's well settled in.
I have been visiting Jubilee Court for many years ago now. Previously I was visiting another friend who has since died. I now visit another friend. She has settled in very well and the staff encourage her to join in with several activities. The staff are very welcoming to families and the residents. I always enjoy going there. The residents are treated so well.
Our Mother has been in Jubilee Court since 9th Jan this year. We have noticed a marked improvement in her well-being, eats regularly, is dressed nicely, and is fed and watered well. The big plus is the staff administering her medication, this has seen her visual appearance improve and she is sleeping and eating better, due to the fantastic care.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly, the rooms are a good size and really like the fact that we can make it as homely as we like with lots of Mum's own things. The activity team are excellent there is always something going on, with trips out and visits from lots of organisations i.e schools, churches, dog visits, drama groups etc. They also encourage residents to get involved in daily tasks like washing up, hovering etc which all help with stimulation and making people still feel useful. Mum loves keeping busy. The laundry services could do with a bit of improvement, whites don't stay white for long. But I walk away from visits feeling that Mum is safe and well looked after, which gives me peace of mind.
The staff are so friendly and caring towards the residents but also I have found them to be very supportive towards myself (I have struggled accepting putting Mum into care). The home is kept clean and smells nice. Reception is welcoming and I like the open door policy for visiting anytime. The staff have kept me updated and worked with me to sort out any issues (health, etc). The activities team are great and try really hard to encourage people to join in. The stimulation has been so good for my mum. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Jubilee Court, they do a great job. The food is ok but could be improved a little.
Lovely staff, very professional and yet so friendly. The rooms are light airy and well-furnished. My sister is now a happy more confident person since she has lived here. I feel very comfortable when I visit and when I leave I know she is having the best of care.
The staff go above and beyond caring for the residents. They treat my dad as an individual and look after him as a valued member of the community.
The majority (greater) off the staff are brilliant, attentive, personable, professional and good-humoured. Communication of mum's needs is very good. Occasionally and especially when more temporary staff are required, there is an understandable lack of continuity and sometimes conflictingly so. I am empathetic to staffing issues but not when it impacts my mum's welfare. Relayed in moderation and overall very happy with Jubilee Court and team.
Since my father moved to Jubilee Court, I have been impressed by the care he receives. He is always taken care of by the staff and I don't have to worry that he's in good hands. The home is always clean and tidy when I visit and the staff always welcoming. The staff have called me straight away when Dad has had falls, which I appreciate.
