View Full Details of Jubilee LodgeJubilee Lodge provided excellent care from a lovely team of carers and staff. As a family, we couldn't have chosen a better place for my mum to have some respite. Always helpful and very kind carers and Mum said the food was excellent! Thank you all very much.
My sister in law has been in Jubilee Lodge for nearly two years. In this time, she has been looked after really well. The whole staff have been incredible. The chefs go beyond their duties in regards to all foods and we have made some good friends with them all.
My friend has been a resident at Jubilee Lodge for a little while now and I haven't seen her so settled and happy for a long time - it's a joy to see. The staff, although always very busy, go above and beyond every day and always with a smile on their faces. The manager and deputy are always available to talk through any questions and nothing ever seems too much trouble. It's always a daunting time when a loved one needs to go into care but Jubilee made the transition so easy and any fears were dispelled very early on. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a smile, the home looks and smells clean and really well looked after. The only downside I would say that she has commented on is the food could be a little more varied, but that is a small price to pay for knowing she is well looked after and ultimately, happy. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jubilee Lodge to anyone.
My Dad was moved into Jubilee Lodge 7 weeks ago and the lovely staff could not have been more welcoming. There is always a happy buzz amongst the staff and I am always greeted with lovely smiles. These early weeks while Dad settles in have been challenging but the staff are always proactive and make themselves available to chat matters through and look at positive resolutions. Dad just loves the food. Whenever I ask him how a meal was he says "It was excellent" and he can be a real grump! The chef and his team do an incredible job of listening to the residents and relatives and making any adjustments or changes for the better. The menus rotate with seasonal changes but with regular stalwarts like fish on Friday and a delicious Sunday roast. Dad is totally spoilt with a cooked breakfast every morning, where grilled tomatoes and fried bread are made especially for Dad. Thank you Jubilee Lodge for caring for my Dad so amazingly and just keep doing what you are doing!
My dad has been in Jubilee Lodge for the past 22 months. As a resident, he had always been treated with care and compassion. I can only comment on day staff, as I haven't been in during night time, but Dad has a good rapport with the carers. I would definitely recommend Jubilee Lodge to any family or friends.
From the first day my mum arrived on the assessment unit back in May, the staff have been kind and very understanding, so much so that when we had to decide on a residential home for her to move to after her assessment, we chose for her to stay at Jubilee Lodge. All the staff on every unit are friendly and patient with her. The communication is excellent and the management is second to none. We are very happy Mum is at Jubilee Lodge and she is safe, happy, and well cared for. Thank you all. Oh, and she loves the food!
Living so far away means, we only visit every couple of months, but we are always made feel very welcome, even given a cup of tea and a biscuit if the staff can find the time. It is obviously a very caring community, everyone is so kind and helpful. Our sister-in-law is very happy in her environment, she loves the staff and appreciates the care she is given. we cannot speak highly enough of Jubilee Lodge.
Fabulous food, very caring and loving nurses and staff. Many, many thanks for helping to get me back to health. I was very thin and lost a lot of weight during my stay in hospital. Now I have gained over 7 pounds!
My last review was in May 2023 and I couldn’t praise Jubilee Lodge enough. I felt I must do another review though as they are just better than ever! My mum has been so well supported and looked after by all the team. She recently had to spend some time in the hospital and said every day how she couldn’t wait to get home to her friends. Jubilee Lodge really feels like home to her, (and to all of her family!), and this was made even more evident by how unsettled she was in the hospital. The team are just amazing and has helped all of us so much, not just Mum. We are very grateful for all the love and care you provide. Thank you.
All staff at Jubilee Lodge are very helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. My sister-in-law is a resident there and we couldn't wish for a nicer place under the circumstances. Food wise they will go all out to accommodate her. They are all amazing. And our thanks go out to them all. Thank you.
We would like to say thank you to all the staff who look after our friend. She is very happy here and is looked after extremely well. When we visit we are made welcome. We have had lunch with our friend, the chef and staff have gone out of their way to make our lunch an enjoyable one with our friend. So happy memories.
My father has been in Jubilee Lodge for over 2 years, at the grand old age of 98, the care he has received has been excellent. The staff are very welcoming and give my father good care, also communicating with us as a family so we can discuss his care needs. I would recommend Jubilee Lodge to anyone who is looking for a care home.
Excellent care facility that has been welcoming to my mother and family in these life-changing circumstances. Food quality has been at a great standard, adapting to familiar flavours and consulting my mother and I on preferences. Excellent multidisciplinary team, working together to give high standards of care.
Very pleased with Jubilee who are looking after my uncle. Lovely staff and great communication. My uncle is well looked after and the staff are very helpful. He is well fed and there are activities to keep him occupied.
I am extremely happy with Jubilee Lodge and very pleased my mum is a resident. In my experience Mum and the other residents are always treated with care, dignity, and respect. The staff are consistently welcoming and approachable when I visit. My mum settled into the home very quickly and this I attribute to the staff’s care, attention, and understanding of her needs in the early days after her admission. I am kept informed of any changes in her health and welfare and feel secure in the knowledge the staff will do everything necessary to ensure her care and comfort at all times.
18 months ago my sister-in-law was an independent, happy, active character. Then she had a fall causing a brain bleed and long hospitalisation. We were sad to realise she would have to give up her home and move into a nursing home. However Jubilee Lodge has been the perfect place and we are amazed at her improvement. The staff have been so kind and caring. Encouraging her to do things we thought she would never be able to do again. Living so far away we cannot visit often but see such a change in her each time. Last week she told us she considers herself lucky to be in the peace and quiet of Notgrove Ward amongst lovely people. We drove back home saying how lovely it is that she still feels loved and appreciated by those around her.
Right from the front reception through to the staff the atmosphere at Jubilee Lodge is welcoming. My mother is settled, content and happy. She is very well looked after by the caring staff. Well done to all at Jubilee.
My stepmother tells me that she is very content and well looked after at Jubilee Lodge. I think the staff are kind and caring, and there is a “family “ atmosphere. I am particularly grateful to the admin staff who are kind and helpful and quickly respond to my questions. Thank you.
I cannot praise the staff at Jubilee Lodge highly enough. The care for my mum is excellent, she has a dedicated carer, who with the others goes above and beyond. I have sat with my mum on numerous occasions and watched all the residents in her unit (dementia) happy and smiling and always finishing their lunch. The activities are varied and engage the residents. They stand at the front door where you are greeted with a smile. I am also pleased I am kept informed of any changes.
Our uncle is now happy and settled at Jubilee Lodge. He feels he's come home having been in several hospitals and care homes. When we walked in the atmosphere of Jubilee Lodge is warm and friendly, and the staff smiling. Obviously happy in the work. Well done Jubilee.
