View Full Details of Rossetti HouseMy mother has now been living at Rosetti House for 4 months. The building is obviously lovely, and she has a really nice room with French doors onto her own patio, but the thing that makes Rosetti special is the staff. They are so friendly and caring, you feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. They keep an eye on Mum's health, both physical and mental, gently encouraging her to join in activities. There is a family style dining area just for her wing, where a little group, who she now describes as her friends, enjoy what I can only describe as restaurant quality food. When I visit, we sit in the central cafe area and enjoy delicious coffee and cakes. The icing on the cake came after taking her out one day, and when we came back, she said "It really feels like coming back home now". To me, that said it all. I can honestly say Rosetti House has not only transformed my Mum's life, but also my own.
Rossetti House has done an excellent job looking after my Mother since she moved in early in January. The staff are wonderful. Visiting is easy. The organisation is very understanding and does their best to accommodate reasonable requests. Above all, my Mother was made to feel part of a community, and quickly settled in. Recommended without hesitation.
My mother stayed for six weeks respite. Nothing was too much trouble. Welcoming and caring both to Mum and the family. Brilliant rooms, facilities and gardens to enjoy. Excellent variety of meals and special alterations made as Mum is gluten-free. Definitely a 100% recommendation from me.
I was a welfare officer for Rotary and visited many times, to see and to report on problems or otherwise. I was fortunate to get a room but only because a very good friend had died. I sleep badly, my day starts with tea and biscuits before 6:30 am, always a smile, lots of kind words and genuine concern from everyone here, 24 hours each day. Everyone cares and everyone listens, making my terminal cancer as bearable as possible. I would list everyone nurses, carers and management under the same heading. Dedicated and professional, superb!
Absolutely nothing to complain about. Fabulous surroundings and facilities. The staff are all very caring and supportive of Mum. All in all, a good experience.
My mother-in-law recently stayed a few weeks convalescing at Rossetti House. Her stay was made welcoming, kind and attentive. All the staff and carers were amazing. I cannot praise them enough. Nothing was too much trouble. The home and garden is well kept. All clean and tidy. A variety of meals everyday. Definitely a recommendation to anyone who may be considering home/respite for a loved one.
Our family have been very impressed with the care, organisation, facilities and safety at Rossetti House. The management and staff are all super friendly and professional and very responsive to questions and requests. The catering and activities are excellent and my mother receives all the medical attention she needs. It is clean, smart and welcoming and my mother is very happy there.
Rossetti House is providing everything I could wish for my parents in this difficult stage of their lives. It's a warm, welcoming place in a beautiful setting, a short stroll along the river path from the market area. Everyone I've met here has been friendly and supportive, helping our family through a period of huge change. The management staff are attentive, positive and responsive, and the care, nursing, catering, housekeeping, reception and activities staff are just fabulous every day. The care planning is respectful and rigorous and the activities offered are creative and stimulating. As a family member/visitor, I feel truly welcome here and able to share a very pleasant time with my parents in the cafe/library and garden.
Both my parents went to Rossetti House in April. They both were made very welcome, and the transition went very smoothly. My mother said to me last week 'we are so lucky to be here, the food is great and the carers are fantastic, they bend over backwards to make us feel at home'. As a relative, it is very difficult to put your loved ones in a care home but the staff were very supportive and keen to learn about what my parents were like and what they liked to do. My father has dementia but still played the piano at home, the staff bought a keyboard so that he and other residents could continue to play. Most importantly my mother and father can be together.
My father came into Rosetti House following a fall at his home. He had repeatedly stated that he would never go into a care home and was clearly very fearful. From the moment he arrived at Rosetti House, he was made to feel welcome, cared for, safe and relaxed, and he surprised us all with how quickly he settled in and how happy he was. Thank you!
The staff had obviously spent much time and effort in decorating the premises creating a cheerful welcome for Christmastide. Activities and entertainment were delightful, including carols from the local choir, and entertainment from the young children and their very talented leader. They must have thought we were a strange lot and I wonder if they realised what joy and pleasure they gave their audience. When we were their age did we ever contemplate that one day we would become old and frail? I doubt it. It was so nice to be able to share Christmas Dinner with my husband, the food and wine were delicious and plentiful. Many thanks for that. It can be difficult trying to be cheerful when your loved one is unwell and may not necessarily understand all that is going on, but I managed to keep my tears and memories in check until I went home. Thank you all at Rossetti House for the loving care you give to both of us. You all demonstrated what the real meaning of Christmas is. God bless you all.
My mother has been a resident for the past 13 months and there has never been a day that we have had any regrets about our choosing Rossetti House to care for her. From day one the care she receives has been excellent, of a high standard, is very individualised and person centred, delivered by skilled, knowledgeable, care/nursing staff, who are all lovely. This personalised care also extends to us, her family, who all the staff throughout the care home have taken the time to get to know, so that as a family we feel supported to continue to be involved in caring for her and are listened to by everyone. Any concerns we may have had or requests that have been made have been dealt with or addressed very promptly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. From the second we step into Rossetti we are made to feel welcome and wanted and that this is Mum’s home, therefore our home! As a person with an wide experience of other care homes, I do feel Rossetti House is definitely one of the best.
My father moved into a ground floor room, with direct access to the lovely garden, six weeks ago. All staff have been kind, professional and caring, treating residents with dignity and with regard to their individual needs. Senior management are very friendly and helpful to residents and families. Visitors are made to feel very welcome and any queries are immediately responded to. The communal areas and café are very attractive. Food is excellent, and residents have access to drinks and snacks at all times. There is a varied programme of activities and social events. The home is divided into smaller 'households' (eg 10 people), sharing a communal dining/sitting/kitchenette area, making for a more intimate and friendly atmosphere. Rossetti House is closely linked with the local community, not only hosting visits from groups such as local choirs and schools, but also organising events to raise money for local charities. All told, we are delighted with the provision at Rossetti House.
Rossetti House has cared for my auntie with the utmost kindness and compassion over the past 8 years. I cannot recommend this wonderful care home highly enough. A huge thank you to all the staff there.
My aunt moved into Rossetti House after a broken hip and was totally unable to return home. We found a wonderful response from the management and staff to allow my aunt to move in quickly. Everyone has been so very friendly and helpful and really trying to help my aunt relax and get used to her new ways of life. At the moment, she is reluctant to mix and join in the activities, but hopefully, she will change. All staff have been so very friendly.
Organised a short-term stay to help my mother recover after an RTA (road traffic accident). She was so well looked after, staff were so helpful and kind. Great food, freshly prepared and carers and nursing staff were excellent.
I have entrusted my wife for her care and well-being to the management and staff of Rossetti House. My wife is suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia. The staff, under management supervision, manage her condition and all that that entails with extreme care and patience. My wife is kept bathed, dressed and well-presented. The staff treat her with dignity and courtesy, as they do me when I visit her. Her room is kept immaculately clean and tidy. My wife had a seizure, a doctor was called, I was informed and she was nursed back to normal tranquillity. With thanks to patient care and management, my wife is well-settled and content. On our 69th wedding anniversary, we were treated to fine-dining together in a private room. The service was excellent and the creative cooking a great pleasure. There are many such imaginative activities for the residents in which they partake and enjoy.
My dad was moved to Rosetti House for end-of-life care after a traumatic experience in the hospital. They treated him with respect and kindness and were very attentive, with nothing being too much trouble. They helped us to manage our expectations, and we’re so respectful of him and such a different experience from what he received one the weeks prior to this. We will forever be grateful for the dignity they gave to him and the patience and understanding they gave to us as his family.
Mum moved in to Rossetti House from a local hospital after a stroke. Having looked at three other care homes in Frome, we settled on Rossetti as it came 'head and shoulders' above the others. All of the staff, including the manager, are so approachable and caring, nothing is too much trouble! They all seem to make time for every one of their residents and family members. Having a relation in a Wiltshire care home, we can see the houses. Rossetti has a positive atmosphere. I will be booking my place here.
My mother arrived at Rossetti House on 23rd March and she is still settling in. The process from looking around Rossetti to securing a room was very efficient and a member of staff was always happy to answer any questions with kindness and support. It was a very stressful time and I felt reassured throughout. I think Rossetti House is lovely, staff appear happy and very accommodating. I have been very impressed with the individual care planning process that takes place and I feel listened to when chatting about Mum's care needs. There is lots of communication between staff and clients that I notice. It's lovely that there are so many activities on, not always suitable for everyone, but I noticed that activities can be made more appropriate for individuals. I'm hoping to get Mum out to listen to the birds singing and go for short woodland walks. It really is a lovely place with a friendly, calm and caring environment inside and out and I notice the attention to detail.
