View Full Details of Maids Moreton HallMy father had a last-minute admission for respite care following a hospital stay after a stroke. Maids Moreton Hall was most welcoming at a time of high stress levels and family worries. They provided that vital transition between acute hospital care and getting home. I was really impressed with the staff who were so kind to my dad, thank you from all of the family.
Very welcoming. Very friendly. Staff approachable. Relaxed atmosphere. Very clean. Meals of very top quality.
My dad moved into the home during Covid, which was a scary time for the world. Maids Moreton Hall made the transition painless and with the pod, we were still able to visit. Three years later, my dad is a happy, settled resident, who participates in all sorts of activities. The care staff are all amazing with his complex needs, and it now feels like I have a huge extended family.
I chose Maids Moreton Hall for my mother who had been living on her own in Devon and had a stroke so she knew she could no longer cope at home. I was impressed when I visited the Hall. She has settled in well - the staff are so friendly and everyone has a smile for residents. The home has a very happy atmosphere and is very comfortable like a hotel. They have plenty of activities and trips out to keep residents busy and now the weather is warming up they can all enjoy the lovely gardens. The food is excellent and there is always plenty of choice for whatever residents would like. The home is also very hot on communication with regular residents and family meetings. Overall we are very impressed and Mum is now settling in well and making friends. I would recommend it to anybody.
My friend has been in Maids Moreton Hall for eighteen months. It was hard at the beginning but now she could not be happier. She is looked after in all aspects - care, hygiene, food and general wellbeing. The nurse is excellent and the staff member on reception is always friendly and very welcoming. All staff are very friendly, always chat when I go in. Any issues will get sorted out. My friend could not be in a better place.
My mother-in-law has recently deteriorated following a 10 day hospital stay. She was keen to get 'home' as she refers to Maids Moreton Hall - and the welcome back she received was great. The care has been adapted seamlessly to take care of her additional needs and her carers are totally amazing. I can't speak highly enough about the whole home. 100% recommended.
Very pleased with the care and support my mum has received. The staff are lovely and treat her with dignity and respect. It is a huge comfort to know she is safe and well looked after at all times.
My father had a very dignified end to his life at Maids Moreton Hall. The care provided during his entire stay was of the highest standard. The quantity of the staff and their commitment to all aspects of care provision is exceptional. When he was able to understand about his care he was very happy. When he was confused and in decline I was certain that he couldn't have had better 24/7 care. Grateful thanks to all the staff.
From the first moment I arrived to have a look around I felt reassured that Maids Moreton Hall Would be perfect for Mum. The rooms are high quality with excellent facilities, but most importantly the staff really care for the residents and that the residents are happy. The level of care is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble from the manager down
The staff are delightful, really kind and very helpful. Staff at every level seem to enjoy their work and ensure that our friend's needs are paramount. The entrance hall and the first-floor landing are so welcoming and decor and furniture.
We have been delighted with the care afforded to my father following his entry to Maids Moreton Hall in February of this year. It has been a wonderful experience for us to see him settled into what we believe is the best available care. He has responded so well to his circumstances and we are thankful to have found such a well-managed home, staffed by so many wonderful and considerate carers. They are a credit to themselves and to the leadership under which they are managed.
We moved my Dad to Maids Morton Hall in March of this year from another care home. From the moment we arrived and settled Dad in he was happy with his new surroundings, his room looked out onto the gardens and the church. Dad went on a trip that was fantastic for him and he continued to chat about the experience. The care that Dad was given was second to none from all staff. We as a family were made to feel part of the Maids Morton family form day one and I class the staff there as friends. Dad sadly passed away while at the home but he was treated with dignity during his last few days. I can't thank all of the staff and management for all they did for us in making Dad welcome and part of the home.
Mum has now been at Maids Moreton Hall for two months and we are very happy with the care she is receiving. Her room is lovely and she is very comfortable in her surroundings. We've seen wonderful photos of her taking part in activities and the carers always stop to chat with us whenever we visit. We are hoping Mum gets out on some of the day trips now the weather has improved, there is a great variety to choose from. We are also planning to book the private dining room for a treat.
Maid Moreton Hall has become my Granny's home, and the staff an extension of our family. Moving Granny was a difficult decision for us all, but she's now closer to us and so much safer. We couldn't be happier with Granny's care and thank all the staff for welcoming her and keeping her safe and happy!
Maids Moreton Hall is very welcoming and friendly. The staff are very helpful and the carers are outstanding, they are so caring, loving and fun, which all the residents want. My dad is very happy and comfortable and well looked after. I'm so glad I chose Maids Moreton Hall. His room has a lovely view of the beautiful garden and Maids Moreton church.
A lovely and friendly environment. Mum has been at Maids Moreton Care Home for eight months. In my experience, the staff at every level are the right mix of professional, caring, communicative and helpful. When problems arise, they are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
The very caring staff have consistently (over six years) supported Mum. This comes in so many ways, including personal care, cleaning, feeding, entertainment and activities, listening, humour, management, maintenance, medical support, friendship, etc! Our family really appreciates the support throughout, especially in covid times and as her abilities have reduced over time. Thank you, you are a blessing.
The staff are very caring and capable. They vary in their depth of knowledge of residents’ needs, but in the main, they cope very well with some difficult situations. The menu and food involved vary greatly, with very often, portions being too large, even though residents ask for small. Very costly!
My four-week respite at Maids Moreton Hall was very uplifting. The staff were so caring and friendly and helpful. I certainly miss their help in so many ways. I was able to make friends who I shall be pleased to continue to respect and perhaps visit. My room was always kept clean and tidy by the staff and of course, everywhere was warm. The district nurse attending to me was so much better than my experience at home. Senior staff were also very approachable and willing to help where necessary. My stay at Maids Morton Hall will remain in my memory forever. I only wish that my dear wife could also experience the pleasure of your care. Thank you all for a very pleasant stay.
The entire team was excellent. The care and love that my grandmother received was beyond what my family expected and allowed my grandmother to live a happy and dignified life. The team, at all levels, from management, carers, housekeeping and catering worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible care and love was provided. Thank you all.
