View Full Details of Bridge House Care HomeMy room was ready when I arrived. The meals were all generous portions and nicely served. The lunchtime meals in the bistro were shared with my visiting husband daily, with a granddaughter twice and with my daughter and her husband. All were made to feel welcome. It was useful to have the week's programme and I attended most 11:30 programmes, the afternoon concert and quiz. The keep-fit class was positive and worth attending. The afternoon concert was very entertaining and a high standard. Safety and security, anyone could come in any time.
Wow! This place blows me away. Since my lovely dad arrived in November, he has only received five-star treatment. I cannot thank each and every staff member enough. Their positive and 'will do' attitude is outstanding. Seeing my dad with a huge smile on his face is priceless and I will be forever grateful. Thank you Bridge House Care Home from the bottom of my heart.
I have come back for three weeks respite into Bridge House Care Home as I know I will be well looked after and cared for. The nurses and staff look after my every need and get me back to eating properly and ready to go home again. This is my second time at Bridge House. The home is spotless and well-run. My room is lovely. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Activities every day and plenty of tea and coffee and food. There is a cinema, gym, beauty and hair salon. You could wish for nothing else, it's a happy place.
Bridge House Care Home provides excellent care and service to the residents. My father was happy and well cared for in the ten weeks he was here. His family were always treated with care and respect as was my father.
My friend lives in Bridge House Care Home and loves the place. The carers are helpful, friendly. Housekeeper helpful. Such a lovely place. Clean, tidy and relaxing home. Enjoying coming in to see everyone.
My mother has been a resident as Bridge House Care Home for 4 months now. She has settled in very well and the family are extremely happy with the care she receives. All staff are polite courteous and caring to residents and visitors.
I recently spent a day at Bridge House Care Home and the experience was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Staff's warmth and professionalism made me feel welcome and at ease. The facility was spotless and the comfortable atmosphere contributed to a sense of peace and wellbeing. Overall, Bridge House is providing outstanding care to my dad with a welcoming, clean and supportive environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking high quality nursing home care.
I visited bridge care home to see my uncle. It was a great experience. The atmosphere of the home was very pleasant. I loved the place and staff are very cooperative and trained. My uncle shared his experience with me. He was very happy.
The home is beautiful, like being in a stately home. There are carers ready to take account of your smallest need and to do it with a warm, friendly smile. I stayed at the home for a short time as I have a lot of pain and have no one to care for me at home. However, I did find the lack of personal autonomy difficult so will try to find additional support in my home.
My wife has been at Bridge House Care Home for two and a half years suffering from advanced dementia. She is generally happy in Bridge House and as I see her once a week, I have seen the high standard of care and life she has been encouraged to take part in activities, the home is good value for money and hopefully, despite ing=flamitory costs, the increase next year will be less than 8%.
We are looked after very well.
When the 'A' team are on duty, excellent care, not always the same care by others, "little things matter"! Wonderful home environment.
Extremely thoughtful and caring.
My mother loved her fortnight respite stay and was loved and cared for by all the lovely staff so much so that she was reluctant to leave! She looks so well and happy and was made to feel very welcome. She will be back when the next holiday comes along for my brother or me.
You ask me not to mention names, but there are staff names that I will not forget. Each has become a friend in his/her unique way. Thank you. I will never know how you do it, but I can pass in a corridor someone I have never seen before and hear myself greeted by name! It has been a formative experience for me, to sit at a meal and talk with stroke victims (or those with a minor degree of dementia) and to find that, with a little listening and a question or two, I can bring the table to life with happy, if sometimes incomprehensible, chatter. I have not given the highest rating for food, but I can see your difficulties.
All the staff have worked very hard to give the residents a special Christmas with lots of activities for them to enjoy. As always, my relative has been well cared for by the kind and friendly staff. Thank you.
My husband has been in Bridge House now for four months. I've been very impressed by how the staff welcomed him and worked hard to understand and adjust to his needs, both physical and cognitive. They have also made me and other family members feel very welcome when we visit. Their activities programme is excellent, with a real effort made to cater to individual interests and abilities. I often take him down to the Bistro for a cup of coffee when I visit, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere with a welcome not just from staff but from other residents and visitors. It is also very helpful to be so near the centre of Abingdon so I can take him out for a cup of coffee in the town.
Staff make you feel welcome, make efforts to have personal contact with residents and their family members. Offer an extensive range of activities for residents and their families. Christmas program was great and the outside lights were amazing.
A very warm, friendly place, all staff are exceptionally helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Entertainment was good with many activities held in the garden. My husband was in Bridge House Care Home for respite care. During his stay, all staff knew him by name, even if they didn't work with him. I was very apprehensive before his stay but now I know that I can happily leave him there knowing that he will be well cared for by the Bridge House family.
I was very apprehensive to start but all was good. My experience has been very good. I have relaxed and been able to join different social occasions. Food was excellent. All staff very kind and helpful. Lots of things to do and also outings/
