I would like to thank a new carer at Norbury Court for going above and beyond their duties towards my mum as a resident and taking the time to speak to me and my dad about Mum. It is really hard to leave especially when you have been married 66 years and can not care for your wife anymore. Thank you.
Do not use this care home under any circumstance! This home is badly run, it smells and was filthy when my mom was placed there after being sent from hospital. It was so bad I took her out after less than 24 hours, it was horrific! They wrote her room number on a pale yellow T-shirt on the back of it to see her labelled was heart-breaking, even worse that it was on her back and everyone apart from her could see it! Manager never came back to me. I had to deal with head office and after many phone calls got an apology. This home is disgusting. Residents that were bed bound just left with the tv blaring out at them no interaction just heart-breaking to see.
A need for more carers - the carers who are there are wonderful.
I was able to take my client, who is immobile, to watch a football match by his favourite team thanks to the fantastic support of the staff, and senior care assistant in particular. I know this really meant a lot for my client and proved to be an exciting experience for him. He even got to meet many of the players afterwards, including the captain, who had their pictures taken with him. These will all go in his album for him to treasure.
The staff were all very pleasant and kind, that includes cleaners and domestic staff. Lovely and sympathetic to me when I was upset because of my husband's condition. All are very understanding as his behaviour could be challenging.
Mum has been in Norbury Court for about six weeks. She is looked after, always clean and I feel she is looked after. All the staff are friendly towards Mum and always stop by for a chat. I have found that no request is too much trouble for any of the staff. Everyone is willing to help in what must a challenging environment. Everyone has a smile on their face which is wonderful. Happy that my mum is in Norbury Court.
We were reluctant for Dad to go into a care home but we need not have worried. It took a while for him to settle but nothing was too much trouble in the assistance we received to make his room homely. The staff are amazing and work hard, the manager has been extremely helpful in meeting any requests we make to ensure Dad is comfortable.
I have one complaint about Norbury Court: they do not always ring you regarding any incidents. I know he is not the only patient, but it means a lot to me. Apart from that, I have no qualms about Norbury Court. Thank you.
My brother has been with you for a few months now. He is settling in very well, the staff are all very caring and helpful. He can have a laugh and a joke with them. He has come on so well since being in your care. Thank you for looking after him in a lovely way.
Dad has only been in the home since January and is coming on in leaps and bounds. Cannot praise the staff high enough this is certainly one home that I would recommend to family and friends. Staff are friendly and show the utmost respect for all residents.
My brother has been in your care for a little over two months, he arrived in a very confused state but over this period I have seen a substantial improvement in both his health and welfare. This is of course due to the dedication and support of wonderful caring people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My dad has been with you now for a little under 6 months, while his memory is failing, his physical condition is improving with each visit. Your staff are amazing and a testament to the home and your residents.
Lovely care home and staff. Look after my grandmother very well and always helpful.
My father was well looked after by caring and supporting staff. Sadly he passed away in June. The care he received during his final days was delivered with sincerity and dignity and the support they gave was excellent.
My dad is so happy here they treat him with so much dignity. So happy for dad to be here.
Extremely happy with the care that is provided to my dad.
Carehome runs well and everyone is friendly and helpful.
Mum has only been in the care home four months but mum seems very settled, well presented on visits and has put on a little weight, so is liking the food. Staff are friendly and professional and I have no complaints.
I find the staff helpful and kind. The home is spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff regarding residents and their family. I would recommend this home.
I am greeted with great pleasantness. I am glad that my mum is being well looked after. The staff are always polite and are very friendly and welcoming. The receptionist is very friendly and lets me book to see my mum when I am going home which saves me having to ring up to make my next appointment.
