View Full Details of Moorland Gardens Care HomeMorland Gardens are the best care home I have ever seen. My great-grandmother is in Morland Gardens and she is having the best time. I am forever grateful for them and I would say they're the best care home in the London area.
I find everything about Moorland Gardens excellent, the staff go above and beyond with their help and care. They make you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive. It's spotlessly clean and you see the cleaners working nonstop. The food is fantastic. I know my partner is well looked after and cared for, it makes me feel at areas knowing this. There is nothing I could find fault with, keep up the good work, you have great staff working there.
Moorland Gardens Care Home was kind and caring. All the staff were lovely, very patient and very considerate, putting their client's best interests first. The home was spotlessly clean, and all the food that was served was always hot and of very good quality. Communication between ourselves and the home was excellent and kept us informed at all times, and the staff were very supportive of us at this very difficult time.
This care home is the best. Very clean, does not smell like other care homes I have visited. The staff are so friendly and caring, they are all heroes to me and my wife; they are a credit to your care home.
Our mum is currently a resident in this care home and has been for the past few months. We as a family are very pleased with the care, attention and compassion she is regularly receiving. After several other homes have failed to look after her, we are so relieved we have found this one.
Overall very satisfied with the care our late mum received at Moorland Gardens. Mum could at times be very challenging due to her dementia/Alzheimer's. The staff did very well to calm her in sometimes difficult situations. Some staff were better than others but overall they were all very good.
My mother was in Moorlands over Christmas and we cannot thank the staff and management enough. The care is excellent and the staff are always friendly and engaging and the cleanliness of the home is top-notch. Although my mum does not really know what is happening, she always seems to enjoy her time there and we can't speak highly enough about the care and compassion shown by the whole team.
My mum had been with the team at Moorland Gardens Care Home since April 2021 until she passed away last week. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, compassion and engagement given to her whilst with them. With vascular dementia throughout and a lack of mobility for most of the stay, she was definitely a high-needs and challenging resident. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
We feel, as a family, that he is certainly in the best place for his health. Although he might not appreciate or understand why he is there, it is certainly reassuring for the family to know he’s safe. Although he doesn’t have his freedom, it’s a lot better for him to be in a secure home with a clean bed/food and, most importantly, the right medication. When I visited him yesterday, it was the best I had seen him for a long while. Although I know his condition changes, seeing him yesterday makes it all worthwhile being there.
My mother has been a resident at Moorland Gardens since 2021 and she has been very happy there, the staff have been excellent in looking after her and they have treated her with respect and compassion.
I visited my sister and she was all ready in her wheelchair dressed up to go for a visit to the shopping centre in her chair. The staff were polite and my sister was well cared for and her room was kept clean and tidy. It would benefit my sister to have more physio so she can stand up without the use of a hoist.
My Stepmother was admitted to hospital for several weeks and then spent time at Moorlands Gardens for respite and assessment. During this time she was treated in a caring and professional manner of the highest order. On visiting there were strict protocols to follow, e.g. booking a visit, testing for covid and temperature on arrival and mask-wearing. The doors on the routes to the units were keypad controlled. The staff were always helpful and engaged really well with my stepmother, who apart from her recent illness also has early dementia and Alzheimers, so the bewilderment of being in a new environment was an ever-present concern. She was treated very well indeed. Thank you to all staff and management at Moorland Gardens.
My 92-year-old father was superbly looked after and shown great respect and patience at all times. His every need was catered for. He was very happy and enjoyed being surrounded with the love and company of the other residents, carers, nurses and all dinner staff. The reception area always greeted me with a big smile and would answer all my queries immediately. I told my dad he was on a five-star holiday, fully inclusive and ensuite in his spotless bedroom.
The care home has always been very caring to my wife, which would not have been easy. Staff always provide a high standard of hygiene and ensure visitors conform to strict COVID precautions. Staff are always helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
My wife was fortunate to be able to reside on amber floor for the past 5 years until her passing, following her diagnosis of early-onset dementia/Alzheimer's. She was treated with care, respect and dignity by all staff. They are to be congratulated for their dedication under difficult circumstances, especially during the COVID outbreak.
Mum was very well looked after on one of the nursing units. She was made to feel comfortable and was well looked after by the staff - always looked well cared for and clean. Staff are fantastic and do an amazing job. Thank you.
My brother has been shown real care and excellent nursing and personal concern as he enters the last stages of his life. I have been kept informed never needing to ask. This home provided wonderfully compassionate care and respect for him - all members of staff I have met have known him and his needs, medical, physical and mental. We are deeply grateful for their skills and humanity.
My father-in-law passed away in June 2022 after a year in Moorland Gardens Care Home only 18 months after my mother-in-law, who was also cared for by the Moorlands team. Near the end of his time, he got very confused and kept getting out of bed and falling over regardless of having preventions in place. The staff would always let us know and always got the medics in to see if he needed to go to the hospital and kept us informed. He even tried to get out of the bed when I was visiting and I pressed the button for the staff because he was so determined to get up. The manager and all the team are amazing and I shall always be thankful to them for caring for both of my in-laws. They will still see me occasionally as they are like an extension of the family.
The staff at Moorland Gardens Care Home looked after my mother for over 3-years, until her death last month. They treated her with respect, and we are very grateful for all they did for my mother. The staff do incredible work every day and are a credit to their profession and your company. We cannot thank them enough for all they did with patience and kindness, and their leader is wonderful.
Very good and friendly staff. Very good and clean room. Accommodating. Good and beautiful area.
