View Full Details of Maitland Park Care HomeThe manager and his team are excellent. They took care of my mother in her last days with dignity and pride. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and am eternally grateful for their kindness to me. Thank you, team.
The manager and his wonderful team are exceptional. Their care I cannot express enough how good it was, the communication was clear and precise. It was under very difficult circumstances that they took over the care of my Mother as she was in the last stages of life. The room she was in was like a five-star Hotel, just perfect! Thanks again, Team.
I am very happy with the home. Mum is always clean and well cared for. Her room and bedding are always spotless. The overall cleanliness is excellent. I am always kept informed of any problems by phone. All the staff are very caring and I am always received with a warm welcome by the reception staff, whatever time I visit. Overall, I am very happy with the service.
Two carers were so kind caring and lovely to my auntie. They also made my husband and I very welcome and made us a drink. Also, the receptionist was lovely and all the other staff on that day were very nice. My Auntie looked contented which was lovely to see. Also, I was asked who I was in relation to my Auntie, which I thought was very good because the carer had not seen me before, which had not happened before but I thought that was a very good security check.
Residents are encouraged to make decisions about their care. Staff are very responsive and caring to people's needs. A variety of activities are provided, staff are friendly, helpful, welcoming and willing to listen and make adjustments as requested. Big Thank you to all the staff keep up the good work.
My grandma moved to Maintland Park Care Home last year after some scares. I used to live with her and the family, but it became harder and harder to keep up and be there on the clock. This place is Very good, welcoming and caring, they really go the extra mile- and they are there at all hours to help her, check on her, give her the meds and make sure she doesn't miss anything I come to see my grandma every week and they are always there, asking her about her day and if she is happy with the food and making jokes to keep her enterntained, truly a care home, a five-star place
After surgery on a broken leg and suffering from Alzheimer's, my husband was discharged from the hospital into permanent residential care at Maitland Park. I was reluctant at first to accept this, but now, after two months, he has settled in. He is very well looked after, and the staff keep a close eye on his physical well-being. He enjoys all the activities and interactions with the kind and caring staff. We enjoyed the open day for the 10th anniversary of Maitland Park and appreciated how the long-serving residents and members of staff were acknowledged. I can now relax in the knowledge that he is in safe and caring hands.
I came to visit my brother on the day of the 10th anniversary of the care home, it was a lovely experience and very nice to see all the residents including my brother being able to watch the celebrations, the staff were amazing. Very impressed. I will say that the receptionist has always been exceptional and so professional.
My sister moved to Maitland Park on 13/2/2023 and each time I visit the service, I find the staff are welcoming, kind and polite. They really have helped my sister settle in well at the home, which has given me reassurance that I made the right choice of care home for my sister. Thanks to all the staff.
I am always made to feel welcome when I come into the building to visit my friend, who is frail, bedbound and needs 24-hour nursing care. She has been a resident since June 2020, has a nice ensuite room, is warm and treated with kindness and respect. The kitchen team have noted her (very particular) food preferences and do their best to keep her happy. The activities team provide imaginative opportunities to keep the mind engaged and are injecting festive fun into the atmosphere with Christmas coming. Friend is more peaceful than ever before.
Extremely impressed with very cooperative staff.
My mother has Alzheimer's and is a resident at Maitland care home and I live in the United States. She has been there for a little over two years now and I couldn't be happier with the care she is receiving. I visit 2 to 3 times a year and call her 2 to 3 times a week. The staff have remained the same for that whole period which I think is very important. They are caring, friendly and informative, speak to me on the phone and are always very welcoming when I visit. They seem genuinely fond of the residents there and treat them all with respect and affection. I have not seen all the activities but those that I have seen they run with enthusiasm and good humour. My Mother had a fall last year and they took very good care of her when she returned from the Hospital and she is doing remarkably well. I would strongly recommend this care home to anyone in need of this kind of this kind of care for a family member.
