View Full Details of Brentwood Arches Care Home - Avery CollectionI stayed at the at Brentwood Arches Care Home in January 2025 for two weeks on respite and my experience was amazing from start to finish. The care was absolutely outstanding and the commitment of the staff was a joy to see and be around. There was always something going on and the sound of joy and laughter was never far away especially when the entertainment team were onsite. Food was great and even family members who visited were welcomed with drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend and stay here again. Thank you Brentwood Arches.
My mother was in Brentwood Arches Care Home for nearly 3 months and was treated extremely well by everyone and was made very welcome by the residents in the home. Even my family was made welcome to eat and drink at anytime and the food was very good with great selection. The entertainment was varied from singers to bingo and much more. Thank you Brentwood Arches.
My mother spent the final eight or so months of her life at Brentwood Arches Care Home, latterly in the Woodlands dementia unit. Her care was absolutely outstanding and the commitment of the staff to the contentment and safety of residents is unwavering. They truly care about every single resident, know their likes and dislikes and make everyone feel special and seen. The wing is filled with cheer and goodwill, with laughter ringing out and a sense of calm all around. She was truly happy these last few weeks. I can't thank you enough for all you have done for her, whilst also frequently checking in with the family and always providing friendly listening ears and frequent cups of tea. More widely, away from the Woodlands wing, the home is clean, friendly, warm, comfortable, welcoming and fun. The happiness of the residents is evident as soon as you walk through the door.
A wonderful environment. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. I can certainly rest at night with the knowledge that my mother is in safe and caring hands.
Since our Mum arrived at The Arches teh care has been phenomenal. All the staff have gone over and beyond to ensure our mum is comfortable. Our mum's appetite and well-being have improved immensely. We cannot thank you enough.
This care home is amazing the staff are very nice and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My mum has improved so much since staying here and has settled very well and this is due to having very dedicated staff.
A truly wonderful home. My dad has a new lease of life since moving into Brentwood Arches Care Home in January 2023. All staff are wonderful. caring and attentive, simply wouldn't want my dad to be anywhere else.
We have been delighted with Mum's care. The current lack of the online portal is the only complaint we have had. Staff are excellent at all levels, from general manager to reception, carers and cleaners, all are friendly and caring.
My mother joined this week and my father is arriving a week later. So far, this review is based on the first week. I hope to be able to confirm the same review after a longer period of time. The staff are fantastic with my mother and thus far have been a great start to a difficult time. One observation would be to provide a starter pack for new residents and family and a meeting after the first week to ensure all is going in the right direction and to avoid any uncertainties.
Very nice, friendly and clean. Good place.
It's a lovely place, but the night staff are nowhere near as good as the day staff. We don't get notified if there's a problem, eg Dad gets taken to the hospital by ambulance; we don't know until Dad calls from the hospital! Food is awful, not good for what they spend per month. Not enough staff.
We've had a great experience with The Beeches. The staff are always there and are happy to help the residents. There are lots of activities, and the staff are always encouraging everyone to join in and have fun. The receptionists are very jolly and are happy to help and answer our questions. Great place - we love it!
It has to be said this care home is lovely. We cannot fault this home at all. Upon entering was met by a charming receptionist and was offered tea, juice, cake, and biscuits as our sister-in-law was being attended to. Her room was warm and airy. All my sister-in-law's needs were attended to. The home is like home-from-home. It's a pity not all care homes are like this.
The staff are always very friendly and willing to help! They are bubbly and fun, especially the receptionists and the team leader on the second floor. Highly recommend!
Excellent! The Beeches provide great care for residents, along with a range of activities! The staff are amazing and really care for the residents. The receptionists are always smiley and upbeat, and willing to help! We highly recommend The Beeches!
When visiting my dad, I am alwats greeted with a smile. The two receptionists are always so positive and helpful. All the staff are so lovely and put so much time and effort into caring for my dad. Highly recommend The Beeches!
My husband arrived here in January 2023 in very poor mental and physical health. During his time here, he has "come back" to life with all the care he has received. I cannot praise them enough. The welcome we received and continue to receive is like being among old friends; everyone is so understanding, and nothing is too much trouble.
Homely/friendly atmosphere. Very good care. She likes the meals - has no complaints. She appreciated the freedom of The Beeches. The admin staff at from desk always helpful and friendly. I feel this is important because they are the first contact on entry. Activities staff are very good.
Well, what can I say about The Beeches? When I came in here, I was in a very poorly state. The Beeches in all the staff, particularly the nurses absolutely sorted me out. Efficiently, kindly and caringly. I have loved and enjoyed my life here - even through the pandemic and spoamodic later outbreaks of Covid. I am fairly mobile, so am able and enjoy to keep up with family, friends, hobbies and holidays outside The Beeches. But whenever I go outside The Beeches, people say to me, "you look so good". A testament in no small art to The Beeches.
Mum came to Signature at The Beeches after hip replacement surgery and for rehabilitation. She has been with you for the last year and I have been extremely happy with the level of care she has received. The staff are so friendly and meet her needs expertly. There is a very good level of understanding of her needs and her health and well-being are monitored to ensure that she has continued to thrive. I am happy knowing I can leave her in the knowledge that she is well cared for and stimulated. There are so many activities she can be involved in and a routine that makes her feel comfortable and secure.
