View Full Details of Barchester Beaufort GrangeI spent 3 weeks at Beaufort Grange following major surgery on my ankle. I was impressed with the level of welcome from the first time I met some of the staff on a visit earlier in the year. I was so well looked after by every member of staff. The rooms are attractive and the whole building has more of the quality of a hotel rather than a hospital as well. Having said that it has a homely feel to it. I am very grateful to everyone for caring for me so well and giving me the confidence to get back on my feet. I shall recommend you to all my friends. Thank you
My Dad has been with Beaufort since Nov 2023 and like all relatives you feel apprehension, anxiety, sadness and all kinds of emotions when making the decision to go this route. Beaufort from the moment those sliding doors opened Dad was treated like a long lost friend. The home seems more like a hotel with a small little bistro inside, coffee, tea chocolate on tap and freshly baked cakes for you to help yourself. The staff are all happy, smiles and good mornings the norm. My Dad has entrenched himself in, is really content, the meds having been completely sorted now he's under their GP and they really care and understand about dementia. There is a particular lady on my Dads floor who is absolutely wonderful, helpful, caring and she always seems to be there (don't know when she sleeps!), my Dad gives her winks and knows she's good and not a threat (dementia trait) what she and all the others do is hard work, stuff a lot of us would not do. Thank you Brilliant Beaufort.
I cannot imagine another nursing home coming, even close to what Barchester Beaufort Grange offers. As a retired nurse, I am very particular in the standards I expect in the care of my husband with my husband with dementia and Parkinson's. It's like being on a cruise ship with amazing food and daily entertainment with the highest standards of nursing care, compassion, kindness, dignity for my husband. He is so well cared for with very high needs and is thriving. I cannot thank the staff enough!
Mum has been in Beaufort Grange for respite care. We have been very happy with the care given and Mum has participated in the many activities which she has thoroughly enjoyed. All the staff have been very kind and welcoming. It's a real home from home.
The staff are amazing and my dad is happy with the place. Staff are very approachable.
Mum joined Barchester Beaufort Grange in June 2024 and although she was only there a couple of months, she never needed for anything. The staff, support staff, carers, nurses and management were friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure Mum and our family were looked after. Mum, during her stay, was encouraged to take part in activities and joined a lovely friend network. Beaufort Grange was fantastic in her last week of life. Thank you for all your support Beaufort Grange.
My father-in-law needed to go into a care home that also catered for dementia. We looked at a couple and from the first moment stepping into Barchester Beaufort Grange, we were welcoming, we were shown around and nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I had decided on the journey back home that this was the right care home for my father-in-law. My father-in-law is still settling in but he seems happy. We loved the fact that he is on level 1 memory lane which is so much better than dementia level. All the staff are friendly, they also pop their heads in to speak. We get phone calls on any care that is happening or changing. It's bright and clean always. Highly recommend and we are making friends along the way.
My experience of Barchester Beaufort Grange has always been very positive. Whether over the telephone, in reception or in and around service user's room. Staff have been friendly and helpful, the room is clean and tidy and I feel my service user is safe and well cared for. Thank you all. Not in a position to comment on value for money.
I came to Barchester Beaufort Grange Care Home to be looked after. The care is great and staff are good. When I buzzed the bell. My room is clean and excellent meals are good and I am happy to be here.
Lovely home and great staff.
I am very happy with the care and support given to my husband. He is always treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. The standard of cleanliness is very high, both in the room and general areas. The food choice is varied and well cooked and presented. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barchester Beaufort Grange to care for anyone's loved ones.
Mum has been at Barchester Beaufort Grange for four days now, she's settling in well and being well cared for by the care coordinator and team. Everyone is very kind and caring trying to accommodate Mum's needs.
The care home was excellent throughout. They worked with us and guided us at every stage. The staff are professional and caring, particularly the home administrator who helped us from initial contact until the end.
I visit one of the residents at Barchester Beaufort Grange. (I am an ex-carer myself). I have always found the staff very polite. The rooms are very airy and kept very clean. There is a weekly programme of activities which the residents can choose to do if they wish. When visiting, you can make yourself a drink or have a cake and cookie if you wish. I would not hesitate to put a relative or friend in this lovely home.
My father and stepmother had a week of respite care in Beaufort Grange. They both loved it. Loads of activities which they both enjoyed. They said every member of staff was amazing, doing everything possible to care for them. Just a couple of comments for improvement. At one stage, during the guest receiving process, there were 6 members of staff in their room with me, asking about their lunch requirements, clothes, medication etc. Just 1 person could have covered these topics in a much calmer way, for me. My stepmother has dementia but not my father. I asked that they dine in a restaurant away from the dementia area, to give my Dad some better conversation etc. This did not happen routinely. Overall, Beaufort Grange was exceptional and I hope they will return soon.
Staff lovely, make you feel at home. Love the sensory room and bistro. Dad's had such good care, food is great too Dad loves it. Rooms are of a good size and so are the lounges, can't fault the home at all.
Mom has been at Barchester Beaufort Grange for nearly two years now. She is well cared for and simply says she is so well looked after.
A professionally run operation with excellent facilities and activities. The staff are always competent, friendly and helpful providing the highest levels of care and support to residents and visitors.
I found the staff very caring and professional, making my whole experience very relaxing and certainly helped my recovery.
Our aunt is staying on Memory Lane. She’s well cared for and happy, which is most important. I would recommend the home after seeing my aunt so settled.
