Lovely staff and clean facilities. Staff are always visible and engage in a nice manner with the elderly. I did not see any management as I go on weekends but all staff is managed in a proficient manner.

Wow, just wow! Arkwright House is a truly wonderful care home with the most amazing staff. My dear mother is a vulnerable 85-year-old with dementia and from the moment we entered the building and were greeted by happy smiling faces, I knew I had made the right choice. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, tidy and welcoming. I know it's early days, but I feel confident that Mum will make this adjustment with ease, supported by the most caring, dedicated and supportive staff I could have wished for. I wanted to name some individuals for praise but there are so many that I could mention that I'll just say a big thank you to all of them for making what could've been a challenging time, straightforward and easy. I am so grateful to you all. This is truly a 5-star establishment and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone needing a place for their loved ones. In fact, I'm so impressed with the whole package that I am going to try my hardest to bring my Dad over too! My mum had an accident (toilet) the staff were brilliant - Mum was worried and asked 'who dropped all this water' one staff member said 'don't worry it was me' this was a lovely anecdote - one of many.

The care my mother received at Garfield House was very good. They were kind, thoughtful and attentive. The home is clean, the food is good and the rooms are warm. The staff are brilliant and we can't thank them enough for looking after our mam for the last 5 years of her life. If I had to sum up Garfield House in a few words it would be 'They are a safe pair of hands'.

My dad came in here after suffering a bleed on the brain. The staff here are amazing. The food choice is lovely, they go above & beyond to see to his needs. Cannot fault them at all. My dad isn't the easiest of patients, he is always clean & tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to place someone here you dearly love Thank you, Team Arkwright.

Home from home! What more can I say about Arkwright House having the most caring staff and the atmosphere as soon as you walk into the building is so warm and welcoming. During the time Dad has been here he looks very relaxed and happy, he has also gained some weight due to the excellent standard of care given by the lovely staff. The unit is extremely well managed by the manager and it is kept very clean by the lovely housekeeping staff. I would highly recommend Arkwright House to anyone who wants excellent quality of care for an elderly relative.

I have quite a lot of experience with residential homes having been a nursing sister, then working for Social Services reviewing residents in care homes so it took me several weeks viewing 8 homes then viewing Arkwright House, I felt it is a comfortable, caring environment, clean and the staff all are very friendly and informative. My uncle has never asked to go back home at all, he appears happy, well-looked after and settled. I am very happy with Arkwright House.

Arkwright House has the best staff they are so lovely, helpful and caring, my father loves being here it's like being with family. I do not need to worry about him as he is very happy where he is. They have lots of activities for them to do each week, taking them on trips out to the beach and local areas. Staff are very attentive, care about my father's interests and his family, they see to all his needs. And contact me if he needs anything, all staff have a lovely happy personality always asking if residents are ok, it's always a lovely atmosphere I enjoy visiting my Dad each week.

As a visitor, the door is always answered with a smile. I ask 'how's Mum' and all the staff know who I'm talking about (including cook if she's about). This reassures me and assures me Mum is treated as an individual.

Excellent service. Staff so kind. I feel good Mum is in good hands. Activities are brilliant. Mum likes the food. Very calm environment. Would recommend the unit.

Mum moved here over 12 months ago and immediately settled. If asked, she says that she is happy there. There are activities every day and they will encourage residents to join in, but Mum prefers the quiet of her room, which they respect. There is also a hairdresser on sight and manicures and pedicures are available. Meals are good and prompt and there are plenty of brews delivered throughout the day with a smile. The staff are always attentive and caring. Whenever I call her room is clean and tidy. They are aware of any issues that arise, and promptly address them as best they can, keeping me informed. I feel I can go to any one of them if I have any concerns or queries regarding Mum and they are more than happy to discuss things with me. I would have no hesitation to use Arkwright House again.

Very happy with the care my relative is receiving. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I think my cousin is being very well looked after. It is not easy as she has dementia.

The care my father has received since August 2023 has been excellent. The staff are always very attentive and caring. They go the extra mile, any concerns about my dad's health are raised immediately and engagement with the GP is ensured. The staff attend very well to my dad's self-care. He needs a lot of support and is always very clean and tidy. My dad seems very happy in the environment and the staff clearly know him very well. I would highly recommend Arkwright House.

Father in Law moved into Arkwright House Care Home in December, the care he is receiving is excellent. The manager and staff are all very friendly helpful and caring. Extremely helpful with the transition as this was quite stressful for the family. He has settled in quickly and is very happy to be there. My mother also stays here for short-term respite breaks, once again staff are extremely helpful, caring and support all her needs.

The manager and all the fantastic staff of Arkwright House have provided the kindest, most compassionate and professional care to our Mother, Nanna and Great Grandma, for the past four-and-a-half years, including her deeply challenging palliative care, which they approached with dignity and utmost empathy.

I love the true value of person-centred care from all the staff and management at Arkwright House. I feel they take their time to meet my nanna's needs from the smallest of wishes to ensuring she is at the fullest of health. I have a great relationship with the staff and always feel I can go to them with any doubts or concerns I have and it is dealt with promptly. I love that there are activities daily to keep my nanny active and stimulated, from hairdressers to musical bingo she is always involved laughing along with staff and her friends. I am grateful for all the care and support they have given my nanna over the years, my nanna continues to blossom at the young age of 81 with the caring nature she receives from the hardworking staff. Thank you Arkwright House for the endless hard work it does not go unnoticed.

Everything at Arkwright House is excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of the care home and its wonderful staff they are all truly amazing people, thoughtful, hardworking, caring and very professional in the job they do. They truly are the best of us.

I am so impressed with the care my dad receives at Arkwright Care Home. The staff are caring and give a level of care beyond that which I expected. My Dad is happy and safe and I am confident that they always put his best interests first.
