View Full Details of AYS Care LtdThe care my mother has received since living at AYS has been brilliant - it has been tailored to her specific complex needs. The staff have always been friendly and the manager has great communication skills, updating my mother's condition etc and taking the time to understand her illness and requirements through a patient-centred approach. Thank you.
It is very friendly and welcoming. Lots of support when I first came here. All staff are helpful. The food is very appetising and is freshly cooked by the cook. There are activities we can do including books for reading, colouring, painting, etch art, puzzles, crosswords, cooking, zumba, gardening, cultural themed days like Indian day, shopping, radio music, dog therapy, watching TV and having access to premium TV, going to the beach, leisure world, bowling, swimming, going to Christmas markets, Christmas parties and dinners and decorating the Easter bonnet. Family members are very satisfied with the experience at AYS Care. Approachable manager who is always eager to help. Night and Day staff check in on the residents frequently. Pampering by doing hairdressing, manicure and chiropractor. Regular eye tests are conducted. Fluids are always available during the day and jugs are provided in bedrooms every night. The home is very clean and smells nice.
I visited my brother unannounced and I was very welcomed. I had drinks throughout the visit and biscuits. The manager showed me the progress of my brother which was very nice to see. Very happy with the home and staff are friendly.
A lovely place, with caring staff that have the priority of the patients first. Always having lovely meals. It's nice to feel our family member is safe and well looked after. And any concerns we are notified of and are dealt with.
We are very happy as a family that my mother has been placed in AYS care. They are very caring and supportive and act on feedback. Mum is doing really well there and is the happiest she has been in years. Thank you AYS.
Top notch! Very caring staff and management, unlike many other places I've been to where it's more to do with red tape, looks and money. Both have a number one priority - the patients. This was clear straight away. The place is run professionally, from the cleaners to the cooks to the management.
My brother was a resident at AYS Care from September to December 2023 following suffering a stroke in December 2022. He spent most of his time up until coming into AYS in hospital and was a very troubled and unhappy person. Unfortunately he lost his life in December 2023 and I can honestly say, he was his happiest in a long time once in the care of AYS. The communication from staff was faultless and I felt that my brother was safe and cared for at all times. I would like to thank AYS for the brilliant care right up to and even following my brother's death.
My brother has settled very well in the home. The staff are very attentive and caring. It's a relief for us as his family to know that he is safe and well cared for. It is a smaller home with few residents, which is perfect for my brother and his situation. How he feels is taken into consideration, this is important for residents with mental health issues.
My brother was accepted into AYS September 2023, on the recommendation from the hospital care team to seek out a small home which could potentially offer a more intimate, safer environment for my brother. Fortunately, we found the team AYS with availability and met all the essential criteria to meet my brother's needs. Yes, it is a small care home with accommodation for 8 residents, but has plenty of staff and support 24/7 for all. All at the home including staff, managers and residents make it into a more homely place to stay and visit. I receive regular updates directly and feel able to communicate back any issues or concerns relating to my brother's condition and well being. For the family, we are all content and reassured that my brother's welfare is being monitored and looked after. He feels safe at AYS which is the best outcome we have had in years.
