View Full Details of Barton ManorFrom the first phone call, to a home visit, to an unannounced visit to Barton Manor Care Home, I felt so very reassured. What a kind and caring team of Staff. All so pleasant to talk to, so respectful to their residents and each other. All beautifully dressed, always smiling. Everywhere looked immaculate. All residents, visitors and staff looked so happy, relaxed and content. There was something for everyone, so many activities, I felt I'd like to stay myself. Every window had a different outlook, so would please everyone. All needs can be met - from personal care to hair done, feet done, everything that would concern you. A beautifully new building with residents needs in mind. I have had this home recommended to me so many times. It wasn't hard to see why. I feel any resident would be happy staying here and their family and friends would be quickly reassured that they'd found the right place for their loved ones.
I have visited a family friend many times since they have been living at Barton Manor, on each visit I find every member of the team to be helpful, friendly & respectful & nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is always immaculate, fresh & very welcoming, I look forward to visiting, not only my friend, but everyone at Barton Manor, it's like one big family. I must add, over the Christmas month, the place was amazing! The Barton Manor team had it full of festivities every day, bringing lots of happy faces & special memories. I know it's probably a month late, but Happy 2025 to all at Barton Manor & thank you!
I am so happy and impressed with the way Mother is being cared for, I doubt if there's better. The staff couldn't be more attentive. Bless them and thank you so much.
Excellent caring staff - always honest and informative. The facilities and meals are amazing as are the rooms which are wonderfully decorated. Barton Manor has a cinema for the residents and a hairdressers. I visited today and the wonderful receptionist had even taken the trouble to take a photo of my mum after having her hair done. The care manager is equally kind and knowledgeable if you have any questions. They are always upfront and honest about anything you ask them.
I have visited Barton Manor again today to visit my friend, I do this weekly. It's always a pleasure to visit Barton Manor, staff are brilliant, the home is kept beautiful, no old people smell, always asked if I would like a coffee, nothing is too much trouble. After a bad experience of a previous home, I am so glad that I found Barton Manor.
My auntie stayed for respite for a couple of weeks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was a well-balanced diet suiting all needs. Would recommend.
I cannot fault the care my mother received during her short stay at Barton Manor. Every member of staff, from housekeeping, catering to carers, was friendly and Mum was known to them all, despite remaining in her room - they all regularly popped in. I was kept fully informed in a very timely way of any falls or illness and during the final days, I witnessed a level of care that could not have been more personal and loving. Unfortunately, Mum died whilst in Barton Manor and the staff were exemplary at that time.
Absolutely amazing care home. Amazing staff, the food is great (Mum says!) and it's more like a hotel! Genuinely love it.
Everyone is very helpful. The food is excellent and you don't have anything wouldn't like or want. The bedrooms are always kept tidy and clean and bathroom. The staff are always there to help. I will recommend the accommodation to anyone who asks. I can't say that there's anything or anyone who I dislike as they are very helpful and also there to help.
I was at Barton Manor for a two-week respite break. On arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. Then shown to my room which was very well appointed, clean, new furniture, very comfortable. All the staff must have been hand-picked, all very helpful and kind. A good choice of food freshly prepared for every meal. Lots of activities to keep our brains working. This was my first visit but I am sure it will not be the last.
I had an excellent stay, very well looked after.
Visited my nan a few times during her 2 week respite care. She looked well and happy, all staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for all the residents there. Couldn't fault a thing.
My mum has been staying at Barton Manor for a couple of weeks while I was away on holiday. From the moment we arrived, she was welcomed with open arms and the care staff could not have been more lovely towards her, making sure she felt settled in. I couldn't recommend this home more, 5 stars plus plus plus.
I have nothing but praise for Barton Manor. The staff and management were so helpful and friendly. My mum stayed for two weeks respite while I had a holiday and recharge my batteries. I knew she was in good hands and went away and completely switched off and enjoyed some time to myself. For my mum, it was like being in a give-star hotel with fabulous meals, loads of activities and she told the staff she had a lovely stay and looked forward to the next time. So, I guess I will be booking another holiday in the New Year.
Very satisfied with the care, food and especially with the staff, was so much more than I expected, was made to feel so welcome and looked after. Will look forward to spending my next respite at the 'Barton Manor'.
My 77 year old husband has a fall and broke his knee cap. He was discharged from hospital with a full leg cast. Barton Manor offered an understanding and caring environment for him to recover for 6 weeks. He also suffers with the onset of dementia and needs social interaction that Barton Manor offered in abundance. Staff are marvelous always happy to encourage everyone staying with them long and short term. Highly recommend Barton Manor. 5 star.
Barton Manor is a beautiful new home, the facilities are modern and it's spotlessly clean - easily comparable to hotel standards. It's light and airy and spacious. Most crucially, all the staff, from carers to management to front of house, are wonderful, caring, honest and diligent. Mum only stayed for respite but we were so grateful for the support and guidance provided. What a great team. Thank you everyone.
Management and staff have been amazing. My mother-in-law came to Barton Manor after a stroke, having been in hospital for three months. The help, support and care the staff have given my mother-in-law have been outstanding. Staff have gone above and beyond with the care and support given to my mother-in-law in her recovery. As a family, we feel very lucky to have found such a good support system looking after my mother-in-law. A big thank you also to the seniors, always on the ball with medication and appointments.
Having spent some time looking for the right care home for my mum, Barton Manor stood out as, by far, the best choice. I can not fault Barton Manor in any way. The care Mum receives is fantastic and all staff are very proactive in recognising and addressing any needs Mum has. Senior care staff are always on hand to talk through any concerns (normally already spotted and addressing) and always on top of any referrals to doctors, physio etc. There is a very full, varied program of inclusive activities always taking place by a dedicated, friendly activities team, which Mum loves to join in with. A lovely variety of meals and cakes always from the catering team too! We are always welcomed with a smile into such a happy atmosphere and happy to know Mum is in such a friendly, caring home.
Following us needing a home to place my mum for two weeks respite, we chose Barton Manor, the home and staff were helpful, caring and kind, we felt happy to leave her there in their hands. Unfortunately, she only stayed a few days as her dementia was more advanced than we realised, which was highlighted in the change of environment. The home was honest with us, supporting us with relevant information which we could provide to another home and professionals to get her appropriate help.
