View Full Details of Beeston RiseVery good time out, arranged very well, enjoyed myself and company.
The team at Beeston Rise have worked wonders to make my mum and dad feel comfortable and happy since their move. I am confident and therefore highly reassured they are safe, being cared for on multiple levels and able to socialise in a manner not possible for them for years.
All the staff are extremely friendly to both residents and visitors. Drinks (tea, coffee, etc.) are available to visitors at all times. The atmosphere of the premises is very homely. Rooms are very well appointed with lovely en-suites. A home I would use again for respite care or as a permanent place of residence.
The building is spacious, light and airy with plenty of natural light. The decor is cheery and the wall pictures are interesting. The furniture is comfortable and respectful, allowing groups to sit together. I noticed that the toilet doors are heavy, so it is difficult for residents to use and reach the facilities without help. My sister's bedroom on the ground floor was roomy with plenty of shelving for books and photo albums. The bed looked comfortable. There were plenty of surfaces to display family photos. The shower room was well laid out. I have 12 friends in "homes" in Ludlow, and Beeston Rise is 50% more welcoming than any here!
Visited from abroad to see my mum after recent move to this care hyome. There is absolutely nothing to fault here - everything truly excellent. A purpose-built almost new facility with every possible facility and convenience, but the most important aspect of caring is the staff and everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, friendly, caring and could not do enough to help both the residents but also their visitors. I was always worried about having to make this step in caring for my parents and indeed dreading it ever happen to me, but those concerns are greatly reduced having witnessed that my mum is in safe and caring hands in a positive environment. Big thanks to all the staff for the excellent work they are doing!
We have recently moved Mum and Dad into Beeston Rise, we find the staff to be attentive to both my parents and us. Facilities are excellent, furnished to a high standard. We couldn't want for better care for them. We can't comment on activities as they haven't participated yet, however, they look to cater for all.
My mother has been in Beeston Rise since February 12th and has been looked after very well. She seems to be slowly settling in. Unfortunately, there has been a sickness bug and I was unable to visit but there is excellent safety. And now I can visit, it's very reassuring that my mother is being looked after. All the staff are excellent and so very helpful and kind. Thank you so much.
The overall management that I receive is excellent. I am a lifelong resident I feel comfortable here. The carers will always listen to me, my few complaints are taken seriously and appropriate action is taken, always with suitable explanation. I feel I am able to talk to the carers and so resolve any difference of opinion r.e. how i feel especially when in pain.
Every single member of staff has been extremely welcoming and kind to my mum. From the greeting at the main door to the lady who does the laundry - everyone is just superb. The fixtures and fittings are beautiful and the experiences that have been offered to Mum already are varied and interesting. I feel completely assured that Mum is getting the best care she could possibly have. Thanks to everyone in the team at Beeston Rise.
I could not fault Beeston Rise. All the carers are lovely and very friendly and approachable and nothing is ever too much to ask. The activities they provide are amazing and very varied. The facilities are very well looked after and it is a lovely environment to be in and visit.
My mother was always very adamant that she did not want to go into residential care and as such has been in receipt of excellent 24/7 care in the family home for the past three years. However, her available funds have now been all but depleted and I had to find suitable residential care in order to put her home on the market. I found Beeston Rise (amongst others) by completing a form online through an on line care directory. The on line care directory then gave me a shortlist of eight homes which met my and my mother's criteria. I chose Beeston Rise for her which is a brand new home only twenty minutes from me (instead of being 2 hours away as she was previously). I expected that it would take my mother some time to settle in. She has been at Beeston Rise for less than two weeks is really happy and settling in well. The staff have made her (and us) most welcome. My mother (who is 97 this year) actually said today that she 'would recommend this place to anyone'.
Since having a heavy fall and banging her head, our mother has lost much of her cognitive senses and has been unable to care for herself. She moved into Beeston Rise at the beginning of January. The move was efficient and the staff very helpful. The rooms are all immaculately clean and tidy. The individual rooms are a good space for the residents. The staff cannot do enough to help and are a credit to their professions. The various facilities are excellent, from a hair salon to a bar room and cinema. The food is fresh and of good quality and individual needs are considered. Entertainment is provided each day in the morning and afternoon. I could not have wished for a better place for Mum to be. Thank you.
I came into Beeston Rise today, Christmas Day, to have a meal with my father and the staff were most welcoming and friendly. They gave all the residents a Christmas gift and took their photos - it was a lovely gesture. We all enjoyed a delicious meal together, prepared by the lovely chef and all the staff were superb in serving a lovely three-course meal and attending to us all, together with a lovely glass of wine.
My father did not want to go into a care home but had been told by his GP that he needed 24-hour care. However, I am pleased to say he is now very content to be living in Beeston Rise. His bedroom is very comfortable and has been carefully adapted for him. The rooms, i.e. dining, lounges, etc, are very well furnished and relaxing. The food is freshly cooked, and he likes most food. He has made good friends and joined in with activities.
Very good. Excellent care and excellent help and assistance.
Very friendly with courteous, competent and helpful staff including the 'front of house' office team. Beeston Rise is new hopefully as the numbers of residents evidently increase the high standards will be maintained. So early days but as a starter very impressed overall. Loved the recent 'Haloween' when the staff made great efforts in dressing up and engaging with the residents.
My mum entered Beeston Rise Care Home at the beginning of September 2023. My overall experience has been totally positive because Mum is always clean, always well dressed and has the most fantastic room. The staff are totally amazing looking after the residents, keeping in contact with relatives. What a team! To top this, they arranged a visit to the festival with the landlady to celebrate Mum's 51 years working at the festival - what an emotional day for the family and the exceptional staff employed by a wonderful care home.
Breakfast - good choice and varied menu from day to day. Cereals and cooked breakfasts. Lunch - nicely cooked, served at a good temperature. Good, varied menu. Dinner - sandwiches and snacks are well presented and choice of fillings.
My relative moved into Beeston Rise Care Home six weeks ago. He has the most beautiful en-suite room with a French door opening onto the garden. The staff are experienced, kind and caring and on each visit, he has always looked clean and presentable (which is very important to him). The management team is approachable and helpful and often asks if everything is alright. He has settled very well and is thoroughly enjoying the food and the company of the staff and other residents in the luxury lounge areas. He is looking forward to watching films in the cinema, which I understand will be opening very soon.
This is a new care home, only opened six weeks ago. The staff and management are excellent and working hard to get it established. The way they work with the residents is marvellous and it is only a matter of time before it is the premier home in the area.
