Very warm and welcoming care home. Residents care is second to none. So many social activities for residents inc music acts, singers and arts and crafts. Trips out in the mini bus is a popular activity loved by residents. Great communication too with families.

All staff are amazing and helpful, can't do enough for you. Place is always clean and tidy and so many activities going on for the residents. Food always looks and tastes amazing and the bistro is always fully stocked for residents and visitors.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Birchwood. They do a fantastic job and all seem so dedicated to caring for both the residents and their families and each other. The only downside is the difficulty parking at times.

Mum has been in the care home for a year now and the level of care has been amazing. The care staff are so kind and attentive. The activity staff work tirelessly, providing so many different activities and taking the residents out to many places frequently. Mum has been suffering with back pain over the last couple of weeks and they have been really good, getting the doctor and nurse involved. Food is excellent and the hospitality, housekeeping and cleaning staff are all excellent.

What an amazing place. My mum was one of the first residents here, and we are so pleased that we found it. All the carers, maintenance, housekeepers, receptionists, admin and lifestyle are absolutely amazing, all extremely helpful and caring. Highly recommend this wonderful care home. Thank you to all the team.

Met my friend in her room initially and had a chat while passing her some bits of shopping (shower gel, etc). We then went to the coffee lounge and had a lovely cup of coffee made for us by a very pleasant carer. Cake and biscuits were on offer too! We then went for a walk in the grounds and sat outside on a bench chatting. Everyone is very friendly and pleasant. The setting and rooms are lovely. It has been like this on all my visits.

I never worry that Nanna will go without the care and attention that she needs, the service that the staff provide is second to none. The facility is always clean and everyone is always kind.

Birchwood Heights is the most wonderful place for my mum to live. All the staff from managers, carers, activity workers, hospitality staff and all the support team are great. Very professional, caring, friendly and it is clear that the whole team are knowledgable of all the residents, and treats everyone with dignity. The rooms/facilities are homely and always clean. Daily menus always go down well with Mum. I couldn't recommend enough.

I couldn't have wished for a better care home for my dad. My dad really didn't want to go into a care home and I can honestly say my dad was happy at Birchwood Heights. The carers are all amazing. I can't thank everyone at the home enough for taking care of my dad. It really is a very happy home. with the best carers and management! Thank you!

My mum has been a resident at Birchwood Heights for the last 9 months, and she is wonderfully looked after. Staff are all caring and welcoming and give amazing individualised care. The home is clean, homely and very well-designed. During the warmer months, my mum has been able to enjoy the garden, mini bus trips and outside social activities, and she has expressed on many occasions how happy she is here.

Birchwood Heights is a beautifully designed care home. My dad has been on respite there for the past 8 weeks. The ambience of the place is happy, calming and inviting, but for me, the most important thing is the care that my dad has received. I have never met such an amazing group of people, every member of staff knows every resident by name, even down to what they drink when in the bistro. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is treated with kindness, dignity and love. When I visit my father, I feel like I’m walking into his home. I’m made to feel welcome and feel like part of the family. It doesn’t matter, whether it is the receptionist, carers or management, everyone works as one and nothing is beyond any of them. Plenty of activities and outings. Even when my dad was sad, the staff sat with him, gave him a hug and showed so much kindness and love. If there was a score of 1 to 10, I would give them 1000. I would highly recommend Birchwood Height. The place and the staff are amazing.

I visited Birchwood Heights today and my oh my what a lovely and welcoming home. It is clean, bright and warm. The reception staff were lovely, however, my praise goes to the general manager at Birchwood Heights. He has been so caring and took the time to chat with me, he has everyone’s best interest at heart and actually shows an interest in the conversation. He was so warm and kind and that’s what you look for in a care home.

I can't rate this wonderful care home enough; the staff are absolutely incredible, so attentive and kind and put on daily brilliant events for the residents. The home itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. The restaurant is exquisite. If I could move in here, I would!

This is our third visit to Birchwood Heights to see a very dear friend of many years. We have been very pleased and impressed with all aspects of the home, especially the very caring staff and also the spotless cleanliness everywhere inside and out. We have indicated "good" for facilities and activities as we have not actually seen these but have no hesitation in rating "excellent" for everything else. It was vital to us that our friend was well looked after and are very satisfied.

Since dad joined Birchwood Heights we cannot be more grateful for the help and support of the staff in making the whole experience as easy as possible. He has been welcomed and is really thriving under their care and we really can see a positive change in his overall well-being and his own outlook. It is a big weight off our minds knowing dad is well cared for and the team are brilliant at keeping us informed about everything that is going on.

Mum and Dad moved into Birchwood Heights around 3 weeks ago, and so far the experience has been great. It is the biggest peace of mind knowing they are in a safe environment and treated with care, respect and kindness.

The service was excellent, staff were accommodating and lovely. It was a difficult time as we knew Grandad was dying, but it was made a lot easier having such wonderful people around us and him. Knowing that when we left he was in good hands was comforting. Foos and drink was amazing and the general set up of the rooms - stunning. A fabulous place!

I couldn't have wished for a better care home for my dad. My dad really didn't want to go into a care home and I can honestly say my dad was happy at Birchwood Heights. The carers are all amazing.
